As the beasts and humans in the surrounding saw the youth with a bow and arrow, they instinctively took a step backward

The battle was halted immediately, and both beasts and humans fixed their eyes on the youth before them.

Who hadn't heard of this youth in the city? The black bow, the golden arrow, and the man always cladded in black, his ruthlessness was like nothing ever seen and whether it was human or beast, he destroyed anyone who obstructed his path.

"D-Dwayne… What are you doing here?" Someone asked the question that was on everyone's mind.

Dwayne looked at the person who spoke. "I'm here for the same reason you're here." He replied, moving his gaze to the building.

Meanwhile, the beasts and humans exchanged looks when they heard Dwayne. At first, they wondered if they had misheard, but the serious expression on his face dispelled that notion.

As Dwayne began to move, the beasts and humans gave way for him immediately. They lowered their heads as he walked past them, and as he slowly approached the building, a slight frown appeared on the beasts and human faces. 𝓫ℯ𝓭𝓃𝓸𝓋ℯ𝓁.𝓬𝓸𝓂

"Are you just going to let him go?"

Both beasts and humans looked at the person who had just spoken. "Why don't you go stop him, we are right at your back." A beast spoke with a sinister grin on his face.

The man shrugged his shoulder. "If there's something that woman told us, then it's that we shouldn't ever be afraid to make a move." He said, and after taking a deep breath, he walked forward.

"Hey, Dwayne!"

Dwayne didn't stop, nor did he respond. He continued to walk towards the buildings, but as a gust of wind wrapped in front of him, he abruptly paused.

He slowly turned towards the man who seemed to have conjured the wind and spoke. "Do you have a death wish?"

"It's you who must have a death wish," The man replied, "You can't just come here and act like you own the place. If you want to walk into the building, you have to earn it."

Dwayne's lips curled inwardly after the man spoke. "Oh really." He shifted his bow to his right hand.

The man steadied, determined not to show any fear. He turned towards the beasts and humans on his side to see if they would offer a helping hand, but as they took their gaze from him, he sneered.

"A lot of people have died to earn that spot, you can't just walk your way to the building all because people fear you, and you're one of the students in the elite division."

"That's unaccep-" Before the man would complete his words, an arrow penetrated into his body.

He slowly moved his gaze to his chest, which had just been punctured, and he vomited a mouthful of blood. The hole in his chest continued to expand rapidly after the shot and before he could even comprehend what was happening, a massive hole had formed in his chest.

The expression on his face was filled with disbelief and in a rather slow motion, he went on his knees before then stumbling to the ground.

Dwayne soon swept his gaze to the beasts and humans in the surrounding. "Is there anyone who thinks it's unacceptable for me to go to the building?" Dwayne asked, tightening his grip on his bow.

As the beasts and humans lowered their heads immediately after he spoke, Dwayne sneered. "I thought as much," Dwayne said and then walked further to the building.

Not a single word left the mouth of the people in the surrounding, they simply watched as Dwayne made his way Into the building. And once he was no longer in sight, they simultaneously heaved a deep breath.

"Wheww… That was scary." One of the beasts who had stood close to Dwayne as he shot that arrow spoke.

"I will kill him one day!' Another beast stated, and as the people in the area heard him, they burst into laughter. The laughter came from both beasts and humans, and it reverberated through the area that even Gus, who was watching from the distance, couldn't help but wonder what was happening.

One minute they were killing each other, and the next minute they seemed to be close friends.

After a few minutes of mockery, the laughter died down, and as both sides stared at one another, killing intent excluded from their body. It only took three seconds and the battle escalated.

This time around it was even more brutal as they created a pool of blood while the bodies of both humans and beasts rolled on the ground.

Meanwhile, as Dwayne stepped into the building, he was directed to an elevator that took him to a floor in the building. As he then walked out of the elevator, he arrived at a luxurious space that was filled with gadgets.

Dwayne's eyes widened in shock as he took in the multitude of gadgets in the room. The sheer number of them was overwhelming, and the more he looked, the more he realized that each one was more terrifying than the last.

His gaze wandered from the floating orb that crackled with electricity to the long sword that was etched with intricate patterns along its blade. He saw a set of throwing knives, each one glinting dangerously in the dim light of the room, and a pair of boots that seemed to be made of some kind of metal.

After a moment, Dwayne's eyes settled on a glass cabinet that contained a particularly intriguing gadget. It was a gauntlet with little stones embedded in the knuckles, and as he approached it, he could feel a faint hum emanating from it.

"That's an interesting choice, Dwayne."

A voice suddenly sounded that caused Dwayne to hurriedly turn to the direction the voice was coming from. As his eyes met with the person who had just spoken, his mouth opened slightly and he said. "Raphael."

Raphael ignored Dwayne's gaze and moved his eyes to the gauntlet in the cabinet. "The stones on the gauntlet can enhance your power greatly, In your case it means it will double the effect of your arrow and expulsion power."
