As Raphael stepped into his room, he vomited a mouthful amount of blood. He grabbed onto his clothes as more blood continued to sip out of his mouth.

Gus glared at Raphael throughout the entire time, and as he brought out a blue pill from his storage ring, Gus couldn't help but roll its eyes at him.

Once the blue pill was swallowed, Raphael stood up straight with a faint smile on his face. "I want that mist." He said.

Those who had encountered that mist and managed to survive it would swear that they didn't want to ever come across it, but not Raphael.

He found the destructive property of the green mist very alluring.

"If it will make us leave the mansion, then why not," Gus spoke.

Upon hearing Gus, Raphael knitted his brows. He didn't respond and instead chose to head over to the table in his room.

"What is it? It can't be that you intend to go after the beast while not leaving the mansion." Gus landed on the table and then glared at Raphael.

When it came to creativity, Gus didn't doubt Raphael's capability. It would only take me a few hours or a day to come out with something for that beast.

"You need to go after the beast yourself, Raphael! Do not try to create a gadget for it." Gus exclaimed.

A smile couldn't help but appear on Raphael's face, as he heard Gus. If he said he hadn't considered creating a weapon to deal with the beast while he was in the mansion, then he would be lying.

"I don't have time to create a weapon for the beast, I will go look for it myself," Raphael said with his eyes glued to the book in front of him.

"I won't believe you until you step out of the mansion," Gus said.

"And in case you have forgotten, we have a lot of plans for this plan, and none of them have been achieved. When are you going to start making the moves like you intended?" Gus asked.

Raphael didn't respond to Gus, his eyes remained on the book in front of him, but as the blue owl turned over the pages of the book, the look on his face changed.

"When are we leaving this place?" Gus asked, but this time around, his voice became cold.

"When we are already," Raphael replied and opened the page of the book

It was barely up to a second after he opened the page of the book, and Gus closed it. There was a deep frown on Gus's face as it made contact with Raphael's eyes.

Seeing Gus and the look on its face, Raphael shook his head.

"There are still a lot of things we don't know about these places and the beast here. So far, only a few pieces of information have been given out by the drones, and before we can begin our plan, we need to know everything about them."

"After all, it's not just about creating a shop in the city, we are planning a takeover. I don't want to make any mistakes, so I will only set out once I have everything prepared." Raphael said.

As the expression on Gus's face remained the same after he spoke, Raphael's lips opened slightly. He was about to add to what had already been said when Gus's voice rang out.

"I have already done my research around the city. Even though I wasn't able to cover everything, I was able to cover more than half of it." Gus said.

"There's already a place where the shop can be created, and the movement around there is suitable. The beasts want 100 contribution points from you every week to keep that place running, but I was able to negotiate it to 40 contribution points.

When it came to dealing with the metahumans who were inside the city, the beast was rather very cruel to them. However, even though their hate for them was to the bone, they were instances where they had to trade with them.

Just as the academy made the metahumans in the city depend on the beast, they also made the beast depend on the humans as well.

"They are two A-rank beasts in that region, but they won't be of any problem, as I have already spoken to them. As for the materials and other preparation that will be needed in the shop, I already have them arranged.

"So, tell me what else are you still waiting for?" Gus asked.

It didn't seem like the owl was going to take a no for an answer from Raphael, and as Raphael stared at the owl in front of him, there was an expression of disbelief written all over his face.

Raphael's eyebrows furrowed, and he said, "When did you make all this arrangement and why didn't you tell me about it?"

"A long time ago! This has always been the time, but someone seems to forget about it." Gus said.

"Why didn't you say that you've made preparations for the plan already, if I had known, there won't have been any need for sending those drones out." Raphael naturally acted as though he didn't hear the underlying meaning of what Gus said.

"I assumed you would get back to your senses, but you didn't," Gus replied instantly after Raphael spoke.

"I even thought that when she left, you would finally focus and get things done, but you still didn't. You were a mess when she was here, and now that she's gone, you're still a mess."

There were perhaps only a handful of people who Raphael was familiar with and could talk to him this way, and with no doubt, Gus was one of them. It stared at Raphael without a bit of fear present in its eyes.

Gus believed that if there was someone capable of talking some sense into Raphael, then he was the right person for the job.

Raphael stared at the owl glaring with at him with mockery written all over its face and then heaved a deep breath. "I guess you're right. I have been slacking a lot these days."

"It's time to get over her disappearance and move on with life." Said Raphael.

A nod came from Gus as soon as Raphael spoke. "Yes, it's not like she's dead or something, you can still make things right with her. And if you can't, you just have to accept that she wasn't yours to begin with."

The expression on Raphael's face changed as he heard Gus. He didn't hide how displeased he was about what Gus said, however, upon seeing the look on his face, a chuckle escaped Gus about, and it said.

"It can't be that you're upset, it was partly your fault, Raphael. Even though the end result would have been the same, she should have heard from you first."

"Well, now that she's gone, we can focus on what is necessary."

"Enough Gus. We will leave for the city tomorrow." Raphael said.
