Chapter 788: Chapter 788: No Compromise!

In Original Heaven, at the shore of the Observation Lake.

Kael was hovering a few inches above the ground, wearing a satisfied smile.

Daniella looked at him questioningly.

"What are you smiling about? Are you laughing at me?" Daniella asked.

The smile on Kael’s face was wiped off almost instantly.

"Something I had lost has finally been found, everything is fine," Kael said.

Daniella noticed that Kael seemed a bit more relaxed, as if he had just cheated on an exam and passed without getting caught.

"Oh, what is it?" Daniella asked.

Kael’s lips pressed themselves, "That’s not for you to find out."

The silence that followed was extremely awkward.

No man should be ashamed of sidelining a female who did not get on board with his frame and build.

Kael was not ashamed of such either. He knew that with or without his powers, a rejection did not take anything away from him. It didn’t change him.

If anything, it just meant he had to look for what he wanted somewhere else and leave the rest of his life.

Daniella could see it in Kael’s eyes now, that attention that Kael used to give her as she had been staying here was now starting to disappear.

Kael was starting to look at her with the same level of detachment and coldness that he looked at everyone else.

"Are you treating me like this because I am not your consort?" Daniella asked, feeling greatly disappointed and disturbed.

Kael raised his eyebrows, "Am I supposed to give you special treatment for something?

The session is ending with Daniella. Very soon, we may only see each other on the battlefield or in a meeting room, never as an attendant."

Kael was very direct and his words stabbed Daniella’s heart.

Daniella frowned, "Aren’t we friends? Can’t you at least treat your friend differently from everyone?"

Kael chuckled, looking at Daniella with a very mocking gaze.

"Oh Daniella, lions don’t have friends, remember?" Kael said and shook his head.

"And who made that rule?!" Daniella raised her voice, and the waters vibrated.

"It’s the logical choice! Conquerors do NOT have friends.

Kings do NOT have friends, only foes and followers.

Even if others were making an exception, I wouldn’t. I stand ready by my creed and my purpose even at the gates of death eternal.

I have no friends, Daniella, you will not be an exception."

After Kael said that, his body shot into the sky. He left without saying a word but his message was clear.

Time was running out.

It wasn’t infinite in the first place.

Daniella was left standing there with the harshest reality check she had experienced in the last one million years.

The pressure was finally recognised.

Not just from the All-King, but from everything else.

Something great would soon happen, now was the time to make all the preparations as there might not be enough time again.

Kael was still a mortal, but once he became an immortal, things may change.

No one knew how much his strength would grow but they knew it would grow exponentially.

Daniella had choices to make and thoughts to reflect on.

As for Kael, he zoomed off through the sky, breaking the sound barrier and reality barrier with his speed.

He left a streak of multicoloured golden light behind as he headed straight for Jordan’s pyramid.

The estate of the De’Ville Lion Clan was not ordinary at all.

It was wide enough to dump a solar system on it. The crazy thing was that this place did not even have that many lions and lionesses.

Azeus and Phestus were the only ones who had clans with a mix of different Lionhearts.

The De’Ville Clan, the Uriel Clan, and the Judah Clan were exclusive Clans.

To join the De’Ville Clan, a lion would have to have the Demonic Lionheart. Celestial Lionheart for the Uriel Clan and Anti-Lionheart for the Judah Clan. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

The three clans were collectively known as the forbidden clans because they contained the most endangered species of lions.

The members of these clans were all very rare in any place and their fertility rate was not as high as that of the average lions. Not to mention they have very low chances of producing offspring with other lions.

Because of this, they had to protect themselves by forming exclusive clans.

And the clans were not like others either.

Because they had so many of the rare type, their numbers were more than the average clans.

The De’Ville Clan for example had a thousand Lion Princes and each had about ten to five hundred Lion lords under them.

It was the same for the other two.

Even then, just because they were allegedly endangered didn’t mean anyone was stupid enough to try to finish the job.

As Kael flew into the territory of De’Ville lions and lionesses, he saw why many feared the Demonic Lions.

Imagine a demon who was just the absolute worst at being a mad bringer of Chaos.

Then imagine an uncompromising tyrant with a burning desire to conquer and control his immediate surroundings.

Then imagine if those two traits were fused together.

That was the Demonic Lionheart.

A demonic lion was not the same as a demoniriger or a demonic dragon, they were different in the sense that the demonic lion has double the desire and incentive to fuck up everyone’s day raw just because they can.

There was also a very strong emphasis on the fact that they hardly compromised on anything unless they had no choice.

They were the embodiments of power that corrupts. The kind of kings who preferred ruling by fear over love any day and any time.

Not to mention that with the resources of the De’Ville Clan, the average demonic lion eventually reached tier 6.

Kael ignored the devilish feeling he was getting from the territory and flew directly to the pyramid at the center of the vast land.

He needed to meet with Jordan to begin the first phase of the plan.

It was way too early for what he wanted to ask for, but that was exactly what Kael wanted.
