Others are conflicted, imprisoned for too long. They want to break the seal but refuse to be controlled by Alice, like Sha.

Consequently, Sha set two standards: sufficiently strong (close combat ability) and pleasing to the eye.

Su Xiao falls into the category of being strong but not very pleasing to the eye. However, he has a lot of introduction letters, annoying Sha to no end.

In exasperation, Sha chose to let Su Xiao in for a thrashing. Yet, after exchanging blows with Su Xiao, Sha inexplicably changed her mind and chose to negotiate with him; the exact reason is still unknown.

For instance, Su Xiao’s basic close combat ability, ’Sword Technique Master Lv.39,’ leans towards sword techniques. If he were to teach others in fist techniques, he’d be just as baffled.

Sha’s situation is similar; her ’Master of Close Combat (Passive Lv.67)’ is inclined towards fist techniques, unrelated to sword techniques.

In the Trial Field, learning skills in the Mirror Image was difficult, usually only enhancing already mastered skills; its main purpose was teaching combat techniques.
