Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 716: Invasion
N’bayé: Your Majesty, the monkeys... Please, you have to come.
Kael read the chat with a blank expression. He had been waiting for this, as it was among the few things he looked forward to now.
While he thought of ways to go past his limits so that he could ascend to the immortal tier, he might as well develop other areas of his life.
Kael quietly rose from the bed. His muscular form sat upright on the bed as he brought his knees close to his torso.
Kael’s mind was so serene at this moment that he was taking a bit of time to appreciate some minor things that he would usually ignore.
The softness of the pillow bed he was in, the ray of light coming through the large window, and the peacefulness of all that was around him.
Kael was painfully aware of everything. Even the movements of the little particles or the flow of time in the room. The minor gravitational field generated by every object.
He could observe everything.
Just then, there was a slight change in the tone and atmosphere around Kael.
Kael’s eyes rose, the images of all the things his clones were experiencing flashing in his eyes. There was a brief interruption of his connection with them when they passed through the Original Heaven gate.
But the connection was restored and Kael resumed full control of his clones.
At the same time, thousands of golden screens flashed in his eyes.
Now that he was a Singularity, or soon to be a Singularity, his powers had reached a level of depth hard to describe.
All the systems that he had created had become firmer as their existence was now tied to a sovereign of reality.
The lion system had a few new features added to them in the last hour. Kael was creating new upgrades with incredible speed and was eliminating all the flaws that had been hidden from him.
The other systems that were linked to the lion system as subsidiary systems had also received their own upgrades.
Now that the Primordial Spider of Connection was fully integrated into the systems, The Web had become very helpful.
It was like a virtual assistant that was responsible for connecting all the other systems to each other.
There were also a few other laws that had concepts that allowed them to overlap with the Law of Connection.
The Law of Strings, Law of Communication, Law of Information, Law of Synchronization, and a few more had roles that allowed their roles to overlap with the Law of Connection.
Unfortunately, the Primordials of these laws had not yet been found so all the load was kept on The Web.
Fortunately, The Web was also growing stronger, and with Kael taking off some of the load on his own, it was doable.
But soon, with more Primordials being found and added to the League and more systems being created, something would have to be done.
Right now, with Kael’s mind subconsciously browsing through the intricacies of his systems, he noticed that there was some commotion.
Something had happened.
Kael blinked his golden eyes and focused more on all the information related to the past ten seconds.
"Oh..." Kael muttered to himself, seeing all the images and texts being exchanged.
The dragons seemed to have gone crazy.
Apparently.
There were starting to be multiple reports of dragons appearing in Leonine Heaven at different locations.
Of course, with the current stage of Leonine Heaven and the cranked-up senses of the lions and lionesses, it was almost impossible for the average dragon to enter and go around undetected.
As soon as they appeared, they were swarmed by lions who tore them to pieces before remembering to ask questions.
A few lost Heavenly Beacons were being recovered in the process so this shouldn’t be too bad.
What was worrying was that the number of dragons appearing in Leonine Heaven in the last ten seconds was climbing higher and higher steadily.
At first, it was a few hundred. Nothing to actually be alarmed about. The first wave of dragons was killed very fast and it didn’t even register as something worth talking about on the forums.
Then it grew to a thousand.
One rogue heavenly gate started producing multitudes of dragons that rushed into the heavens and began to overwhelm the kings and princes who fought back.
Soon, multiple clans were being alerted to the invasion.
It was an actual invasion.
The boldness.
The dragons must have gone crazy.
Kael, still sitting in his room, remained calm and looked at all the forums as well as what was being said.
Many of the lions were reacting with either rage or excitement at the idea of being invaded by the dragons.
Although they were very much surprised that the dragons were that audacious and impatient, they quickly adjusted.
If one could look at the map of Leonine Heaven, one would see what Kael was seeing.
Indeed, Kael now had a complete map of the Leonine Heaven. It was one of the things he had gained after eliminating Musty.
This map of Leonine Heaven was divided by Kael into two versions. There was the version he was using personally for himself.
This map was way more detailed and realistic as he could literally see somethings happening in real time.
Although he could not gain true control of Leonine Heaven, this could be the start.
The second version was shared with the whole lion race through the system. It was one of the latest features Kael had added.
This second version was less detailed and more cartoon-ish in its display.
Both maps were three-dimensional, which alone made them incredible Irrespective of the version.
Kael blinked his eyes, and the three-dimensional map of Leonine Heaven appeared in his mind.
With a casual thought, he navigated the map with the vibe of a lonely forsaken god.
Kael observed carefully.
From what he saw, the dragons were using lost Heavenly Beacons to invade from two points.
There was a very heavy invasion happening in the eastern coverage of Leonine Heaven.
Then there was a much lighter invasion from the west.
Most heavens were divided into nine parts.
The upper north, lower north, upper south, lower south, the upper west and lower west, then the upper east and lower east.
Then at the center of it was the central coverage.
Sometimes, the upper and lower parts would just be called a coverage for the sake of generality. Like the western coverage.
Besides locations and the infrastructures occupying those places, there was not much uniqueness in them. The central cover was just as heavenly as the western coverage.
In this case, the central coverage was where Kael’s Apex Pyramid was being built, it was also the location of the Massive Black Pyramid.
It was a pincer attack.
But, couldn’t the lions just leave Leonine Heaven with their own heavenly beacons?
Well, where would they go? The Mortalverse?
With the current mentality of the lions after Kael achieved Singularity, that was akin to a rich elite going to live in the gutters just because armed robbers came to his penthouse.
They couldn’t even imagine it.
Naturally, the lions were not pushovers.
If anyone was going to be doing any pushing, it had to be the lions.
Kael saw through the map that millions of tiny golden dots were flowing like a stream to the two invasion points.
These dots of golden light were miniature indicators for any creature linked to his system. The gold colour was because of the Conquering Essence within them.
These dots flowed like a violent river to the invasion points and clashed with the mixed colour dots which were none other than the dragons.
Kael could see that the dragons were indeed getting quite numerous. It didn’t matter how many dragons were killed by the lions, more kept coming in.
Dragons were destructive but they were not known to be this suicidal, especially for no reason.
The war wasn’t worth this much loss.
Kael zoomed in, replacing the dot interface with a clearer image of the dragons.
Kael could see the arkships and shuttles zooming through the golden space of his heaven.
Kael zoomed in further on those units that had begun to battle on the floating islands and small planets.
Drakes, wyverns, and wyrms. Kael saw the subspecies of the dragons dying in the multitudes as arkships exchanged cannon beams.
Scaled flesh and dragon meat floated everywhere.
’Isn’t this the third time the dragons are invading Leonine Heaven?’ Kael asked himself as he blinked his eyes and stopped looking at the map.
The appearance of the dragons stopped annoying him, it stopped irritating him.
He had come to understand that in his journey to dominate all that existed, there must surely be all forms of resistance.
It was his self-inflicted duty to ensure that those forms of resistance ceased to exist. Alas, Kael’s mind was clear.
He wasn’t thinking on a normal level again.
"I’ll be back..."
Those words resounded in the minds of all the consorts in the massive black pyramid.
By the time anyone could comprehend what happened, Kael was gone.
