Vice turned to the tree's as heard steps rushing toward him then

multiple figures rushed out from the tree's and he frown slightly before covering it with a smile as a familiar red eyes elf rushed toward him

"You bastard!" The elf voice shock the leaves as he approached Vice "you left that portal in front of that S-Rank"

Vice rased an eye brow as a sword formed in the elfs hand "you will head outside and move that gate outside the portal" he pointed the edge of his sword at Vice neck baring his teeth yet

Vice smirked as the elfs surrounded him with a blade against his neck "that a rude way to ask for help" he spoke in a calm tone

His eyes turned cold with a sinister smirk plastered on his face "it seems you facing quite a dilemma"

"Move before I drive my sword into your neck" the elfs eyes furrowed as he leaned closer yet

Vice smirk turned to a grin as he leaned closer "do it"

The elf clenched his jaw as his veins throbbed

He pulled the sword back as Vice stepped closer grinning "you can't do it"

He took another step closer passing the sword edge "why don't you try to practice manners when you speak to me"

He stare down the elf that was grinding his teeth as he stared back at Vice "is that all you want?"

Vice paused and tilted his head to the side, shutting his eyes pretending to think

"No" the elf nostril flared as he looked at Vice stupid grin "we have already established we don't like each other so you respect is meaningless at this point"

The elf sword vanished as his hand balled into fists "stop wasting time that S-Rank could enter the dungeon anytime"

Vice grabbed the elf shoulder shaking his head "your not really good at negotiations"

"Yes" before Vice could finish the elf spoke and Vice grin widened

"Ok great" as he held the elf shoulder he looked past the elves around him and vanished

"Gordon make a contract with him under the condition he will do his best to protect you all as you fight.." their eyes widened "..and he will never harm me directly or indirectly"

The elf pushed Vice to the side and grabbed Gordon shoulder "do not waste any more time"

Vice just smiled as he regained his balance

"We done" the elf turned to Vice

And Vice clapped his hands "let me guess the queen the only one left in the portal?"

"Yes" the elf gave a fast response

Vice turned to the dungeon maps as he vanished

The rain poured on him as he reappeared in front of a portal floating above wet sand, he sighed as he looked at the map watching the two dots dance move

A green portal appeared next to him and Vice smiled as the rained flowed down his face

His eyes widen as he entered the city gates everything had turned dark, he looked around but could see nothing

'The should be another gate after I pass that one' he looked back and it was still open as the only light source to the darkness

He covered his eared as he turned back to the gate falling down

He heard the clinking of shoe's, a portal appeared next to him as he turned to the sound

"Judging by the presence of that portal we will assume that your are here" an unfamiliar voice spoke and Vice moved closer to the portal

"Even if you run into that dungeon you can't escape" Vice felt water flow beneath his feet "the slime queen is fighting a paladin while her amy is busy attacking an empty city"

The water splashed as they stepped closer to the portal "the paladin is near the rank of SS while your surrounding by C-Rank awakens"

Vice feet froze as the water turned to ice "found you" the voice deepened

The air turned cold as the wall around froze filling the air with a creaking sound

'But if they planned this far why did they let me enter the portal?' He reached the clearing that had ratman and slimes

He stepped on to the green clearing "everyone get ready the goblins and orges are coming!" He walked past the blobs shouting

"Here" he gave everyone two bottles expect Lucas "this will help you in the fight" he forced a smile "now leave I'll send Gordon to help you soon"

The ratman ran past him while received a few questionable glances from Valeria but he ignored them as he turned to Lucas

Lucas hight was equally to his the only difference was the brown fur, sharp claws and pointy ears

He grabbed Lucas shoulder and dragged him into the core region "Gordon must be with the slimes right?"

Lucas just nodded staring at the leaves on the ground

"Good" he patted Lucas shoulder "I know you don't know how to fight with your new body but don't worry I don't expect anything crazy from you" Lucas eyes widen slightly "me and you are going to stay with the slimes that are not fighting"

Vice could hear faint voices and gentle ripples beyond the tree's "I have an important role for you"

He stopped "a role that will benefit everyone" he walked in front of Lucas and looked at him in the eyes "I want you to be the leader"

Lucas jaw slacked slightly "I have been thinking for a while about how im unfit to be you leader and how I have failed you all as a leader but"

"When I look at you I see the qualities of greatness I never had so" he grabbed Lucas shoulders "will you be the leader, not for me but for friends?"

Lucas stared at Vice, his eyes widen slightly and his jaw slacking then he spoke "yes"

Vice smiled and hugged Lucas "great and don't worry about me after all of this is done I'll turn everyone into celestial ratman and leave"

Lucas smiled hearing those words, Vice let go him and walked past the few tree that remained in front of the lake

As he stepped past the tree's, he saw the pink lady next to the rocky shoreline unconscious and three elves next to her with Gordon

The red eyed elf sat next to her with watery eyes, Vice ignored the elves and walked to Gordon with Lucas behind him

"Gordon go help the others we have unwanted guest" Gordons eyes widened as he turned to Vice

"What do mean?" Gordon spoke

"I mean go protect Freya or Scarlet don't know but go bef.." before he could finish Gordon ran past him clenching tight to his sword

He turned to the elves "whats her condition?"

"Her nerves were damaged it will take weeks for her to heal" the eyed elf did not bother to look at Vice as he spoke

"Why don't you give her a healing potion" Vice looked to the other elves

"We ran out of portions and scrolls centuries ago" one of the elves spoke

And Vice smiled hearing those words "then how much are you willing to pay for a portion?" As a bottle with red liquid appeared in his hand

The elves looked at each and nodded in agreement "are you stupid?" The red eyed elf spoke

"We will die if she's not healed soon" the bottle was snatched out of his hand by the red eyes elf
