REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 70: THE WAR

The day arrived where the supernatural beings would all be fighting for survival. This was the day everyone had been preparing for.

On the battlefield everyone that could fight were present, Ariana and Adrian asked Dylan to stay with Sophia and that should anything happen to them, he should protect her.

It was the same with Aaron, he stayed with Isabelle. They were the only four people in the huge house. All they could do was hope that everything would be okay and that their family could manage to come back.

Logan turned to his mate. "Did you see the outcome of the war?" Logan asked holding her hand.

"No!" She replied shaking her head.

"They must be playing with my blind spot." She added.

They scanned the area and surely everyone was present. The youngsters that could fight joined in. The only one who were left out were the elderly and the children.

"They’re here!" Tyler and Samantha said at the same time.

Samantha sensed them through the trees they passed and felt them through the ground.

"Stand on guard, they will be here soon." Aurelio said loudly for everyone to hear.

The army walked out of the shadows and showed themself. At first you could say that they were hideous, they were human, but they had been turned into some monsters.

The werewolves shifted into their wolves, the warlocks were ready, the vampires bared their fangs out.

The army came approaching and the war began. Adrian turned the sky dark; he was summoning the lighting.

The guy came to attack him, Adrian kicked him in the stomach, but the guy felt nothing. The guy clenched his fist and aimed at Adrian, the punch landed on Adrian jaw and Adrian flew and landed on the ground.

The punch held so much strength, Adrian stood up and touched his jaw, he fixed his jaw and rushed over kicking the guy in the stomach. The stood up immediately, it was as if the kick was a tickle to him.

Derek tried to reverse the time but found that it wasn’t working. Hunter looked at Ariana fighting and couldn’t help but to stare.

She was once his but now she wanted nothing to do with him, after that day, Ariana had made sure to torture him, afterwards she and the vampires all left.

The training had been left unfinished, and after that day, the warlocks refused to train with them. The whole pack had condemned him, after all he had been the one to start a conflict in the middle of the training.

The person that Hunter was battling with, looked at him in mockery. "You punch like a girl!" The guy teased before kicking Hunter.

Hunter fell onto the floor, before Hunter could get up the guy climbed on top of him and started punching. Bradley saw the scene and rushed to push the guy away.

Bradley helped Hunter to his feet. "Thanks!" Hunter spoke.

"The pack would have received a full training had it not been for you." Bradley grumbled and left.

Amelia and Logan fought in pairs, Logan was afraid that something would happen to her, so he wanted to keep her close by his side. Majority of the people that had their mates fight as well decided to keep their mates close by.

Ariana created an ice sword, and on the tip, she lit a fire and lunged it into the creature and the creature stumbled back, the creature held his chest in pain. He was shocked, the creature shook with anger and rushed with a clenched fist. The fist landed on Ariana’s stomach, which sent her flying in the air.

Adrian saw Ariana in the air, he rushed and jumped in the air catching her and landed on the floor with her in his arms.

Ariana got to her feet, and she created a fire ball in her hand and threw it on the creature. The creature looked to see his body on fire, and he turned to look at her.

"Do you think a small fire can stop me?" He mocked her as he approached her.

Ariana looked at the creature in shock, how were they supposed to defeat these creatures if they couldn’t fight them.

Some people were heavily injured, and they only managed to kill a few of the creatures. Ariana was battling a creature; she was unaware of the stare Hunter was sending to her. In his distraction a creature with a dagger aimed at him and was about to stab him.

"Hunter!" Ava called him and pushed him aside.

The dagger went into her stomach, Hunter looked back and found Ava with a dagger in her stomach.

"Ava!" He shouted and caught her.

"Hunter, you’re free now. Just look after my daughter okay." Ava said weakly.

"Ava, what are you saying you’re going to be fine." He said holding her in his arms.

"You might have forgotten the love we once shared, but I could never forget it." Ava said holding his face.

"It was your mistake by rejecting her, you should let her be happy with her new life." Ava said her voice becoming softer.

"It’s only this time when I’m dying that I realized how badly we treated her, it’s just now it is too late to make amends. Please ask her to forgive me if she can." Ava said closing her eyes.

"No, Ava nothing will happen to you." Hunter said and tried to heal her.

"It’s too late!" She said shaking her head.

"Make sure you survive this war. Our daughter will need you..." She said and closed her eyes for the last time.

Hunter held her body in his arms and screamed out in pain, he followed with a howl. The wolves sensed the death of their luna and lifted their heads and howled in sorrow.

Hunter thought of the way he had behaved with her and was disappointed in himself. He thought of all the times she would ask him to spend time together as a family, but he would brush her aside.

He gently laid her body down and his eyes went black, he shifted into his wolf. When Ava saved him, her body turned back to a human form. His body shook with anger, mixed with the emotion of losing his mate.

"Ariana, we have to use the formation now." Morgan came up to her saying.

"Adrian, Ivan blocks the attack while we prepare for it." Ariana asked them.

"Go ahead, don’t worry about anything just focus." Ivan replied.

While they prepared for the formation, several creatures tried to come and attack them, they wanted to stop the formation, but Ivan and Adrian stopped them.

The creatures saw that the formation would be fatal for them, from the moment that they started they could the energy coming from it.

"Seeing the way that the creatures are acting, this formation is fatal to them." Aurelio spoke when he noticed all the creatures leaving whoever they were fighting with, to go and stop the formation.

"Guys, we could use more help." Adriana called out to his family.

Everyone came and gathered around them, they had seen that they didn’t have a chance in winning, but now with this formation, there was hope. Their mission now was to ensure that this formation would be formed.

"It’s complete, Ariana your energy source really helped. Normally it is impossible for two people but with you it’s possible." Morgan spoke.

They released the formation, and the creatures started to run away in fear.

"Everyone, add your powers inside to make it stronger." Morgan said loudly to all the people that had powers.

They nodded and each person that had a power, added their power inside the formation and it grew bigger and brighter.

"Run!" The creatures said and started to run away.

"This formation is a combination of all the powers in the supernatural world. It is strong enough to wipe them all out." Amelia said looking at the way they were running from it.

"Rosemary, do your thing." Samantha said and used vines to stop them from running.

The vines wrapped around their legs, making them unable to move. Rosemary twisted her neck and turned her head to the side.

The creatures all groaned out in pain, they had never felt anything like that before.

Everything came to an end; the creatures were all defeated.

"Ariana!" Hunter came calling for her.

"You’re looking for death." Adrian said stepping in front of his mate.

"No, I wanted to apologize from what I did." Hunter spoke.

"I cannot accept this apology, I don’t know what will happen next." Ariana spoke.

"Ava, she wanted to apologize to you for everything she did. In her final moment she really regrets what she did before." Hunter spoke.

"Where is she?" Ariana asked.

Hunter pointed and they walked to where her body was laying.

Ariana walked closer and squatted down, she grabbed her wrist and checked the pulse.

Ariana felt Ava’s pulse, but it was very weak.

"She’s not dead!" Ariana spoke.
