RISE OF EROS-Chapter 654 - 563
As the demigods, accompanied by Zaros and Elidyr, traveled to the dragons’ territory, special visitors arrived before them. It was a group of 3 people, but they were anything but ordinary.
The dragons were surprised to see them, as their characteristics were quite well-known, but their race was presumed extinct even more than the dragons before revealing themselves to the world.
They were three old men dressed in white robes and despite their gray hair, their hair seemed more silver than white. On the crowns of their heads were luminous auroras and on their backs were a few pairs of white wings.
These were the winged race or as they were known millennia ago, angels. If dragons and light elves like Arion were considered the ultimate races, this was in the mortal world, as angels were considered messengers of the gods.
The reasons were just, as angels were not only loved by divinity, but by nature itself and they were powerful. Everyone knew the strength of the dragons and the light elves, but it was the angels who were closest to the divine realm.
At their arrival, the dragons became alert. While the angels had been allies in the war and were powerful, the dragons were wary of them, as they were presumed extinct and the fact that they appeared at this time was strange.
With all the things that were happening, the dragons were suspicious of the angels, due to their inaction. Also, there was another matter and it was the remnants of the fallen god.
The gods had entrusted the remnants of the fallen god to the dragons, not the angels, which was strange. If they still existed, it was preferable to leave the custody of these dangers to them.
Despite their vigilance, they did not attack. They were unaware of their intentions and although they showed up in the dragons’ territory without announcement or invitation, they had not done anything to harm them, so they could not simply attack.
The angels did not say or do anything when they appeared. They just stood in the square of the dragon village in silence. Their attitude seemed provocative, despite their kind expressions.

However, before any dragon approached to speak to them, a majestic and authoritative voice was heard from within the village, "Let them pass". It was the voice of the dragon ancestor, so no one dared to disobey. The three elders walked towards the place where the voice was heard at a calm pace and without boasting.
They arrived at a house in poor condition but in good condition. It was much larger than the other houses, but in terms of appearance, it was much more humble.
The three angels entered the house without fear and there they met the dragon ancestor. The three angels looked at the old dragon and two of them who despite their advanced age were younger than the one leading them.
"Samanuel, as I assumed, you were alive," the dragon ancestor said in a calm tone as he looked at the leader of the angels. The angel named Samanuel looked at the old dragon and smilingly said, "I figured I couldn’t fool you, Crhono."
The old dragon smiled and replied, "Do you know that there are very few who can call me by my name?" to which Samanuel replied, "I know. I am one of the few left". Then the two elders laughed quietly, creating a strange atmosphere. The other two angels accompanying Samanuel remained silent, but their expressions were tense.
Crhono had noticed this, but he didn’t say anything and just looked at Samanuel. After laughing, Crhono asked, "What made you leave your nest?" which seemed to annoy Samanuel’s companions.
For his part, Samanuel was calm, even laughed at the question, and replied, "The same reason made you leave your cave." The two elders were no longer laughing. They were looking at each other with some animosity.
The tension grew, but Samanuel did not continue with that and said, "Let us not play this way. You know very well why we have come," to which Crhono said, "So you are here for the god candidate."
"You should inform us of him. It is imperative that we see him," said Samanuel, but Crhono did not seem to agree with him. "You disappear for centuries and appear demanding things," said Crhono in a dismissive tone.
"There is no need for a fight right now. You understand our situations," Samanuel said and Crhono replied, "Certainly, I can understand. What bothers me is that you only appear now."
"You know very well that just like the dragons we had to hide," Samanuel said, but Crhono did not believe his story and replied, "You are wrong. We dragons went underground because we needed to protect the seals, but what about you?"
This comment made the faces of the three angels darken and one of Samanuel’s companions got upset and started ranting, "Lizard, don’t believe that alone. Obey or…"
At the angel’s outburst, Samanuel became worried and Crhono looked at him with contempt and said, "You should control your dog or I might die." A powerful aura seeped out of Crhono’s body, causing Samanuel’s two accompanying angels to tremble.
Like Arion, Samanuel is one of the most powerful demigods on the continent. Many may consider him dead, but being alive, his level is on par with Arion and Crhono.
Samanuel had to raise his power to protect his companion or he would truly die. It wasn’t that Samanuel’s companions were weak, but in front of the thousand-year-old dragon, they were like fish on a chopping board.
"Calm down Crhono, they’re just impulsive, they don’t want to offend," Samanuel said trying to calm the situation. The angel who had spoken a few seconds ago was trembling with fear.
The intensity of Crhono’s power and killing intent was no joke and even with his strength, the angel understood that only one move would be enough to take his life. The tensions even at the highest level generated silence.
The release of their auras alerted the dragons who prepared for a battle, but in the end, it didn’t break out. "What is your objective?" Crhono asked, focusing his gaze on Samanuel.
His gaze was now different. His eyes had turned into sharp, yellow pupils, proving that Crhono was not playing around. Samanuel, seeing this, also became serious.
"Purgatory and Carcom are a threat. We need to find a god candidate and train him," Samanuel replied, and before Crhono could say anything he added, "Things are different than a thousand years ago, we need to be prepared."
"Your words sound fair as always, but you have the nerve to lie in front of me," Crhono said with a dangerous tone. Samanuel knew that such an obvious lie would be detected. A dragon’s eyes were no joke, especially Crhono’s. He hadn’t lived so long in vain. While his power might be on par with Arion and Samanuel, the reality was different, only no one knew.
Crhono never stopped getting stronger. His power was by far the most powerful on the continent, but everyone believed that he was still on par with Arion and Samanuel, although no one knew that they were alive.
Samanuel shuddered because his eyes were not normal either and quickly, he could see that Crhono was much more powerful than him. His surprise was not small, because he had not relaxed in these thousand years either, but his power had stagnated.
