Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?-Chapter 1530: Justicio’s Trial
-----
Aquarina set everything up, and now, it was all depending on Justicio and his will.
Would the boy be able to assimilate the powers of the bug-type materials and evolve his Physique and Aura with them?
It depended on him, on his resolve, of his mental strength, and also of his physical strength.
"I've set everything up," said Aquarina. "Now it's all up to you, Justicio. Sit down cross-legged, concentrate, breath in and out, and remain calm. Your Aura and your Body will begin to change, and it will be painful, but you must bear with it. Absorb the power, make it yours… And don't let it win."
"What happens if it wins?" Justicio asked.

"Probably nothing. But there's a small chance you'll either die… or become a monster," said Aquarina.
One of the side effects that Aquarina learned later about these kinds of rituals is that aside from actually just dying, there was another effect.
A dangerous one, a person could end up being overtaken by the materials and their essences and mutating into a half-monster creature.
Completely mad, they would rampage, destroy, and kill anything in their wake, having to be taken down forcefully.
"Hah… Alright then…"
Justicio was nervous, he couldn't really deny it, he clenched his fists tightly, he didn't move away or escape though.
"Okay, that's fine, let's do it."
"You sure?"
"Yes, please do it, Aquarina."
"Fine…"
Aquarina infused her mana and spirit energy into the entire formation, as all the runes activated, the nodes glowed brightly, and the materials rapidly became particles of light.
FLUOOOSH!
The particles of light moved towards Justicio one after another, combining with his body and his aura, combining with him, and trying to awaken something within his very being.
"Ugh…!"
He immediately felt a surge of pain all over his body, gritting his teeth tightly. He kept his eyes closed, feeling the essence of the insect monsters rushing through him.
He constantly kept trying to take on the power, making it flow through his body and soul, his aura, and assimilating it bit by bit.
However, the process was extremely slow, and it was beginning to lag behind, becoming increasingly more complex as well.
"Hahh… Ugh!"
He was constantly passing in and out of consciousness, as Justicio began seeing visions.
FLASH!
Until ultimately, he found himself within a completely black space.
There, Justicio faced a gigantic creature, a chimeric insectoid made up from the materials used for the ritual.
Its exoskeleton was even composed of the golden alloy of Orichalcum.
The massive insect, of eight arms, with a massive spider-like head and gigantic wings, glared at Justicio with its six crimson eyes.
It had a slightly humanoid appearance, making it even more unnerving to look at.
"W-What is this…?!" Justicio wondered, glaring at the monstrosity. "You're…? What's going on?!"
"SHYAAAAHH!"
The monstrous insect roared, hissing at him as it spread out its massive wings. Its body, of over thirty meters, charged towards him at lightning speed.
BBZZZTTT!
As it moved its wings, it reached Justicio in an instant, swinging its massive insectoid claws at him, unleashing a barrage of powerful blows.
"Ah!"
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
"Uuggh…! Argh!"
Justicio felt his entire body battered, thrown away and landing on a cold, black floor, rolling over it as he vomited blood.
"T-This is too real! What in the world is going on?!" he wondered. "Aquarina never told me about this… Is this something normal?"
He slowly tried to stand up, glaring at the creature slowly rushing towards him.
"Right!"
Justicio recalled something, something about Alchemy Spirits.
None of such things had appeared before though.
But could this thing be similar to that?
Some sort of artificial being, a spirit born from the materials through the ritual.
And now he's fighting it…
"Is this place my mind-"
BOOOM!
Before he could truly realize though, a massive beam of sunlight hit his body, sending him away while burning his skin.
"Uuggh…!"
He looked at his body and skin, calcinated, burning, agony spread through his entire being, as the massive bug reached him, hitting the floor with its massive legs.
CLAAASH!
Its six crimson eyes glanced at him well, its massive mandibles beginning to drool as they smelled the scent of roasted meat.
"Dammit, dammit, dammit!"
Justicio gritted his teeth as he glared at the monstrosity, it truly felt like he was going to die now.
Why did things turn out this way though?
Why him?
Why now?
Why like this?!
He couldn't help but question himself countless times.
Justicio's life hasn't been an easy one, not at all.
He had lived a life of struggle and of intensity, where he constantly trained and hunted sinc he was very young.
He fought and lived for his family and constantly struggled because of his family as well.
His father was a sickly man, unable to grow as strong as the rest of the members of the village.
And his mother was also someone not so strong, that had her Meridians permanently wounded in an accident, a battle against a powerful monster.
With half her Meridians broken, which were the pillars of her Physique, she lost a lot of her physical strength and became much weaker.
Her two parents, despite being so weak, loved him dearly, and raised him the best they could, even in these harsh lands ruled by monstrously strong beasts.
Honestly, the best they could do was escape, move out somewhere else…
He had suggested this to his parents many times, in fact, and even Svana had agreed it was a good idea.
However, his parents always rejected that idea, they were too prideful, they were raised as warriors despite everything and wanted to die as warriors of the tribe they loved.
This always filled Justicio with so much frustration, everything since the very beginning, and his parents' stubbornness to move to a much safer region…
What was the point of his hard work if they didn't want to move out?
All this time he had done everything for them…
Yet, they still didn't want his help!
What else could he do for them?!
Eventually, Justicio slowly changed.
He lost his motivation to work hard and hunt, and became lazy and unmotivated, always sleeping or lazing around, doing nothing productive.
And he thought his life would continue like this forever, until Aquarina appeared.
