Chapter 321: Chapter 258: meeting

Everyone fell silent, some looked at the others hesitantly, while others grinned happily.

"Saintess, I’m still worried about being pursued by the church of Paige, or even the other gods," stated Kairo, a slim middle-aged man, with fair skin and spiky deep blue hair tied in a ponytail. His left eye was red while the other was gray. He was the second head Priest in Sandeph, being second in authority after Deille.

"Don’t worry they won’t find us in the meantime," Aurianna said confidently.

"How are you sure?" Hotron asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Because the White Gemaris goddess has placed a cloaking system around the church, which prevents others from discovering us or feeling our presence. As long as you are in the church! What’s more, the church is in the sky," Aurianna explained.

Malik who was concerned about this as well had a settled demeanor now, seemingly put at ease by her answers.

"I was quite surprised when I found out about that," Deille scratched his chin, smiling.

"Well the Saintess has been surprising us over and over again," Deprixon shook his head in defeat.

Aurianna chuckled, "Don’t worry the surprises won’t be ending soon. Now, as questions are seemingly over, let’s discuss the management of the church."

"Like how, Aurianna?" Avriel asked curiously.

Aurianna scanned the room, "Like who would be the Pope, Archbishop, and others."

"Deille could you please tell us the rankings or roles in the church?" 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Deille nodded, "Yes I can. In the church, we have these rankings. The Sacred, the Pope, Archbishop, Saintess, Apostles, Bishop, Graces, Head Priest, Paladins, Priest, Cleric, Healers, and nuns."

The whole time Deille gave his explanation Aurianna could barely hold back her giggles. He was very passionate while saying each role. At the very least, even if he wasn’t the brightest Head Priest, he was one very set on structurization.

Aurianna scratched her chin, "Hmm. I see. Thanks for the explanation Deille."

Deille stayed silent, giving a nod of appreciation for her gratitude to him.

Deprixon coughed lightly, all the heads in the room turning to him, Aurianna included. He spoke, "I think you should also be aware that it is not only Paige who can have a Saintess. There are other churches who worship other gods and also have their own Saintess or Saints."

"Oh do not worry I’m aware of that," Aurianna responded, giving Deprixon a smile.

Ever since she found out about the other Saintesses she realized why killing her off in her past life wasn’t such a big deal. Since there were so many Saintesses her death would be seen as insignificant.

Aurianna turned her attention from Deprixon back to everyone else in the room, "Okay. The job you held in Paige’s church would be carried over here as well. However, I’m unaware of the jobs you all had."

"Saintess, we can tell you if you want," a priest with red hair stated.

"Okay then start."

Kairo stood, "I’m Kairo. I previously served as the 2nd head Priest in Sandeph. They sent me to support Deille. I used to work in the healing department where I led our healers, whom I would send to nobles and commoners in need."

Aurianna gave a silent nod. She’d remembered Kairo, he was the first to voice concerns. Mainly about the church of Paige’s pursuit of the defectors. He seemed to be level-headed from what she could assess.

The priest with red hair from before stood up next, "I’m Kevin, I managed the church’s finances."

....

After an hour everyone was done stating what each of them did and Aurianna nodded in satisfaction.

Aurianna scanned the room, "Regarding the new recruits with no jobs, each of you can choose from the batch who would work at the corresponding places in the church."

"Regarding this matter, I was wondering why you chose to make us bring a certain group of slaves and commoners who would do anything to survive? I believe if not for the marking they would be a harder bunch to control. Wouldn’t it be better if we chose those that would do whatever we say without such pressures?" asked Alice, a fair female priest with short brown hair and a pair of bright purple eyes.

"Taking in the naive ones and those who expect others to save them would hinder our progress. They won’t strive to grow stronger! If they aren’t willing to do anything to fulfill their goals, they’re useless. They would never reach far in this life," Aurianna answered calmly. Jade raised an eyebrow at her words, feeling like he could catch a glint of contempt in her voice.

Zain, a burly priest with dark brown skin and big bushy hair slammed his hand on the table lightly. He was flashing a hearty smile, "I agree with the Saintess completely. Those who are willing to grow stronger would work hard and are willing to go through the struggle and pain to get what they want." He paused for a moment, turning to look at Aurianna, "However, if I may ask, what’s your main goal for gathering so many people?"

"I plan to destroy Sandeph and the church of Paige. And more people would be joining us soon that’s why I would like for us to settle down first."

There was a profound silence. All in the room held one thought, was she serious?

When Aurianna said what she did, it was so nonchalant. As if it was obvious, or at the very least not as crazy as it actually was. She was talking about overthrowing a whole country and a promise land like she was reading the morning paper.

The sudden silence was disturbed as Deprixon uttered, "That’s a joke right?"

"It’s not a joke, after all I was the one who destroyed the Shinia country. I guess my father suppressed that information," Aurianna said with an evil grin.

"Are you out of your mind?!! How’s that possible?? So all those people..." Deille stood up, slamming his hand on the table.

"Yes I killed them all with the help of Hadina, Jade, Avriel, Jugi and Zagan. They would be one of the top leaders in our new church. For titles I guess they would be my... I mean the White Gemaris goddess apostles!" Aurianna declared.

"In the continent of Gaias, Sandeph is ranked as the third most powerful kingdom after the Voltarion kingdom ruled by the elves! And Shinia was also just as powerful to think it was destroyed by you..." Deille had sweat slowly dripping down his forehead. Veins were popping from it as well. He was in shock and fury all in one at her announcement.

Deprixon chuckled nervously, "That’s not to mention their military number of over 200,000 thousand soldiers who all possess Job Classes and are above level 200!"

"Exactly yet we managed to do it. Now it’s time for Sandeph and the church of Paige!!" Aurianna declared excitedly.

Deille held his head in frustration, "With our current population, strength and the fact that almost everyone here is a healer, that gives us a huge disadvantage! We can never fight against Paige’s church. The people who rule it are too powerful, it’s a death sentence!!"

"Please, Aurianna, think of the consequences of going against Paige. We could all lose our lives, so it’s better to lay low for a while," Urged Deprixon with a note of worry in his voice.

"Even if we won’t be laying low, we must at least train to be strong enough," Hotron suggested, giving Aurianna an intense stare.

"Trust me. With my new training method every one would reach level 1000 in less than 3 years," Aurianna said with confidence. It wasn’t just how she said it, her posture, expression, even her eyes, everything pointed to her telling the truth. She really had a method for them to become that powerful.

"And what training method would be able to do that?" Malik tilted her head.

"Why do you think we’re on top of the Forbidden forest and have a room that can revive our dead members?" Aurianna asked, crossing her legs with a grin on her face.

"You’re not thinking...." Jugi blurted but before he could say anything else, the council room he was in was replaced by a clearing of trees. He was already in the dark gloomy place known as the Forbidden forest before they all knew it.

Everyone who was once in the church just blinked to see themselves in a dark forest covered in light gray mist. A screen then appeared before everyone who looked around confused about what was going on.

Aurianna’s face appeared on the screen, she started speaking with excitement in her voice, "Sorry for the sudden teleportation. I would like to tell you all that you’re now going to participate in the life and death training whether you like it or not."

"Everyone is going to start their awakening in their second job class! I bet you’ve seen it before when I gave you a bit of my power but you’ll have to train to claim it as your own fully!" Aurianna yelled excitedly with a grin that could be called nothing short of evil in this situation. Her words made those watching shudder as the instincts of everyone screamed danger.

"You are now in the forbidden forest, filled with monstrous creatures. Your second job class would probably awaken when you’re near death. So good luck to you all," Aurianna smiled with an evil grin before the screen disappeared.

A group of people stood together, despite their different races, or even class, being a mix of commoners and priests, they all shared one thing in common, the looks of confusion on their faces.

"What’s the Forbidden Forest?" A man with the body of a human with a dog’s face asked nervously.

"You don’t know what the Forbidden Forest is?" A man sneered as he looked at everyone who were nervously shuffling closer to each other.
