S.P.E.C.T.O.R-Chapter 532: Cat’s Eyes

Spector suddenly appeared in Earth's orbit amid a purple glow and flashes of lightning, which quickly died away.

“Temporal analysis complete. We have successfully arrived at the target time and destination,” Spector announced.

“So that’s Earth,” Stacey remarked as she looked down at it through the mess hall's large window.

“I’m honestly surprised we’re here. If you had told me back when I first met you that one day I would visit your homeworld, I’m not sure I would have believed you,” Rowena remarked as she looked down on Earth.

“I’m not sure I would have either. When I left Earth, I fully expected it to be a one-way trip,” Adam replied.

“Look at all that water,” Lorelie said with bright eyes.

“I wouldn’t go swimming in it,” Adam advised.

“Why not?” Lorelie asked.

“Pollution. It’s nowhere near as clear as the water on Oceana Seven,” Adam explained.

“Shame,” Lorelie replied in disappointment.

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): How do you think the rest of Earth would react if they knew a spaceship was currently in orbit with several hot aliens aboard?]

“Spector. Are you able to deploy the relay while we go down to the planet?” Adam asked.

“Affirmative,” Spector replied.

“I would advise doing it away from Earth; we don’t want some nosy astronauts messing with it,” Adam suggested.

[LadyErkath (Alastor): The ship's AI plans to construct and deploy one, apparently. Also, it seems it plans to limit access to only those Earthlings who have access to the stream.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Wasn’t the subspace relay that thing the streamers' AI talked about just before leaving Earth?]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): I think so. Does this mean we’re getting one? That’s awesome.]

As the chat discussed the fact that a subspace relay was apparently going to be deployed in the Milky Way Galaxy, Adam led the girls towards the armoury.

“Why are we heading towards the armoury?” Stacey asked.

“We will take the shuttle down to Earth in a few minutes. First, we need to equip you all.

We might be going up against armed people, and while guns that fire bullets are old tech to you all, they're still capable of killing you and that’s something I won’t chance,” Adam replied.

“Are we using the combat armour again?” Tephe asked in excitement.

“No, that stands out too much and considering how attractive you all are, you're already going to stand out too much down there,” Adam replied.

“What’s wrong, darling? Are you jealous about all the looks we’re going to get?” Rowena teased.

“I don’t care about the looks you will get, as that’s something each of you will naturally get since you're all so beautiful. It’s when someone is stupid enough to try doing more than just look,” Adam began to explain as the women smiled at his compliment.

“No woman on Earth can match the beauty of any of you, not even the top models. Because of this, I can almost guarantee that some idiots will try to cop a feel or worse.

While I will be there to keep an eye on things most of the time and put these people in their place. No one can predict what’s going to happen down there…” At this point, Adam stopped before adding, “Well, I suppose Oracle Andromeda can.”

“What I’m trying to say is that I want you all to be capable of protecting yourselves. We’re landing on a planet where no one knows who you are and where most people don’t even know about the known universe,” Adam added before looking at each woman in turn and saying, “It would be best if you hide your wings, tails or ears if at all possible.”

[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): Can you imagine how people would react if they saw those 5 walking down the street?]

[RealOtaku (Earth): They would probably think there’s an anime convention on or something.]

“I know Stacey and Rowena can hide their wings, and Lorelie is fine if she stays out of water,” Adam stated before looking at Tephe, Aphrodite and Eri and asking, “But what about the rest of you?”

“I can hide my horns and tail,” Aphrodite replied.

“Me too, as well as my wings,” Tephe added before both women did just that as if to prove their point.

“Unfortunately, we Catonians don’t have such an ability,” Eri replied regretfully.

“Hmmm. Hiding your ears is easy; you just need to wear a hat. However, your tail is another issue,” Adam replied before looking at Eri's tail, which made her blush slightly.

“How about she wears some trousers and hides it down one of the legs?” Rowena suggested.

“That could work,” Adam replied before asking Eri, “What do you think?”

“That’s fine,” Eri replied.

“Thanks and sorry for the trouble,” Adam said to Eri before adding, “but I think you would probably be the most popular of all.”

“Me? Why?” Eri asked in surprise as the other women listened in.

“I’m fairly sure Nekojin or Cat girls have a cult following, especially from Otakus,” Adam replied.

[RealOtaku (Earth): Damn straight. Eri needs to join the harem, or at least join the group.]

“R… really?” Eri asked in shock.

“Yeah, so unless you want to be surrounded by a bunch of horny teenagers with smartphones taking pictures of you, keep your tail and ears hidden,” Adam replied.

“Smartphones?” Aphrodite asked.

“Oh, they're basically like the communicators you all used to use in the past, just without the holographic function,” Adam explained.

“What are cats?” Eri asked curiously since the work was part of her race's name.

“They are an animal that exists on Earth. Many people keep them as pets, while in the past, they were regarded as symbols of protection, fertility, and divinity,” Adam replied before studying Eri’s eyes for a few moments, making her blush again.

“Darling, if you keep staring at my fan that hard, I’m liable to get jealous,” Lorelie teased.

“Sorry, babe, I was just considering if I should give Eri an earring because of her eyes,” Adam replied while smiling at Lorelie.

“What’s wrong with my eyes?” Eri asked.

“Nothing. They're very beautiful, “Adam replied before adding, “It’s just they're cat's eyes. You will see what I mean when we reach the planet.”

[RealOtaku (Earth): NOOOOO. Don’t do it. Don’t commit sacrilege, streamer.]

[Daldrin (Earth): Are you trying to get them caught? I like her eyes as much as you, but they do need to be hidden.]

“Anyway, let's get started,” Adam said before walking over to one of the armoury's walls and pressing his hand against it, causing a section of the wall to slide out, revealing several of the form bracelets.

“Those of you who don’t have a form bracelet, feel free to take one, as this will protect you against weapons should we get into a fight,” Adam said before moving towards another compartment as he added, “Spector, please show them a selection of current Earth clothing that they can have the form bracelet copy.”

“Affirmative,” Spector replied before displaying several dozen different holographic screens.

“It’s not going to change our clothing into that ridiculous outfit you wore on Solarian Prime, is it?” Aphrodite asked with a smirk.

Adam glared at her, making her laugh before she took one of the form-change bracelets and slid it onto her arm.

After he reached another wall compartment and opened it, Adam retrieved one of the earrings before throwing it to Eri while saying, “Eri catch.”

Eri nimbly caught the earring and looked at it.

“You have quick reactions,” Rowena stated as she saw how quickly Eri reacted to catch the earring.
