Zephyrine POV
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
I turned in the direction where the sound of drops of water was coming from.
The place was dark except for the small reflection coming from the moon.
I was all alone, hugging my body tight as I walked down the narrow path, scanning the area for possible threats.
Suddenly, I heard a voice from behind and immediately turned around.
"Hello, is anyone there?"
There was no response.
I hastened my steps and kept my senses on high alert. I had no idea where I was, but I knew I was heading somewhere.
I saw a house up ahead, and rushed towards it. I had a second thought of going in then I heard a voice.
Suddenly, I felt a pull. My body moved on its own, and I was in.
Before me, stood a huge creature. It had wings and stood on all four snarling at me.
"You've finally arrived."
I could have run, could have screamed, but I just stood there, my brain refusing every command to move.
It pushed me, making me fall with my back on the ground. Its large figure towered over me while I shrieked beneath him in fear.
"You're mine." It growled loudly, making sure every word stuck to my brain.
My clothes were suddenly ripped off with a snap of his claws. His huge p*nis came into view, and he plunged into me without warning.
"I'll make you mine." he growled again, his claws holding me down.
I screamed loudly and then I woke up.
When I woke, my body was all covered in sweat. I looked at my arm to see the place he had held me down. The place was red due to his strong hold on me. Of restraining a sign.
My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
It was a guard.
I was summoned by Alpha Killian.
I got there to see Roland all beaten up. The pack's hall was filled with pack members and elders of the pack council.
I was pushed to the floor roughly and made to kneel in front of Alpha Killian.
"What is this about?" I asked.
"Run queen Zephyrine. Run!" Roland warned, but he was pinned to the floor making him growl helplessly.
"You better explain yourself, Alpha Killian." I said standing up.
He chuckled letting out a low growl.
"Can you see? A rogue now challenges me." The crowd erupted in loud laughter.
I looked at Alpha Killian wondering what I had missed. Just yesterday we were both on good terms, so what changed overnight.
The beta who threatened my life yesterday after I exposed him stepped out with a smirk on his face.
There was no sign of Caden and I still had no idea what was going on.
"It was found out that all you said yesterday was a lie." The beta, Gideon said.
Roland wanted to speak, and his face was pressed to the floor again.
"I have no idea what you are talking about but before that, let him go."
"He fought a guard and threatened the Alpha. He would be imprisoned." Gideon stated.
I moved forward and immediately, five other guards stood before me blocking my path.
"Alpha Killian, what are you trying to do?" I asked my gaze fixed on him.
"How dare a rogue stare at an Alpha directly to his face? Your confidence is an insult to our Alpha. This filth should be locked away." His beta retorted and that hit me hard.
Referring to me as a filth.
In a blink of an eye, I was behind him, my claws out, threatening to slit his throat.
"Let him go." I gritted my teeth, glaring at Alpha Killian.
"I won't hesitate, you know quite well that I'm a rogue and your stupid rules don't apply to me. So, let him go."
Alpha Killian looked at the guards holding Roland down and they released their hold.
I pushed the beta to the floor and rushed to help Roland.
"They were saying shit about you, I am sorry, I couldn't stand it." Roland apologized while I patted his shoulder. "You did well."
"What are you all waiting for? Grab them!" The beta ordered.
I glanced behind to see the guards approaching, they were coming from all directions.
I wasted no time in dealing with them, the sound of breaking bones and painful cry filled the hall as I dealt with the guard.
I twisted the last guard's arm backwards and kicked him, forcing his knee to the ground.
Alpha Killian glared at me from where he sat. Gideon wanted to come forward, and he ordered him to stop.
I caught a glimpse of Gideon sneering at the Alpha which looked rather disrespectful.
But that was the least of my problems, I twisted the guard's arm making him scream In pain.
"Stop!" Alpha Killian yelled. "What do you want? We already know your true intention and identity. But don't think your plan is going to work, you will never be able to take over silver moon."
"What do you mean?" I arched my brows.
"Oh, trying to play dumb, huh? Do you think we wouldn't find out that you are trying to use us to get to war with your ex mate? Luna Zephyrine of blue moon pack!"
"No that's not -
I trailed off as Caden entered the hall, he looked hot with his first two buttons of his shirt unbuttoned revealing his broad chest. My wolf stirred within me craving his touch but never will I give in to that.
"I'll let you go unharmed, and will overlook everything you've done here..." he paused, his blue eyes staring directly into mine.
"Only if you prove your self-worth."
I sneered, "Self worth?"
"You are the queen of rogues, it shouldn't be a hard fit for you. Unless the title is only for show."
I clenched my fist tightly, digging my nails into my palm. "Bring it on." I said and pushed the guard aside.
He smirked, moving closer to me. He leaned on my shoulder and whispered against ear. His soft breath sending shivers down my spine.
"Don't worry, I'll go easy on you,"
His words enraged me and I tried to push him away instead he caught my arm twirling me.
He held me close, his strong hold on my arm making it impossible for me to free his hold on me.
OH, MY! ISN'T HE HANDSOME?
I WON'T MIND WARMING HIS BED TONIGHT. I BET HE'S HUGE DOWN THERE.
The silly comments from the girls distracted me for a moment. Caden lifted me and threw me to the floor. I fell on my back with a loud thud.
So much for saying he would go easy on me.
The next few minutes, Roland and I were locked in an underground dungeon. The place was dark and no guards around because they made it impossible for the prisoners to escape even without guards.
"My queen, why let them capture us? You could've won against that arrogant wolf." Roland said, but I was deep in my thoughts.
I let Caden imprison us because I failed. But that's not it, I know something is going on and this is a way for me to find out.
I dipped my hands in my trouser pocket taking out a paper. It was a powdered substance and I poured it on the metal door.
"What's that?..... Woah." Roland exclaimed as the door began to melt.
"Let's leave." I said as the door melted completely and we were free.
But as I stepped out with Roland, Caden stood there with a torch in hand. It was as if he knew of my escape plan and was patiently waiting.
"I knew that even the thickest metal in the world wasn't enough to hold you. You did a great job."
He smirked, and let out a sinister laugh. I stood shielding Roland ready to fight. I had purposely failed the other time just to execute my plan.
I looked at him with a determined expression. If he tries to stand in my way, I won't hesitate to clear him off.
