The third class in the morning passed by quickly, and once the bell for recess rang, the students of Senior Class 2 all made their way to the playground. After all, the last class of the day was Physical Education, so everybody took the chance to enjoy themselves to the fullest.

Jack had found a basketball somewhere and was shooting hoops with a few classmates on the basketball court at the edge of the playground. He really seemed to have inherited the athletic gene from African Americans, his skills in basketball were pretty impressive. He even attracted a few girls from other classes, who stood outside the court watching the game.

"Boss, look, that three-pointer Jack made just now was awesome, he scored from so far away," Zhao Xiaotian said animatedly, as though Jack’s success was a reflection of his own prestige.

Leng Xuan smiled slightly, ready to speak, when suddenly, someone called out his name from behind. The voice was soft, but he heard it clearly. Turning around, he saw a school-uniform-clad, bashful-faced, sunbathed beauty!

"Sister-in-law, are you here to see my boss for something? Should I leave you two alone?" Zhao Xiaotian said teasingly when he saw Zhou Li.

Zhou Li’s cheeks turned red, and she shot Zhao Xiaotian a look. What was he talking about? She and Leng Xuan weren’t at that stage yet. But for some reason, Zhao Xiaotian’s calling her ’sister-in-law’ kindled a feeling of secret joy in her, though she didn’t reply to him and instead spoke softly to Leng Xuan, "I went to your class earlier, but you weren’t there. I heard you had PE class, so I came looking for you."

Leng Xuan’s expression changed slightly as he asked, "Is there something you need?"

"My brother asked you to come to our house for lunch!" she said, and her shyness made her lower her head, not daring to look at Leng Xuan’s face.

Leng Xuan paused for a moment, then replied with an easy smile, "Alright, I’ll head over straight after school. Uh, are you going back too?"

"Yeah, I’ll go back too. Wait for me at the school gate after class. I need to head back to mine now,..." Zhou Li finished her sentence and finally breathed a sigh of relief.
