Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 169: OVERWHELMED BY DARKNESS

Damon kept on battling with Max while struggling it was probably because of the poison that has been suppressing him for long that limited his power.

"Brother, I really did not want to harm you, but seeing you gain all those gummy emotions just because of that woman, I couldn’t help myself, you were not trained like this, and since you have decided to stray away from your training I don’t mind finishing you off and taking your place as the devil, you don’t deserve it." Max said with hatred in his voice, he hated the fact that Amelia or should he say Ophelia came into their lives, if it weren’t for her then none of this would have happened, his brother would still be the man he always looked up too and their family would be perfect.

"You do know she is our mate?" Damon asked in a monotone voice, his goal was to spring out guilt from within Max but he was far too gone to be brought back.

"And so what? I think that curse is trash and bullshiting, I have never felt an ounce of emotion towards that woman, you think a mate’s bound is something that you can surpress that easily? Leviton never felt it too, Duane and even Silva, he just wants to use her to unlock his full potentials, you were the only one that was blinded by this darn thing." Before Max could move an inch, The black figure with horse legs and a pair of black wings squinted at him dangerously, "Where do you think you’re going to?" The figure voice thundered causing everyone to halt, seeing the creature, panic broke out on the battle field as everyone tried to look for where to hid their selves and save them from the burning wild fire.

"Da... Mon, let’s not get to hasty." Max stuttered as he was unknowingly overwhelmed by fear.

"Oh? Now you want me to be gentle." Damon said looking at Max like he was a piece of junk, his cold golden eyes hardened with hate as his horns grew even longer, and without hesitation, he let himself drop from the sky on top of Max with full force.

It was too fast for anyone to have a reaction and before Max could make a move, his body was divided into two with blood gushing into the bigger dent Damon created on the earth when he landed.

Bending down, he dipped his hands into Max’s chest ripping his heart out with his sharp long nails, "Good bye little brother." Damon said in a voice that sent chills to anyone who was listening.

The mission was complete now, everyone expected that Damon wouldd be back since Max was gone already and there was no coming back but they were so wrong.

Instead the creature laughed out loud, throwing his head backwards, "At long last." It said placing his hands on his face, "I am finally put of that hell hole." The creature said laughing even more and it sounded crazy.

"So what’s new." The creature looked around spotting the warriors whom were once battling with themselves hiding together behind a tree hoping that they won’t be found.

"Dinner is served." The creature smirked and flew swiftly to their place and before they could blink their eyes, a couple of heads were on the floor with blood spilling out of their necks, screams of horror emanated, it was just like what happened so many years ago, a terror that people of the underworld would never forget, it was the night that Ophelia passed away.

"Oh my dear little ones don’t run you would just make me mad." The creature said coldly, catching a certain soldier squeezing him tight till he exploded right in it’s arms.

Adara and Sean’s glare off was cut shut by the commotion outside, "What could be going on?" Adara askked out loud and tried to come out of the covering that they were in, but before she could move, Sean dragged her behind him and gave her a signal that she should stay put he would go and check, he did not want her putting her life at risk.

"There is a creature roaming about." Sean announced after going out to check and returning swiftly with worry evident on his face, just now he wasn’t sure if the creature had seen him.

"A creature? Where is my dad?" Adara asked confused want could have happened within how many seconds.
