Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 130: NOSE BLEED
"Asis whoever you are waiting for isn’t coming." Sean said worriedly as he stared at the little boy’s lone and lanky figure standing alone staring at a particular direction.
Seeing that he got no response from Asis, Sean jumped down from the tree with about 3 apples in his arms, "At least sit down or take an apple, you can’t starve yourself, we’ve been here since dawn and it is almost sunset." Sean said gently, he did not want to trigger Asis in the process but instead of an argument like he was expecting Asis sighed looking at the apple then at Sean face, "No need, let’s just head back." He said unable to hide the disappointment in his voice.
What was he thinking, Asis wondered to himself, Even his own parents abandoned him yet he believed that he had found someone he could call a friend just after one meeting.
Silva had showed him his real father once, when Asis grew up and noticed that Silva really did not have any sentiments towards him, he had gathered the courage and asked Silva if he was truly his father and Silva response at that time was, "How can I be the father to a worthless thing like you, even your own parents did not want you and dumped you on me, if I known I should have aided their plans in killing you off, so yes I saved your life you little bastard so you are forever indebted to me." Silva said puffing smoke onto 6 year old Asis face.
"Do you know where my parents are?" Asis remembered asking, he wanted to be sure that his parent did not want him and there was no other reason to them leaving him with Silva, "I would be more than happy to." Silva smirked.
The next day, Silva indeed showed Asis Damon and Amelia who were shopping happily together at least Silva made it seem so even though the cold wat between them was very evident.
"See they don’t even care that you are gone." Silva said breaking the young child heart even more and ever since then Asis had never asked about his parents and even switched off his feelings so he would not be hurt or bothered about anything anymore but seeing the little girl’s bright smile yesterday made him think there was something more to life and maybe he just had not found it yet.
Before Sean could think of any word of encouragement, Asis had already turned around walking away briskly, "Hey wait up." Sean called out running to catch up with Asis.
"Hey! Asis!!" Sean furrowed his brows when he heard a little girl’s voice call out to Asis, maybe it was not the same Asis he knew but to his surprise Asis turned around looking kind of happy, the gloomy look on his face was gone.
Okay what the hell is going on, Sean wondered in his heart as this was the first time he had seen Asis look happy since he knew the little fella, turning to look at him again so as to confirm what he saw, Sean noticed that his face was already back to normal making it look like the happy face was all in his imagination.
"Asis, sorry for making you wait for so long, I had to trick my Godmother to get here." Adara chuckled while trying to catch her breath as it seemed like she ran all the way over to the meeting point.
"No need I did not wait for long." Asis said with a soft smile on his face as he stared at the girl’s flushed face.
Hearing Asis say that he did not wait for long made Sean jaw almost drop to the floor as he was confused at what the hell was going on.
"Next time no need to trick anyone, your family would be worried, it would have been better if you did not show up." Asis scolded Adara lightly while she nodding happily making her pigtail bounce in accordance.
"Who are you and what is your name?" Sean asked the little girl knowing that she was the best shot at knowing what was going as he knew his dear friend Asis would not pay any attention to him.
"My name is Adara." She introduced smiling brightly purposely withholding her surname so as not to chance them away if they found out her dad was the devil.
Sean felt his heart move in a way it had never moved in 15 years of his life seeing Adara’s smile, he was too dazed to reply to her introduction.
Seeing Sean’s dazed face, Asis felt this protective instinct kick in, "Why the hell are you staring like that?" He cursed with a cold glare directed at Sean who cleared his throat in embarrassment.
"Don’t say that to anyone it is not suitable for little girls." Asis addressed Adara after noticing that he had cursed but Adara just nodded throwing a shy glance at Sean.
"Your names..." Sean said pausing for a bit causing the two children to turn their attention to him fully, "Your names means fire and ice." He said with an awkward smile, "Ohhh, nice, seems we are meant to be friends then." Adara winked cutely at Asis but in the end, Sean ended up having a bleeding nose.
"What’s your friend’s name though?" Adara asked tilting her head after they had managed to get Sean bleeding to stop, "Not important." Asis said coldly, "Don’t mind him, my name is Sean, nice to meet you Adara." Sean introduced despite Asis death glares.
"Nice to meet you too." Adara beamed happily but Sean turned away embarrassed, he did not want to end up gettibg another nose bleed.
"Shit!!" Sean cursed standing up abruptly from the stone ground that they all sat now, "Reduce your curses dumbass." Asis frowned feeling that Sean was being insensitive to the fact that a little girl was with them.
"Sorry about that but Asis, Silva would be home soon." Without waiting for Asis respond he grabbed him by the wrists pulling him up, "Goodbye, Adara we would see you later but for now we have to go." Sean said running off with Asis, he was a vampire so naturally he was very fast.
