Chapter 152: About decisions

"Can you make a promise to me?" Hannah whispered.

"What?"

"Don’t commit crimes again, learn to accept defeat, then rise again. That’s life... That’s how to be calm, peaceful... never force something that belongs to someone else to be yours," Hannah said anxiously. "Just... do anything that won’t land you in jail again. I know you’re a good man... I don’t want you to end up in jail," she continued.

Samuel smiled and nodded, but his eyes still couldn’t hide his disappointment.

Hannah pulled him and hugged him for a moment, then let him go. The woman cried, feeling so guilty for not giving him a chance when he was about to become better for her.

"You can go back to him if you want," Hans said, coming behind Hannah.

Hannah immediately wiped her tears.

"Sorry, I overheard your conversation... but I believe this time he’s serious about changing, I’m sure he wouldn’t want to risk committing a crime," Hans said again.

"Then would you be happy if I went back to him?" Hannah asked.

Hans fell silent immediately, unable to give that answer. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

"I can’t live with a man I don’t love... That’s my final decision," Hannah said again.

"In that case, you’ll marry the man you love," replied Hans, pushing the wheelchair again.

"I’m not sure there is a man who loves me. Samuel’s previous attitude has weakened my confidence."

"Don’t say that, you are beautiful and independent, anyone would like a woman like that."

Hannah just stayed silent with a thin smile, glancing at Hans’s hand and pushing the wheelchair. ’Actually, that man is you, but I won’t chase you. I don’t want to be a love pursuer again... It’s embarrassing and demeaning,’ she thought.

...

In the mansion, Valerie was busy arranging books and school supplies for Daniel while Damian was bathing him. After that, he switched to preparing clothes consisting of light blue pants, a white t-shirt, a blue jacket, and black and white shoes, then placed them on the bed.

"Now, get dressed, we’re almost late!" Damian exclaimed while carrying Daniel out of the bathroom wearing a mini white bathrobe.

Daniel smiled when he saw his mother waiting on the bed.

"Mama!"

"Hey... Let’s get you dressed," Valerie said, welcoming Daniel who sat beside her, then took off his bathrobe and applied some oil and powder to his body to make him smell like a little boy.

"Mama, I don’t want to wear diapers anymore, I’m a big boy now, I’ll be a big brother!" Daniel exclaimed when his mother was about to put diapers on him.

Valerie furrowed her brows. "Are you sure?"

Daniel nodded.

"Son, you don’t need to wear diapers at home, but at school, you have to wear them... It’s just in case you can’t hold it to pee in the bathroom," Damian said, wearing only white shorts with black stripes.

"I don’t want to!"

"If you wet yourself at school, then your pants will get wet or even the floor will get wet... You’ll be embarrassed in front of your friends, they will tease you!"

"I won’t wet myself, I’ll pee in the bathroom, Miss Teacher will take me to the bathroom!" Daniel asserted. "You have to trust me, Daddy!"

Valerie chuckled, seeing Daniel being so firm with his father.

"I’m not sure." Damian shook his head.

Daniel grabbed the diapers and threw them at Damian’s chest. "Then you wear diapers instead... Maybe you’ll wet yourself!"

"What?" Damian furrowed his brows, taking the diapers and looking at Daniel seriously.

Daniel was a bit scared, immediately sitting on his mother’s lap, slightly closing his legs to hide his little bird, but his gaze remained fixed on his father.

"Let him not wear diapers anymore, it’s a good thing," Valerie said calmly, then kissed Daniel’s slightly wet head. "If he accidentally pees in his pants, then he’ll change. I’ll bring spare clothes just in case, I’ll talk to his teacher later," she continued.

"Alright... You have to prove that you won’t pee in your pants!" Damian stared at Daniel with horror, leaning down and getting close to his face. "If you can, I’ll give you a reward!" he said with a smile.

Daniel immediately smiled, realizing that his father wasn’t angry with him. He quickly got off his mother’s lap, then cuddled up to his father, and of course, talked about the reward.

After finishing putting on clothes and shoes, and then combing his hair neatly, Damian took Daniel out of the room carrying a bag, while Valerie walked behind him.

"I didn’t come to breakfast," Valerie said.

Damian frowned and immediately turned to Valerie who stopped near the top of the stairs, while Daniel went down alone.

"Why?"

"I’m not hungry."

"Are you not feeling well?"

"No... I’m fine, I just ..." Valerie shook her head.

Damian immediately approached Valerie, looking at her intently.

"I won’t take him to kindergarten, Let him be taken by Gustave or Jimmy," he said.

"Why?"

"Because you’re not okay." Damian put his arm around Valerie and looked at her deeply. "We’re going to the hospital."

"Damian, don’t overdo it, I’m fine..." Valerie let go of Damian’s embrace. "I don’t have an appetite doesn’t mean I’m sick!"

"Uhum ...then what’s the cause, you have to tell me!"

Damian embraced Valerie again until their stomachs met.

Valerie chuckled, feeling funny about their stomachs, especially Damian’s stomach which didn’t look as strong anymore since after being sick.

"You’re pregnant too," she said.

"Uh...I’ve been lazy about exercising lately," Damian replied."Besides, my stomach is still very vulnerable..."

"Then accompany me to yoga...I’m going to an instructor’s place...There are several pregnant women and their husbands who will also do yoga there," she said.

"It looks fun... But ..." Damian looked worried.

"What?".

"I don’t like my sexy wife being seen by other men," said Damian. "Yoga clothes are tight and make your body look more beautiful..."

"Mom, Dad!"

Their attention turned to Daniel who was screaming on the ground floor.

"I don’t want to eat breakfast alone!" Daniel exclaimed.

"Oh damn!" Damian exhaled roughly. "This brat is a bit stubborn and spoiled recently."

Valerie chuckled.

"Actually he is your photocopy, so don’t complain," she said.

"Then let’s have breakfast together..." Damian grabbed Valerie’s hand, forcing her to come down the stairs very carefully. "Starting tomorrow, I think you should just move your room to the ground floor... I’m sure you will spend a lot of energy climbing the stairs with a big belly... And I’m afraid something like Hannah will happen," he added.

"She’ll be back from the hospital this morning... Looks like I should make a welcome," Valerie replied.

Damian was silent, suddenly remembering Samuel, who had been free two days ago. He wondered whether Hannah would take him back, and that made him think about Hans being the one who looked Interested in Hannah.
