Return With the Billionaire Baby Daddy-Chapter 49: Go to Korea with him
One week had passed...
Valerie was in the boarding lounge, awaiting the departure of the plane that would take her to Korea with Daniel and Sandy.
"I actually like Korea, I really want to go there," Adriana said with a sad expression. "Unfortunately, Eduardo hasn’t recovered yet..."
"It’s fine... You can go there with him when he’s healthy," Valerie replied, looking elegant in a black outfit and gray jacket, while Daniel was carried by Sandy, near the glass wall to see the outside scenery.
Adriana sighed, seemingly trying to accept the reality.
"Valerie..."
Valerie turned to Sandy approaching her.
"We need to board the plane now."
"Oh, okay..." Valerie hugged Adriana. "Pray that I can arrive and return safely."
"Yes, of course. I wish you the best..." Adriana released her embrace, then turned to kiss Daniel. She let them walk towards the airport exit with other passengers.
’If Damian were your husband, he would surely take care of you, not let you travel alone with Daniel... He would make everything easier,’ she thought sadly, then sighed and quickly left the airport.

Upon arriving on the plane, Valerie and Sandy walked towards their seats as indicated on the ticket. They were surprised when a woman was sitting in Valerie’s assigned seat.
"Um..." Valerie looked at the woman awkwardly. "Ma’am... Sorry, but... You shouldn’t be sitting here." She said nervously.
"But this is the seat with the corresponding number on my ticket," the woman replied.
"But, Ma’am..."
"Miss Dominguez."
Valerie and others immediately turned to the flight attendant in a blue uniform approaching them.
"Sorry, but why is she sitting in the chair that I should be sitting in? Shouldn’t this be my chair?" Valerie wondered.
"There might be a misunderstanding that your ticket has been upgraded. So, this seat belongs to this lady now," the flight attendant replied calmly.
Valerie furrowed her brows. "Upgraded?"
"Yes, your ticket has been upgraded since this morning."
"Then where am I supposed to sit? Why wasn’t there any notification?"
"Let me show you; this also applies to your baby."
Valerie looked at Sandy in confusion.
"Just follow the flight attendant’s instructions," Sandy said, handing Daniel to Valerie. "Besides, I still have to sit here. Hopefully, your new seat is comfortable enough for you," he continued with a smile, then sat next to the woman.
Valerie sighed heavily, immediately following the flight attendant through the cabin among the passengers lined up from back to front. Daniel remained silent, looking around while occasionally glancing at his mother, who continued walking following the flight attendant until they stopped in the first-class area that could accommodate three people, complete with facilities, especially the large seats suitable for a mother and baby to sleep, and to her surprise, Damian was in the seat next to hers.
"Is this all your doing?" she asked, looking annoyed.
"I’m just doing my best for our son," Damian replied, approaching Valerie and trying to take Daniel.
Valerie stepped back. "No!"
Damian furrowed his brows.
"I’ll call the woman who was in my previous seat. Let her be with you here," Valerie said, turning away.
"No!" Damian immediately pulled her arm. "You can’t do that. Don’t be selfish just to avoid me!" he insisted, forcefully taking Daniel.
Valerie couldn’t hold on to Daniel. She stared at Damian with frustration now.
"What do you really want? Why won’t you let me have peace?" she asked.
"I’m trying to make you and Daniel comfortable!" Damian exclaimed with a little voice, cradling Daniel, who seemed comfortable with him. "We’ll be on a long flight, and it’s not easy for Daniel. Of course, he needs a comfortable place rather than an economy seat. You’ll also gradually be overwhelmed taking care of him there... So, isn’t it better here? Why sit there when there’s a place available for you here?"
Valerie fell silent, turning her face away.
"Okay... You can go back to your previous seat and ask that woman to move here. But Daniel will be with me," Damian said, immediately inviting Daniel to sit in his spacious seat facing a folding table and an LCD screen equipped with headphones.
Valerie remained silent, looking at Daniel, who looked at her as if full of hope.
"Mama," Daniel whispered.
"Miss Dominguez," the flight attendant called. "You should sit down as the plane will take off soon," she continued.
"Okay..." Valerie sighed heavily, sitting next to Damian but not looking at him at all, as if reluctantly agreeing to sit there.
"Isn’t this better?" Damian asked.
Valerie remained silent.
"Okay, you don’t want to talk, that’s fine. Let’s see how long you can go without talking to me," Damian said with a smile, then fastened his seatbelt along with Daniel.
"Honey, do you want to watch cartoons or animated movies?" he asked, turning on the LCD, with menus available for listening to music, reading, or watching the movies provided.
Daniel just stayed silent, looking at the LCD.
"All right, let’s watch ’The Incredibles.’ It will entertain you," Damian said with a smile, occasionally bending down to kiss Daniel’s cheek.
"Baby..." Daniel focused on the LCD screen displaying the movie.
"That baby is amazing; he has superpowers like his mom and dad, as well as his brother and sister," Damian explained.
"What’s a sister?"
"Um, a sister is another child of a mother. If a baby girl is born before you, she will be called an older sister, but if you are born before her, you will be called an older brother, and she will be called a younger sister."
"Uh... I want a sister... baby..."
"Someday, when Mama and Dada are married," Damian said, making Valerie turn to him immediately.
"Don’t let my son hope for something we can’t give!" Valerie exclaimed with furrowed brows, frustration evident on her face.
"Your son is my son too, and I’ll give him anything he wants, including a baby sister," Damian replied casually.
"Oh, you’re insane!"
"The insane one is if I give him a step-sister, you would be very upset."
Valerie immediately sneered.
"I know you still want me, have hope for our future... It’s just that you’re too proud to admit it, but it’s okay; I understand that," Damian said, looking ahead. "I’m fighting for our future, but I can’t keep my distance from you... I want to be there for Daniel always... That’s my duties ."
Valerie sighed heavily, as if suffocated by the situation. She remained silent the entire time, occasionally glancing at Daniel, who was absorbed in watching the movie in Damian’s lap.
"Why don’t you watch a movie or listen to music?" Damian suggested.
"I’m not in the mood!" Valerie replied curtly.
"Okay..."
"Why do you even know I’m leaving?" Valerie asked.
"Because I know; I monitor the platform where you write, and I know you won and there it is written that the winner will get $10k, and a trip to Korea," Damian replied casually. ’But actually, it’s all because of Hannah. She is a good spy."
