Rise of the Demon God-Chapter 1472 1472: Bully
Chapter 1472 1472: Bully
Long Chen sat, seemingly tired as he kept eating the fruit he had, trying to regain whatever bit of Qi he could from the fruit.
"I've already used all the Qi crystals to regain some energy in their spatial block and to resist the pressure. Now I don't have any left. I will probably have a really hard time here. Even my family is back in the black Tortoise Realm. I need to get them back as well."
"Sigh, what a headache. I shouldn't have stayed behind. If I hadn't been so curious in the temple, I wouldn't be in this mess. There wasn't even anything special downstairs."
Tired, he laid on the soft green water to hear the whistling of the water.
"That's right! I still have Xun. She wasn't left behind. Maybe she might know some things about this place?"
Long Chen called out Xun from his Inner World. He still didn't call out little snow as he wasn't sure if the Rainbow Phoenix was going to find them again or not.
He had a suspicion that if he hadn't called it Little Snow previously, the Rainbow Phoenix wouldn't have found them. She only arrived when little Snow was out.
Even though he couldn't be sure that this was the case, he didn't want to take a risk in this situation.
He only brought Xun out.
Xun appeared beside Long Chen. She took a moment to look at her surroundings.
"Are we out of that temple? Where are we? I can't sense any Qi here?"
"Where are we? That's a good question. If only I knew the answer to that question," Long Chen let out, sighing. "Apparently we are trapped in this place. I don't know where it is."
He started describing what he went through after he sent Xun back, including staying behind and meeting the Rainbow Phoenix.
"You met the Rainbow Phoenix?" Xun exclaimed. "So soon? How did it go? Seeing you're still alive it's a good sign."
"I think you should modify your statement. It would be better to say that it's fortunate I'm still alive. I don't even know how she did it, but she took me out instantly. Luckily, I managed to get out of her grasp. When I woke up, I was trapped in a spatial tunnel..."
Long Chen continued with the story.
"So you broke through the space and landed here. No wonder you don't know where you are. However, it's really bad news that your Martial Soul is damaged. We need to do something about it."
"You think?" Long Chen asked, rolling his eyes. "If I can't heal myself, I can't leave this place. Everyone is waiting for me!"
"Don't worry; we will find a way to heal your Martial Soul. But first, we need to find out where we are. Only then can we decide on what steps to take. Did you see anyone here? Or a village or any kind of settlement?"
"Did I see someone?" Long Chen asked, smiling. "I saw many people. I was trapped in a cage here when I woke up. I was being carried to some place by a bunch of people who spoke some unknown language."
"I see. That's good news. That means we aren't in a barren world, at least. There's life here. And whenever there's life, there is always a way to find Qi there," Xun said. "Tell me more about those people. What did they look like?"
"They looked similar to a human. There were only a few minor differences. Firstly, they had claws, unlike human hands. Their eyes were slightly bigger than mine. Their size was also a lot bigger."
"Claws? That means we're still in some beast world. That's good. It can mean it's a God Beast world. That would explain why there's no Qi here. These people must have some treasures that can help us. It's good news."
"Good news? I'm an intruder in a God Beast world. They would kill me at sight. I don't even have enough strength to fight them without my Martial Soul. From which angle does it seem like good news?"
"Things could've been worse; you know that, don't you?" Xun responded. "Be glad at what you got. As you said, you're already a dead man walking who luckily survived even after facing a Rainbow Phoenix. When you survive her, you can definitely survive in this place."
"Anyway, I'm also feeling hungry. I didn't eat anything in a long time. Give me one as well." Xun raided her hand towards Long Chen.
"Long Chen had just taken a bite from his second fruit when Xun asked for something to eat.
He gave the same fruit to Xun.
Xun took a bite from where Long Chen had taken a bite before handing the fruit back. "When you're hungry, even a simple fruit seems so tasty."
"It does." Long Chen took the next bite before giving the fruit to Xun again.
Both of them shared the fruit until it was finished. It was only after it was finished that Long Chen brought another fruit.
"You had more? I thought that was your last one, and that's why we were saving?" Xun asked, stunned as she saw Long Chen pull out another one. f𝙧ee𝘄𝐞𝚋𝐧૦ѵeƖ.c𝘰𝓶
"You think I won't have a stockpile of food in my ring? I have enough to last a few months."
"Then why were we sharing?" Xun asked, rolling her eyes.
"Because I had a feeling that after your lips touched this fruit, it was going to taste even sweeter. And that's what happened," Long Chen smiled, giving the fruit to Xun.
Xun took the first bite, rolling her eyes. She didn't know how to respond.
After taking one bite, she reached out her hand towards Long Chen without looking at him. Her eyes remained on the other side.
Seeing her look elsewhere, Long Chen smiled wryly.
Long Chen raised his hand as well; however, he didn't grab the fruit this time. His fingers landed on the soft hand of Xun, gently caressing them.
"Eeek?!"
Like a startled rabbit, Xun made a squeaky noise as she subconsciously retracted her hand. The fruit fell from her head.
Long Chen grabbed the fruit before it could fall to the ground.
"Hahaha, it's so fun to tease you. You're very cute like that." He took another bite of the fruit before trying to give it to Xun.
"Hmph, you think you can bully me? I don't want it anymore. I'm full," Xun snorted.
"You're full? If you say so." Long Chen took another bite from the fruit, but he didn't chew. Instead, he thought of an idea to tease Xun even more.
He kept the piece of fruit between his lips. Reaching out his hand, he grabbed the fair hands of Xun.𝑓𝙧𝘦𝘦we𝘣𝙣𝘰𝘃𝗲l.com
