Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 785: Impending Evolution
"Like that?"
"Hmm, yes,"
"Like this?"
"Exactly...hmm..."
"This is the spot,.."
"Yes yes, very good..."
Kael’s compliments and Daniella’s desperate seeking of Kael’s validation resounded around the vicinity of the lake shore.
Kael was sitting on his simple mat, as usual.
His head was bowed, allowing Daniella access to his neck so that she could massage him properly.
This was a nice moment.
Daniella’s hands, which were capable of crushing moons to flat plates, caressed Kael’s neck and shoulders with a gentleness even she didn’t know she had.
Kael himself was actually enjoying this very much. He relaxed his body and allowed the pressure to touch all the right places.
One had to know that even if Kael wanted to relax his entire body to make it extremely weak like that of a mortal, he couldn’t.
His body, even though not the strongest, would eternally be harder than steel. He could move his own body, that wasn’t a problem.
But if anyone tried to massage him, they wouldn’t be able to do anything. It was like a human trying to reshape a wall.wothbhisbbare hands.
Nothing would happen.
Even if Kael just lay there and suppressed his powers, very few would be able to bend his skin or apply satisfying pressure on his body.
The low-tier immortals were the same. Too little pressure and they wouldn’t be able to make Kael flinch, too much and that’s just a fight waiting to escalate.
Daniella on the other hand was way more powerful than Kael, at the peak of the Mid-Level Immortal tier.
At three million years old, she would be considered slightly above average, but with her status as a Celestial Lioness, she was very special.
Daniella would blush and think to herself why she was doing these things.
She was three million years old and Kael was just five years away from his first one hundred years.
Why was she treating him like he was a king?
Well, Kael was just that good.
It was a proven fact; even three-million-year-old baddies couldn’t escape Kael’s slow and heavy, majestic charm if he took them seriously.
Kael had everything except age on his side.
He had status. Daniella’s clan king was more likely to listen to Kael than he was to listen to her.
Over the last fifteen years, so many things have gradually started to revolve around Kael’s actions.
It was like everyone was holding their breath, waiting for something massive, waiting for some signal to unleash their rage.
Kael’s strength was growing every day. She didn’t know how someone could condense so much power in their bits while still being tier 7; it was incredible.
That Kael had fought against dozens of low-tier Immortals spoke of how much of a monster he was.
Although the increase in power for Kael was very small, almost negligible, it was still noticed by Daniella.
This was impressive and it was evidence that there might never be any other lion like Kael.
Just less than a hundred years and he was already fast approaching the limits of his mortality.
Not even Noel had been able to achieve this.
And everyone knew it.
There was also the fact that Kael was constantly being fawned over by all the single lionesses in Original Heaven.
It couldn’t be helped, Kael had developed himself to the extent that he would always be the better option compared to anyone else.
Kael had told Daniella about his obsession with the structure of his consort and how he didn’t want multiple consorts of the same Lionheart.
This created a scarcity mindset that Daniella, as experienced as she was, couldn’t escape.
After all, Kale was literally a scarce commodity in a sense. There would never be anyone else like him and if another celestial lioness caught Kael’s eye, that would be the end of her chance.
After Kael had asked her to be his consort once, he never mentioned it directly again. Instead, he used indirect messaging to let her know that she was running out of time.
The past fifteen years were the longest fifteen years Daniella had ever experienced.
"Daniella," Kael said, his eyes closed as he enjoyed the massage while thinking of other things.
"Yes, All-King," Daniella answered casually with a thin smile. She was still trying to justify her actions in her mind.
"In the next five years, I shall commence my evolution into immortality," Kael stated as his voice took on a firmer tone.
Daniella paused the movements of her arms, "Oh."
"I may die, I may live, but I don’t know how long it may take," Kael raised his head and his shoulders became straight.
He barely opened his eyes, causing a dim golden glow to escape the gaps.
"Do you need me to prepare anything?" Daniella asked.
She didn’t doubt one second that Kael could do this, his growth was very fast and it made sense.
But it was also dangerous. There was a possibility of dying in the process. Failure was also very likely but Kael wasn’t the type to back down unless he succeeded or died.
Failure the first time just meant that he would get to try again, but everyone knew that the first failure almost always meant that there would be a never-ending string of failures in the future.
Failure was unacceptable.
Death was a better alternative to powerlessness.
Kael squeezed his hands. Surrounded by immortals who were willing to listen to him, he could still sense their hesitation once in a while.
He could still feel their questioning gazes. From Daniella, Jordan, Alexander, and everyone.
They would hesitate when talking with Kael.
Because he was weaker than them.
They acknowledged his strength, but it didn’t change the fact that he was a mortal.
"No," Kael shook his head.
"But you should prepare yourself. If I succeed with my evolution.
I will become something else, something better...
Something stronger.
Our campaign on the cosmos will officially be in full swing.
The ashes and flames of conflict will forge the new generation.
The second Purification will begin.
Our enemies must fall.
Weaknesses must be removed at all costs.
So...
Prepare yourself.
Prepare to participate."
Daniella puffed out her chest. Yes, she didn’t forget who she was deep down, a conqueror, a lioness.
"Will it be bloody?" Daniella asked.
"It will be fair," Kael said.
That was all Daniella needed to hear to have a great fear well within her heart.
Kael had never hidden his great displeasure with weakness, even when it was flawed and he was somewhat weak himself.
Kael had talked about how he didn’t like the current general strength of the lion race if the Original Heaven was exempted.
His eyes would always flash with a certain eagerness and a bloodthirsty look.
The All-King had asked himself a question concerning the future of his race and decided that violence was the most efficient answer.
So violence it shall be.
"The Primordial at the bottom of this lake," Kael said all of a sudden, "I want him."
Daniella looked at the observation lake and saw that the water trembled a little.
She narrowed her eyes.
"That’s the Primordial jellyfish of Observation, it’s a High Level Immortal and the only reason it is still trapped here is because of our combined powers.
If you want it, you’ll have to dirty your hands. I don’t think the Supremes are willing to hand it to you," Daniella said and crossed her arms.
"I wasn’t planning on asking for their permission," Kael said.
Then Kael moved. His bones cracked and his flesh flexed. He stood up, finally.
Daniella stepped back and looked up.
Kael towered over her, superior in strength, size, and dominance.
"Are you going somewhere?" Daniella asked.
Kael looked at her,. eyeing her from up to down.
"Such a shame I’ll have to move on," Kael said nonchalantly.
Daniella’s chest felt empty.
"What do you mean?" She asked. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"I don’t have time for you again," Kael said, "Gabriel has proposed to introduce me to a lioness..."
"Stop!" Daniella frowned and raised her voice, shocking herself.
This was the first time Kael would see her frown so genuinely.
She was always so gentle and attentive.
"I won’t," Kael shook his head, "I have built something for my consorts, and I’m making ready for the grand era.
I don’t need someone playing hard to get around me.
I needed someone strong in both body, and mind,"
Kael was direct and straightforward.
The simple mat under Kael disappeared into his pocket space as his feet started to lift off the ground.
His golden tail circled to the left and his ears stood at attention.
"Oh..." Daniella looked down, "iwasjustwaitingforyou..." She whispered, barely audible.
"What was that?" Kael raised an eyebrow questioningly.
Daniella looked back into Kael’s beautiful golden eyes through her glasses.
"I was waiting for you to ask again," She confessed.
"Hmm..." Kael was silent. Looking at her, his thoughts being a mystery to her.

Kael smiled.
