Chapter 429: Chapter 430: An Amazing Miracle Appears!

"King Nereus, are you confused!? Or have you lost your faith, forgetting the dignity of His Majesty, the Sea God!?"

Orm’s voice was sharp, reverberating with authority. He could sense a conspiracy brewing against him, so he naturally tried his best to deny Nereus’ claim.

The other two kings turned to Nereus, their eyes filled with doubt and confusion.

In the Seven Seas, temples to the Sea God stood in almost every corner. No one was unfamiliar with Poseidon’s divine visage.

But the black-haired, dark-eyed young man before them looked nothing like the Sea God of their faith.

Yet, in the face of such skepticism, King Nereus only smiled—calm, unhurried, and unfazed.

At that moment, Fenric finally spoke, his tone light but commanding.

"You are Orm, the current king of Atlantis?"

Orm looked at him with disdain. "And who are you? Who gave you the audacity to impersonate the Sea God? Do you not know this is treason worthy of death? Speak! Who is your master?"

"Such insolence," Fenric replied coolly.

Then, with a single motion, he raised the trident in his hand.

A deep, resonating hum rang out.

Suddenly, the calm sea surged violently. Waves split as if torn by an unseen blade, the waters rushing aside faster and faster until—

A miracle appeared.

The ocean itself parted.

The massive sea, as if cleaved open by a divine hand, separated from the center, exposing the seabed below. In an instant, the entire kingdom of Atlantis lay bare beneath the sun.

Shock and terror spread through every Atlantean.

The sight of the sun overhead left them trembling in disbelief. Such a phenomenon could never occur naturally. Only a god could command the ocean so.

"A miracle!" someone cried.

"His Majesty the Sea God has revealed himself!"

"Kneel! Pray to His Majesty with reverence!"

One after another, countless Atlanteans fell to their knees, their voices rising in desperate, pious prayer.

Inside the grand hall, the kings stared in horror.

Fenric had parted the sea with nothing but a gesture. Such divine power left them trembling.

Even Nereus, who had believed in him, was shaken by the sheer scale of it.

"!!!"

Orm’s face twisted in disbelief. The mysterious man before him wielded such terrifying dominion over the sea—who could deny his divinity?

The other two kings were so terrified that their knees gave out, barely able to remain standing.

Even Arthur, Mera, and Atlanna who had been hiding in the shadows were left speechless, their eyes wide with awe.

Then, Fenric’s cold voice thundered through the hall.

"Orm! Will you not kneel?"

Orm flinched. Instinct drove him to bow, yet pride and fear of losing everything restrained him. If he kneeled now, his fate would forever be bound in submission.

Clenching his jaw, he forced himself to remain standing. "Even if you wield such power over the seas, you are no true Sea God!"

"Foolishness."

Fenric’s eyes hardened. He lifted his hand and pointed directly at Orm.

Mind power surged forth.

"Kneel."

An invisible weight pressed down upon Orm. It was as if a mountain had been dropped onto his shoulders. His knees buckled, his body trembling uncontrollably.

Despite his shame, he could no longer resist. With a crash, Orm fell to his knees.

Fenric’s gaze then swept to the other kings.

They paled instantly. Their legs gave out, and they dropped to the ground, bowing low.

"Greetings to His Majesty, the Sea God!"

Whether he was the true Poseidon or not, Fenric’s power was undeniable. To them, he was no different from a god.

A laugh escaped Fenric’s lips. His identity was now sealed in their eyes—resistance was futile.

"Arthur, come out."

At his command, Arthur and the others stepped from hiding. Their eyes reflected awe and reverence for Fenric. His power was simply overwhelming.

When Atlanna appeared, the kings gasped in shock.

"Your Majesty?!"

Orm’s eyes widened. "Mother? You... you were dead!"

Atlanna’s eyes brimmed with tears as she approached her son.

"My child, I never died. I was trapped in a mysterious place... and His Majesty, the Sea God, saved me."

Though her heart ached, her gaze was firm. Orm was her son, but so was Arthur. Both were her flesh and blood, and her heart was torn.

Seeing this, Fenric slowly lowered his hand, allowing the parted sea to close once more. Atlantis sank back beneath the waves, restored to its hidden place.

Yet Orm remained kneeling, his spirit shaken beyond repair.

He looked at his mother, realization dawning in his heart. Atlanna had come with Arthur. That alone revealed where her loyalty lay.

"Mother," Orm whispered bitterly, "you’ve chosen him too... Arthur."

Atlanna’s tears fell freely. "You are both my sons, and I love you both. But Orm, you have been misled. Your father’s teachings divided sea and land. He was wrong. The land and the ocean were never meant to be enemies. Endless war brings only death."

Orm’s fists trembled. His silence lasted only a moment before he roared, his voice breaking.

"No! This is not fair! I challenge Arthur! According to the customs of Atlantis, when royal bloodlines clash, the throne is decided in combat! Only the victor shall inherit the crown!"

It was his last desperate hope. If he could defeat Arthur in a duel, he could cling to the throne.

Atlanna broke down in sobs. The thought of her sons fighting tore at her heart.

Fenric, however, found amusement in the challenge.

"Very well, Orm," Fenric declared. "I accept your request. This duel will be your last chance."

Atlanna tried to protest, but no one could defy the Sea God’s judgment.

Arthur’s face tightened with unease. He wanted to speak against it, but Fenric’s authority silenced him.

Seeing his brother’s fiery resolve, Arthur’s own eyes hardened with determination.

Orm rose unsteadily, his gaze locking on Arthur.

"My dear brother, let us go to the dueling arena. If you seek my throne, you must defeat me before all of Atlantis—under the witness of His Majesty, the Sea God!"
