Sanctuary Agency-Chapter 32: The Fool [1]
Chapter 32 - The Fool [1]
〘Date: 2/13 - Wednesday〙
〘Time: 10:00 AM〙
〘Location: Texas, Royal Creek - Spade District〙
Wendy, Allie, and Jade were at an old gym in the Spade District, Wendy coaching Allie and Jade on how to fight and survive in the streets. Wendy stood at ringside while the two girls sparred and wrestled inside the ring.
"C'mon, ladies! Put some more arm strength on that strike! Is that how you're gonna hit the goons on the streets?!" Wendy coached, smacking the mat of the ring with encouragement.
Jade grunted softly as she escaped Allie's submission hold, slinging her to the ropes with a strong push. Allie ran toward the ropes, rebounding with an attempted clothesline, but Jade ducked under the attack. Allie rebounded once more, but Jade dropped down to the ground, causing Allie to leap over her.
Allie rebounded once more, mixing up her route and catching Jade off guard with a sloppy Spear, her spear looking more like a leaping cross-body. Allie stood up with a pop off, shaking the ropes and marching around the ring like a femmale beast of the woods.
"Ahh! Give me that! Spear outta nowhere!" Allie roared, imagining herself in a ring full of spectators.
Jade groaned softly, curled up in a ball as her stomach rumbled with slight pain. She coughed lightly, pushing herself up to her feet. "Fuck...that sloppy ass Spear.."
Allie giggled softly at Jade's slight discomfort, hurrying toward her and helping her onto her feet. Once Jade rose to her feet, she pushed Allie's arms away and immediately brought her down with a diamond cutter.
"Turn your head!" Wendy warned, watching as Allie was brought down by a venomous cutter.
Allie turned her head, safely taking damage as she was finally brought down. Jade performed a kip up, popping off on her own and marched around the ring as well, climbing on the ropes and raising her hands on the air.
"We call that the Jaded Diamond y'all! She didn't see that one coming!" Jade laughed, her Rated-R persona cracking to the surface.
Allie groaned softly as she rolled over onto her back, placing her hands on her head as she recovered. "Ugh...I was so not ready for that..."
Wendy giggled softly at the two, hopping onto the side of the ring and holding onto the ropes. "Now that you two got your finishers out of the way, how about we get back to business, hmm?~"
"Okay!~" Jade and Allie immediately perked up, the two of them returning to the middle of the ring to wait for Wendy's next instructions.
"Actually, before we start, I have a question for you," Jade said, lowering her stance and turning to face Wendy.
"Yeah, what's that?" Wendy asked, her gaze meeting Jade's with a smile.
"The Sanctuary Agency... Who's side are they really on and why is Ryder a part of the Agency. I mean, this is my first time seeing you all in actual person and yet no one speaks about you," Jade questioned, crossing her arms and keeping an intrigued eye on Wendy.
Wendy closed her eyes and exhaled softly, knowing some questions would arise soon. "Well, The Agency runs by their own rules, but we are more typically aligned with the good guys, but we are still a Mafia with our own beef with another organization known as the Lost Syndicates."
"As for Ryder, he's our Ace. The Key to bringing the world back to peace. You've noticed it right? His tattoos, the Alchemy he can use... Allie's Sigil," Wendy said, her gaze shifting toward Allie with a knowing gaze.
Allie gasped softly, covering her pelvis and shrinking into a bashful state. "H-Hey! No peeking!"
Jade glanced at Allie, now more curious after learning of Allie's Love Sigil. She glanced at Wendy once more, processing her words then her eyes widened with pure disbelief. "No way...Ryder is—"
Allie quickly covered Jade's mouth, shushing her immediately and loudly against her ear, her body nearly breaking into sweats. "Not too loud..! We are still in public, if anyone learns our boyfriend is the Son of Shiro, he will be targeted by the entire world..! Including his own Tribe...!"
Jade grunted softly, not understanding how severe her near slip up was, but nodded her head and decided to stay quiet. Allie gently removed her hand from Jade's mouth, giving her a relieved smile and nodded back at Jade.
Wendy chuckled softly, enjoying seeing the girls' close relationship. "Well, now that your curiosity has been answered, let's continue~"
Allie and Jade nodded, retaking their positions at the middle of the ring. Once Wendy gave the signal, the two began sparring once more, both sides giving it their all for each other.
Jade pushed Allie toward the ropes, Allie rebounding back toward Jade with a running High Knee, but Jade quickly side stepped her strike. Allie looked back, launching a back fist but Jade quickly ducked under her attack, picking her up and planting her with a powerbomb on the mat.
With her shoulders down, Wendy began slamming her hand against the mat, counting for three. Allie grunted softly, kicking out at two and rolling backwards toward the bottom rope behind her.
Jade chuckled softly at Allie, pushing herself up on one knee. "Heh...first to get pinned or submits wins. How about it..?"
Allie looked at Jade, her lips curling into a competitive grin. Pushing herself up, she began to hop up and down, pumping herself up. "Alright, let's do it!~"
Allie charged toward Jade, launching a quick jab at Jade, missing her strike as Jade slipped around her fist. Jade grappled onto Allie's arm, slinging her toward the ropes. As Allie rebounded back toward her, she attempted to take her down with a hip toss, but Allie quick reversed into a powerful uranage with a primal cry.
Allie quickly took cover, hooking Jade's leg and Wendy began the count. Once Wendy reached two and a quarter, Jade kicked out, pushing Allie off her and flailing to her side. Allie sat up straight, panting softly and flipping her hair out of her face with a confident grin.
She turned toward Wendy, holding up the number three. "That was three, give that to me.."
"Nah, that was two, Hun. It was close though," Wendy chuckled lightly, leaning against the side of the ring with amusement.
Allie huffed softly, standing up onto her feet and walking toward Jade and picked her up, striking Jade across the chest with a stinging chop. Jade grunted heavily in pain, her body tensing as the stinging sensation began to spread across her body.
Allie stood Jade still, striking her with another chop causing Jade to groan and stomp her boots against the mat. Allie marched toward Jade, not allowing her any leverage for recovery, grabbing her forearm and pushing her toward the corner of the ring.
"Alright, let's run!" Allie called out, pulling Jade from the corner in attempt to shove her across the ring.
Jade reversed her slinging push, shoving Allie toward the corner with great force. Once Allie reached the corner, she stopped herself by placing her hands on the ropes, glancing behind herself to see Jade charging behind her.
Using her athleticism from cheerleading, she used the second rope to springboard herself over Jade, landing behind her. Jade quickly stopped herself, hearing Allie charging toward her and countered with a hard elbow to the face.
"C'mon, Jade! Capitalize off that, babe! Get to it!" Wendy encouraged, clapping her hands in attempt to rally Jade.
Jade felt her nerves tingling as she felt Wendy's rally, an idea sparking up in her head. She rushed toward Allie, pushing her toward the ropes and forcing her to rebound toward her. Once she was close enough, Jade launched a swift roundhouse kick, her foot connecting to the side of Allie's skull.
Allie became dazed for a moment, sinking down onto one knee before collapsing onto the mat. Jade took this opportunity to pin Allie, Wendy slamming her hand on the mat to begin the count once more. At the count of two and a half, Allie shot her arm in the air, kicking out of the pin.
Jade sat up, moving her hair out of her face and licked her lips, letting out soft pants. "Damn girl...you're resilient."
"Mhmmph..." Allie mumbled back, laying on her side and holding the side of her head, feeling a wave of buzzing all around her brain.
Jade chuckled softly as she smoothly stood up on her feet, grabbing Allie and raising her to her feet and hooking her arm around her neck. She rose Allie off her feet for a vertical suplex, but Allie struck the top of her head with a few knee strikes, forcing Jade to put her down.
Allie grinned with plotting confidence, striking Jade with a chop across the chest to fire her up. Jade groaned with pain and frustration, retaliating with a roundhouse kick, but Allie back as if she were in the matrix, evading Jade's kick.
Wendy caught notice to Allie's sudden boost in reflexes, watching as Allie began evading each of Jade's focused and calculated attacks. 'The way she's moves...it's almost like Ryder's Autonomous Reflexes, but a bit more...I can't quite explain it..'
Jade went for a devastating clothesline, but Allie evaded with another Matrix Dodge, countering Jade with a roll up pin. At the one count, Jade broke out of the pin, recovering onto her feet at the rope but Allie was quickly on her tracks, landing a step up knee strike to Jade's face.
Tossing Jade behind her, Allie sprung herself onto the top rope, launching herself onto Jade with a corkscrew moonsault, but Jade rose her knees in time, causing Allie to crash onto her stomach. While Allie recovered on the ground, Jade stood up and made her way toward Allie.
Grabbing Allie's legs, she began hooking them around her arm until she locked in the Prism Trap submission hold, Allie screaming out in great discomfort as her calf was under deep pressure. Allie grunted loudly, gripping her hair in distress as the pain began to intensify.
"C'mon, Allie! You got this, girlie! Don't let her keep that hold on you! Grab the ropes!" Wendy coached, patting her hand against the mat.
Mustering up all of her strength, Allie began crawling toward the ropes, reaching out with great struggle and grabbing upon the bottom rope. Jade immediately released her hold, stepping backwards and wiping her nose.
Allie grunted softly as she used the ropes as support to rise to her feet, a cunning glint flashing in her eyes. Pivoting around, she stopped Jade's approach with an elbow strike to the face, following it with a series of quick jabs into a cross, dazing Jade for a moment.
"Yeah! That's right, go ahead and capitalize off that! Give it to her!" Wendy cheered, clapping her hands to rally Allie.
Allie ran toward the ropes, rebounding back toward Jade and leaping onto her, twirling around her with a Crucifix Spin into a double knee face breaker, bouncing Jade's face off her knees. Allie performed a kip up, letting out rallying cry and turn around quickly, stalking Jade and watching as she recovered.
Once Jade began to rise back to her feet, Allie rose to hers and let out a battle cry then ran toward the ropes, rebounding back to Jade with a step up, delayed 540 kick to the side of Jade's head, causing her to fall onto one knee in a stunned state.
"This is your chance to end it! Go for the finish!" Wendy called out, smacking her hands against the mat.

Allie nodded her head, feeling the best coursing through her body, her Love Sigil beginning to awaken from her raw emotion and energy. Allie let out a Tribal Howl, picking Jade up in a Full Nelson hold then followed it with a powerful Full Nelson Slam while dropping to her knees as well.
Allie quickly took the pin, sitting on Jade's stomach and raising her legs with her arm raised. Wendy began the count, slamming her hand against the mat for the count of three, declaring Allie the winner of their sparring match.
Allie cheered expressively, getting off Jade and popping to her feet with excitement. Jade groaned softly, holding the back of her head and her back, the pain of the slam still lingering all over her body. Wendy let out a pleased hum, impressed with the show of skill between the two girls and knew they were on the right track for the greater future.

Momo, Karin, and I began making our way toward the plaza to meet up with Allie, Jade, and Wendy, all six of us planning to make our way toward a restaurant to eat and chat. On our way to the trio, my eyes caught sight of a beautiful woman holding a child, passing out flyers to the Spade Citizens.
"Excuse me! Uh...Hi, would you like to...oh okay," The woman began, her smile slightly fading as the Spade Citizen dismissed her with a hateful glare.
"Hey, who's that?" I asked, nudging Momo gently with my elbow.
Momo looked over at me, her gaze shifting toward the woman I was looking at, her expression slightly souring. "Ugh...that's Fredrick's idiotic fiancee. Her name is Valerie, she's a bit of a suck up for Fredrick."
"Looks like she's trying to pass out some flyers, I don't know why she would even try here after everything. I feel bad for her though, such a nice woman stuck with that faker," Karin added, looking over at Valerie as well, watching as every citizen rejected her.
"Welp, ain't shit we can do about it. I'm ready to get some grub, sad that old cactus won't join us," Momo shrugged, continuing forward toward the plaza.
"She's blacklisted from everything remember..?" Karin said in a deadpan tone, following in step beside Momo.
"That doesn't mean she can't touch grass outside of her backyard," Momo scoffed, her voice dripping with a snarky tone.
I began to follow behind Momo and Karin, my gaze lingering upon Valerie for a moment. As I continued to grow further from Valerie, a lingering feeling in my stomach told me to talk to her, but I couldn't understand why.
As I continued forward, the sound of slight distress caught my ears, causing me to turn around and notice crooks in masks began swarming around a defenseless Valerie, each of the crooks armed with bats and tasers. I grunted softly as I became a witness to the crazed attack against a mother.
"Your stupid husband took everything away from us and you still dare to show your face here? You're one stupid woman..." A man sneered, stepping closer to Valerie, invading her personal space.
"Careful, Bear, you don't want to hurt her kid," The second crook chuckled darkly, pressing Valerie from the other side, cornering her into an alleyway.
I grit my teeth as I watched the situation take place, glancing over at Momo and Karin, who were engrossed in their conversation. Surrounding my feet in wind, I bolted off urgently, using the wind element to silent my steps.
Momo felt her phone buzzing, taking it out of her back pocket and noticed a text from me then looked behind her, noticing I was gone. "What..? How did he disappear without us knowing..?"
Karin heard Momo's confused mutter, looking back as well, noticing I was missing also. "Where did he go?"
Momo looked back at Karin, showing her my text message. "He said that Charlotte called him. He's gonna meet with us at the plaza."
"Mmm, alright...let's hope he's safe. The Spades don't take kindly to outsiders even if they are associated with us," Karin said, continuing forward to the plaza ahead.
"Yeah..." Momo replied quietly, hesitantly following Karin while looking around to see if she could spot me.
Valerie grunted as her back gently hit against the wall, her eyes gleaming with a mix of fear and resilience, her arms shielding her daughter with her life. "You four are making a huge mistake..! When my fiancee finds out what you're doing, you'll be under the jail..!"
The leader of the crooks laughed softly, slamming his hand against the wall and pinning Valerie between himself and the brick cage behind her and grabbed her wrist. "You should've stayed in the Heart District, Mama. Your bodyguards have done a terrible job, letting you travel so far out here alone..."
Valerie grunted softly as she struggled against the crook's hold, her eyes flashing with fear and defiance. "Let me go..! Please, I'll give you whatever you want, I have my daughter with me for crying out loud!"
The second crook behind the leader let out a chilling chuckle, looking Valerie up and down with a wicked grin. "Maybe we could send her all neat to Fredrick...I mean, if she wants to make amends, she should offer something other than papers.." He sneered, riding his baton up her leg and to her skirt.
Suddenly, the lights of the alleyway began to flicker, black lightning crackling around the poles and the raw energy of the lightning causing the bulbs to pop and shatter. The crooks were now alarmed, scanning around the alleyway for any combatants.
The leader signalled for the other three to find the combatant, staying behind with Valerie and taking out his military knife. He pointed it at Valerie, holding it at her neck. "Make a single sound and I'll kill you and your spawn..."
Valerie gulped fearfully, too afraid to even make a squeak in fear for her life and her daughter's. She nodded, staying on place and watching as the leader followed behind his crew, her legs quivering with fear and barely strong enough to support her body.
The first crook peeked around the corner, his eyes widening as he noticed a flock of ravens swarming toward their way, his body ducking quickly to avoid their swarm. The other crooks noticed the ravens as well, splitting up to avoid the flock and guarded their faces from their talons and beaks.
The swarm of raven began to leave into the sky, laughing and crowing loudly in triumph. Each of the crooks lowered their guards, looking ahead of them and noticing me standing in the middle of the alleyway, the feathers from the ravens slowly falling back upon my cloak.
"Four clowns...one damsel, and a city on edge. Tell me boys...do you like magic tricks?" I asked, my eyes scanning around the alleyway at the crooks.
The leader stared at me, looking back at his allied and gesturing for the other three to take me down. The three nodded, charging toward me with their weapons ready to strike me with lethal damage.
The first crook swung his bat, but I swiftly dodged his swift and countered with a devastating liver blow then grabbed the back of his head, smashing his face with a rising knee, knocking him to the ground. The crooks fell to the ground in deep pain, his face stinging from his broken nose and his stomach aching with a bruised liver.
Valerie gasped in slight awe, her gaze shifting up to me with a glimpse of hope and safety. She used her arm to cover her daughter's eyes, shielding her from the violence happening in front of them.
The leader noticed the other two hesitating, a mix of frustration and panic settling within his nerves. "What are you two doing? Get him!"
I adjusted my black gloves, a dark smirk stretching across my face. "It's time to send your tent of torn cards crumbling down..."
The third crook charged at me with his taser, aiming to taze my midsection, but a flash of red energy rushed around my body just as his taser connected, Jigoku's Energy allowing me to endure the voltage. The crook grunted with shock, pulling away and taking out his pistol and firing a bullet at me, the gunshot causing Valerie to scream and the baby to cry.
The crook panted heavily as he held his pistol in front of him, the smoke leaving the barrel of the gun. The leader and his partner watched with anticipation, watching as my body dropped to the ground, a pool of red substance growing beneath me.
"Fuck, man...you actually killed that guy?" The second crook asked, glancing at the third with a smile of disbelief. "Good shot, I guess you still have The Big One's teaching."
"Yeah...yeah! I got that bitch!" The crook celebrated, spitting down on my body.
Valerie clutched her baby for dear life, tears of hopelessness welling in her eyes as she stared at me on the ground. "No...get up! Get up, please!"
Bear laughed at Valerie's begs and pleas, turning toward her and watching as she sunk down the wall with lifeless eyes. "He's gone now, Mama. A fool who wanted to play hero..."
The crooks began to gather around Valerie like vultures, one of them reaching down to grab her until a bloody tendril shot up, piercing through the hand of the third crook. The crook yelled out in pain, the tendril splitting and latching onto his hand like a spider coiling on its prey.
"What the fuck?!" Bear exclaimed, looking over at me and noticing me still on the ground, his mind racing with questions.
"Where are you looking?" My voice sounded beside Bear, catching his attention immediately.
I grunted as I struck his jaw with a crushing Dark Destiny Flash, a pulse of shadow energy circling around my hand upon impact. The blow sent Bear crashing into a dumpster down the alley, the impact echoing down the corridors.
Without missing a beat, I rushed toward the third crook, slinging him toward the wall then chased after him and cloaked my body in black lightning. With a bellow, I bolted toward him with an electrifying step up knee strike, causing his head to snap back hard against the wall, breaking the surface slightly.
I chuckled coldly as I held onto him, stepping down and pulling him along for a running bulldog finish against the concrete, using dark wind energy to cushion my own fall. The third crook became unresponsive, concussed from the disastrous heavy blows.
'Who is this guy..? He's kicking our asses!' The second crook thought to himself, glancing between Valerie and me, watching as I stood up.
"You can end this game by simply walking away...or not. It is your fate to decide," I said cryptically, adjusting my mask with a cold smirk on my face.
The second crook grit his teeth, rushing backwards toward Valerie and taking out his hand gun, pointing it at her head. "I don't know who you are, but step any closer and I'll blow this bitch's head off! Her and her annoying child! Do you know who this is?!"
I took a step forward, black lightning crackling around my body, my grin slightly widening. "Your fate is sealed.."
"Don't fuck with me!" The crook yelled, cocking back the hammer of his pistol and pressing it against Valerie's head.
"Please, stop this!" Valerie cried out, her breathing quickening as her heart began pounding against her chest, her daughter's cries growing louder.
"I will shoot this bitch! Don't test me, Darkwing!" The crook threatened, staring at me and noticed my movements had stopped. "Yeah...that's right. This chick ain't no normal gal, buddy."
"This is the Vice Mayor of Royal Creek, Fredrick's image! And this dumb butterfly decided to flutter on over here, thinking shit is sweet!" The crook yelled, kicking Valerie's side.
Valerie yelped out in pain, trying to crawl away to safety, but the crook grabbed onto her hair. She begged for mercy, reaching out with her free hand to make him release her. She groaned painfully as the crook shoved her back down, the baby screaming out in distress.
"Now...to finish the job..." The crook said, aiming his pistol at Valerie with a wicked grin on his face.
Just as he was about to pull the trigger, a dark line of energy shot down at his gun, slicing it in two and rendering it useless. The second crook's eyes widened in disbelief, turning around and noticing I was missing.
Turning back around, he could only let out a gasp before I struck his face with a wrath induced palm strike against the core of his body. Standing him back up, I began striking each of his pressure points, shutting off his nervous system.
"Destroy him..."
Listening to Jigoku's whispers, I let out a Tribal Howl, awakening my Jigoku Mode and lifted the crook up, slamming him to the ground with a ground breaking uranage. The second crook's body was caved into the ground, leaving him with only an inch of his life.
Valerie, now frightened and adrenaline rushing through her veins, took this moment to get up and run for her life. As she ran like the wind, Bear rushed out of the shadows and grabbed her, taking her away into the distance.
"No!! Let me go! Somebody, help me!" Valerie screamed out in distress, the wind leaving her body and fainting from the raw adrenaline.
Without hesitation, I manipulated the feathers on my cloak to form wings, spreading them out wide and focused wind energy throughout my body. With a strong flap, I took flight in the air, taking pursuit of Bear to save Valerie.
