Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?-Chapter 1566: Surprised By The Dungeon Floor Boss
-----
Khepri went a bit insane as she started telling the party to hurry up and find her damned ornament, something the group wasn't really thinking about at the moment as they explored the wonders of the dungeon for the first time. Well, mostly Silvia, Justicio, and Agua, who were new to the whole Dungeon Exploration which Aquarina seemed pretty experienced at already.
"It's downstairs! I can feel it! My ornament! The last one before I am finally completed!" Khepri said. "It's deep, deep down!"
"Okay calm down a bit Khepri, you're getting all creepy!" sighed Silvia, smacking the giant bug.
"Ouch! Hey don't be mean!" Khepri cried.
"S-Sorry, I can't control my strength too well…" Silvia apologized.
"I remember my mother talked about these stairs," said Agua. "I think she said that they scared the entire exploration team that came here due to a powerful aura they felt down below. And because it wasn't threatening anybody or moving, they decided to leave it behind and seal the path over here. Usually it would be impossible for anybody to get here without our special magic to bend the oasis and open the way like I've done."
"So there must be a dangerous monster downstairs, huh? I'm getting kind of pumped up now," Justicio smiled, crossing his arms. "Usually I hate work but if beating monsters can make me a bit stronger then I'm all up for it. I gotta earn a lot of money too, so I hope these corpses and what we get down there is valuable."
The moment Aquarina thought Justicio reminded her of Zack, he instantly began talking about stuff Zack would never say.
While Zack was someone one hundred percent dedicated to grow stronger and catch up with Sylphy and Aquarina, Justicio only cared about the wellbeing of his family through these means.
Meaning he grew stronger to improve the reputation of his family, and wanted to earn money, or well, valuable things to help them or maybe even to move out of the village altogether.
"There's something odd though, don't step into the stairs yet," Aquarina stopped them before they were to descend. "Usually every Dungeon Floor has a Boss at the end, it's like a Mini Boss of sorts, not as strong as the one we'll fight deep down, but strong nonetheless."
"But I don't see any monster around here," said Silvia, shrugging. "So there's no way there's anything for now, right?"
"Yeah, maybe the Dungeon is still young or something?" asked Justicio.
The two were carefreely stepping into the stairs.
FLUOSH!
And in that moment, Aquarina's eyes widened, as she felt a sudden, powerful Aura coming from…
The stairs themselves!
"Wait! Get back!"
Aquarina used her Abyssal Embodiment in a split second, stretching her Shadow Hands and grasping her friends and dragging them back to her seconds before the stairs were to suddenly warp around and snap!
CRAAASH!
As they snapped, they revealed their true shape, countless of fangs covered with stone-like shells, Silvia and Justicio began freaking out.
"W-What the hell is that thing?!" Silvia screamed.
"No way! The stair is a monster?!" Justicio cried.
"Oh wow that's new," Pyuku commented.
"How fascinating!" Agua said.
Aquarina ended dragging everyone several meters away from the stairs, as they began trembling, furious that they couldn't eat their prey.
The entire floor shook, as a massive block-shaped piece of the floor suddenly surfaced from the ground, revealing to everyone that they had been standing over the giant head of a monster this whole time.
"Wooaah!" Silvia screamed. "N-No way! No fucking way!"
"This is real?!" Justicio cried.
The two were naturally completely shocked, it was the first time they faced something so ridiculous. Well, the second if the Doppelganger Aliens could be included.
"GRYOOOHHHH!"
The creature screamed angrily, revealing its true shape, it was some sort of octopus, squid, and sea snail hybrid, with long, stone-covered tentacles, a giant block-like head made of shell camouflaging as the floor, and where the stairs were, it revealed it was actually a series of sharp teeth leading to its esophagus.
Its eyes were big, bulgy rainbow-colored eyes constantly releasing bright light at each side of its blocky head, and the tip of all its tentacles had spiral-shaped snail shells, the monster released a powerful Magica Aura, the Shell it possessed repelled magic and mana to an extent.
"It's a Floor Boss, alright," Aquarina smiled with fascination at the fifteen-meter-tall monstrosity. "It's huge!"
Ding!
[You have encountered the Floor 1 Dungeon Boss: [Giant Mollusk Floor Mimic King (Tier 8)]!]
[The [Giant Mollusk Floor Mimic King (Tier 8)] is capable of camouflaging around any dungeon surface and transform the shape of its body alongside possessing strong Illusion Magic! Be careful!]
"So it can create illusions, yeah I can tell, it made its whole act even more credible," said Aquarina. "The real stairs are right there!"
As she floated in midair, everyone noticed the real floor looked much older and cracked, rather than the strangely clean floor they were stepping over before.
Most people would've instantly died the moment they stepped into the stairs!
"I can tell why my mother was so scared of the stairs now…" said Agua. "It was a giant monster this entire time! And a strong one…! I can feel a powerful presence!"
"Yeah, it's Tier 8," Aquarina smiled. "It's a fine challenge! Maybe it can take a few hits just fine with all that shell it has… Nice! I'm going to beat the crap out of it for fooling us all!"
As Aquarina said, she jumped into action, leaving behind her friends as she held her daggers tightly!

"Aquarina's charging already?!" Justicio asked.
"S-She's like that I guess, she will probably never change," Silvia said.
"Come! I'm your opponent, huge-ass octopus mimic thing!" Aquarina smiled, swinging her daggers rapidly.
Upward slashes, downward cleaving attacks, to the left and right Aquarina's swarm of slashing attacks made out of her Abyssal Embodiment Aura engulfed the monster, who used its dozens of armored tentacles to intercept them and try to defend!
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Crack, crack…!
CRASH!
However, its armor began to rapidly break, as Aquarina's daggers sliced through the soft, muscular flesh beneath the shells, making the creature lose a couple of tentacles in an isntnat, as they were reduced to octopus sashimi.
