Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent-Chapter 192: Meet with Emily, Again
***
26th Floor Light Stone.
As Aaron opened his eyes, he saw he was on the 26th floor after confirming the teleportation panel. Luckily, he successfully completed the floor boss challenge faster than he thought.
Although he managed to climb up, Aerith could not go with him. Aerith didn’t have an individual system, which made her unable to get the teleportation confirmation panel like Aaron.
But Aerith wasn’t worried. She could make it to Aaron’s place by relying on the dark dimensional portal’s power.
She could find the man’s whereabouts where Aaron went since the two shared a sight together.
The blue pillar on the light stone faded away. Aaron stepped away from the place and saw a desolate scene outside the Dark Pillar gate; the raid was not opened; thus no other group was there.
The dimensional rift reappeared, and Aerith was present right beside Aaron. Since she controlled the entire dark dimension, the woman had no trouble creating dimensional rifts anytime and anywhere.
Also, the number of MP she had was infinite, so she could bring up dimensional rifts a million times without fearing her MP being drained.
"What a desolate place," Aerith said, stepping out of the Dark Dimension.
Aaron admitted that the 26th floor was pretty deserted compared to other floors after the big city.
Though this place could be more crowded than the previous floors as it was close to Lilith City, the travel could be short. Yet, what was seen was different from what Aaron had thought.
The man reached out his hand to the side, grasping Aerith’s palm, "Let’s go explore this floor."
Aerith smiled, her heart beating constantly as Aaron instinctively grasped her hand. The two flew firmly, leaving the area to the south, a place supposedly used as a green zone by the groups living on this floor.
They continued to fly at a slow pace, merely so they wouldn’t miss anything. Yet, as they flew together to the south, east, and west, they didn’t find a single base.
"This is unusual," Aaron replied.
"What’s wrong, Aaron?" asked Aerith, her hand still held by him.
"I didn’t find any of the group’s bases on this floor. They don’t seem to be living here."
Aerith squinted, then began to watch with sharp eyes focused on the forest area. Her eyes were shining maroon, a sign she was using her magical vision to look at the area on the floor.
From Aerith’s eyes, the woman saw many magic illusions being used in the place. Part of the forest’s lushness and the variety of wild monsters were brought about through their illusion/persona magic.
The woman stopped flying while releasing Aaron’s hold on her, making Aaron stop his pace and ask Aerith.
"What’s wrong?" asked Aaron, curious.
"You might not realize it, but this place has been heavily implanted with powerful illusion magic," Aerith replied.
"Illusion magic?" asked Aaron, confused.
Aerith explained their form of illusion magic. The woman described the form of illusion as similar to the Nymph tribe’s rain magic illusion. Just as Aerith said so, Aaron came to understand the current circumstances.
"So, they’re hiding from behind the illusion magic just like the Nymph?"
"That’s right. But their illusions are stronger, so destroying the combined illusion takes quite a while," Aerith replied.
’Combined illusion magic? That might be troublesome.’
’However, I didn’t expect them to use combined illusion magic. Have they formed an alliance among the other groups of floor people?" asked Aaron.
The woman looked back, spotting Aaron still flying while paying attention to the tropical rainforest area, which he found odd —there was a magic glitch that felt evident in that place.
Even so, hearing the illusion magic was a combined magic illusion, then there would be many groups cooperating.
Destroying the protective illusion for no apparent reason was foolish —even though Aaron could defeat them as quickly as flipping a palm.
"What are you going to do?" asked Aerith.
"We’re not here to stay, just to confirm that floor access privileges have been granted," Aaron replied firmly.
"So, we’re going back to Lilith City."
"Alright."
Aerith didn’t mind it; all decisions were in Aaron’s hands as she obeyed the man. Still, at least Aaron knew the situation on the 26th floor and could take action later on.
He swung his hand to the side, scratching the dimensional boundary to bring out the rift. Aaron was still glued to the sight of the magic flow that continued to supply the combined magic illusion above the forest; the number was massive and could definitely come from more than 10 people.
A dimensional rift appeared. Aerith turned her head and saw Aaron still looking in the same direction as before.
"Aaron?" she called.
"I’m here."

Aaron flew into the dimensional rift, with Aerith following behind. The crack closed and disappeared after it shrank in size.
It was enough to relieve people, especially those who had taken protection under the combined illusion of magic.
The group leaders could exhale slowly. The leaving of the two gave them a sense of ease.
The captains were aware that Aaron and Aerith’s strength was above theirs. Still, the captains and the group members who took up protection were grateful for their wisdom in not destroying the combined illusion magic.
"We’re lucky they didn’t destroy this illusion magic," the Sky Sword group captain replied.
"That’s right. If they had, we might have fought them to the death."
"Stay on your guard. We don’t know what those two are planning."

Lilith City
25th Floor.
A dimensional rift appeared outside the gate of the 25th-floor Dark Pillar. Aaron stepped out with Aerith by his side. To his shock, Aaron met Emily and Aldo there.
"Emily?" asked Aaron, shocked.

"It’s you, Master Venerable Sage!" said Emily, feeling enthusiastic while pointing to Aaron, who stood in the sky as if there was an invisible sky floor.
"What are you doing here? The safe place for you is at the HQ," Aaron said.
"The raid team captain said he saw someone who could potentially be Aaron. I came straight here and waited for you for quite a while."
"It turned out to be true. You are the Venerable Sage," Emily replied.
Aaron saw the raid team and its captain still in that place; Emily and Aldo came along with three other Sky Sword members. A total of 13 members of the 25th Sky Sword were outside the Dark Pillar gate, waiting for him.
The man sighed. He stepped towards them and descended from the sky in the blink of an eye, causing a strong blast of wind to rush around them; Emily was not bothered by that.
"What’s the matter?" asked Aaron, curious.
Aerith followed suit as she stepped down the stairs, standing beside Aaron with sharp eyes burning maroon.
The woman wanted to emphasize that Aaron was hers; no one could approach or flirt with him. Emily glanced at Aerith, realizing that Aerith was stronger than her.
"Tell me, Emily. Why are you looking for me?" asked Aaron, confirming to her.
"Eloise wanted to thank you properly. But you were hard to find. You were seen performing the ascension talent in the city cathedral. When we were about to come after you, you disappeared with no trace," Aldo explained, recounting the situation to Aaron.
"Why thank me? I didn’t do anything; Emily did."
"That’s right. Still, without your power, Emily wouldn’t have been able to recover like she is now," Aldo said.
Aaron sighed, his hands folded over his chest as his head shook to the right and left. He was worried that if he went and met Eloise, it would cause new problems he didn’t want.
Aaron was sick enough of dealing with adventurer groups. It was time for him to go solo and claim the Dark Rulers’ title with his own hands.
"I won’t—"
"We’ll go," Aerith interrupted, smiling as she replied to Aldo’s words.
Aaron gasped, reflexively turning his head to the side and seeing Aerith’s eyes. Aerith smiled widely, saying there was no harm in accepting their invitation.
"Sky Sword is a major group. We’ll be fine there," Aerith replied.
"True, but I try to stay out of the way of those groups."
"I’m here, Aaron. If they try to mess with you, I’ll kill them."
