Chapter 63 - 63: Chaos Unleashed.
The air between Azvoid and Draven thickened with intensity. Spectators gathered like moths to a flame, drawn by the promise of an explosive clash.
Azvoid rolled his shoulders, his gaze locked on Draven's unsettlingly calm smile. His obsidian eyes sparkled with mischief.
"Better not disappoint me, Draven. I've been dying for some real fun."
"I assure you, the fun will be all mine." Draven's voice was cold, a subtle mockery lacing his words.
"Big talk for a dead man," Azvoid shot back with a grin.
Lola had found herself in the crowd, golden eyes alight with curiosity and concern. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of anxiety. Azvoid may have beaten Freya before, but Draven's power is on a whole different level.
Draven's aura erupted, shadows swirling around him like living creatures. His power was dark, frigid, and cruel. He wasted no time, lunging forward with speed that left a chill in the air.
Azvoid's Phantom Reflex activated instinctively. His body flowed like water, moving just out of reach as Draven's strikes tore into the ground, leaving cracks of shadowy ice wherever his fists landed.

"You're faster than I expected," Draven admitted, his eyes gleaming. "But let's see how long you can dance around me."
"Dance? I think you've got me confused with a ballerina, buddy." Azvoid's mocking smile only deepened. "I prefer chaos over elegance."
He flicked his wrist, his Space Vector Master ability snapping into place. Spatial distortions rippled through the air, warping the distance between them in unpredictable ways.
Draven's next strike swerved off-course, diverted by Azvoid's manipulation.
But Draven was no amateur. He adapted, his fists glowing with a dark, corrosive energy that ate away at everything it touched.
"Impressive. But parlor tricks won't save you."
"Parlor tricks? Now you're just hurting my feelings," Azvoid snickered.
He pushed his Space Vector Master talent further, displacing space itself to teleport just inches away from Draven's blind spot. His fist shot out, laced with chaos and wrapped in a twisted brilliance.
BOOM!
Draven stumbled backward, eyes wide with surprise and pain. Azvoid's strike had left a pulsing bruise on his side, the corrosive aura around him flickering from the impact.
"What... was that?" Draven gritted his teeth.
Azvoid grinned. "Just a little something special. Let me show you more."
He released a fraction of his Authority over Chaos. His aura darkened, a primal force that made the air tremble and filled the onlookers with pure dread.
The ground beneath Azvoid's feet warped and cracked, tendrils of chaotic energy slithering outward like serpents. The very essence of destruction seeped into his fists, his eyes glinting with a madness that left even the most battle-hardened members of the guild speechless.
Lola's breath caught in her throat. Just what kind of monster is he becoming?
Draven's composure faltered, but he quickly regained it, his eyes burning with defiance. "You think you're the only one who can pull out something special?"
Suddenly, the shadows around Draven expanded, manifesting into grotesque, clawed creatures made of pure darkness. Their eyes glowed with crimson malice, snarling and writhing like animals starved for blood.
Azvoid chuckled. "Summoning beasts now? Cute. But you're not the only one who has pets."
Noctis's voice echoed in his mind, full of wicked delight. "Shall I tear those pathetic creatures to shreds, master?"
"Not yet. I want to see how strong he really is." Azvoid's response was calm, even playful. "But stay ready, Noctis. I might let you have some fun."
"Your arrogance will be your downfall!" Draven roared, sending his shadow beasts lunging at Azvoid like a tidal wave of darkness.
Azvoid's grin widened. He snapped his fingers, allowing his Authority over Chaos to unravel itself further.
The tendrils of chaos coiled around his arms, swirling with unpredictable power. He thrust his palms forward, releasing a torrent of pure destruction that clashed against the shadow beasts with a deafening boom.
The creatures disintegrated on contact, their essence ripped apart by the sheer force of chaos.
Draven's eyes widened. "What... What kind of power is that?"
"It's called being better than you." Azvoid stepped forward, his movements a blur of speed and precision. His fists, now enhanced by his Authority over Chaos, struck with terrifying efficiency.
Draven barely managed to block, his arms trembling from the impact. The corrosive aura around him was now a flickering candle against the overwhelming darkness Azvoid wielded.
Azvoid's laughter was taunting. "What happened to all that confidence? Don't tell me you're done already."
Draven spat blood, his glare defiant. "I'm far from done!"
He released a burst of energy that whipped the air into a frenzy, the shadows converging around him like a living armor. His strength surged, his aura now burning with desperation and fury.
Azvoid's eyes sparkled with excitement. This was what he craved—an opponent willing to push themselves beyond their limits.
And yet, even with Draven's newfound power, Azvoid could feel the Authority over Chaos coursing through him, eager to be unleashed in full.
He hadn't even used a fraction of his true strength.
"Alright, Draven. Show me what you've really got."
