SEX WITH MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCÉ-Chapter 221 - 220
Chapter 221: Chapter 220
- KILLIAN -
“Your girlfriend? What the fuck, Liam?!” I rage, dragging him inside my bedroom. The women are downstairs, spending time together to bond.
“What else did you expect me to do? Let your woman peel the hair off your other one?!” Liam asks, sounding just as distressed as I was. His outward gesture as he spoke proves his point.
I groan. I don’t like this one bit.
“Why on earth is she here? I didn’t tell her of my coming.” I say under my breath, trying to sound calm even though it’s not working. Anyone can tell how distressed I am by my voice.
Both my hands make their way to my head, wading through my hair as it push the strands backwards. My hair falls back on my face after my fingers evacuate the spot.
“I didn’t know your arrival was a secret in the first place.” Liam confesses. I grunt in distress. He alerted Kate, not with bad intentions but with genuine naivety. I doubt either of us would’ve expected her coming. And at least, not this early.
I always wanted us to come out. I wanted to be so much more for her, with her but I don’t understand what Hazel is so afraid of. Or maybe I do and maybe I don’t care. I don’t know what to think. I’m furious.
“What do you want me to do? It’s your call, brother.” Liam’s voice rings in my ears. I don’t have an answer to that. I’m starting to not want to be patient with Hazel but I think that will make me an insufferable partner.
“Keep this charade going.” I struggle to say. My eyes returns to Liam. He has this glow in his eyes and a mischievous grin plastered on his face. “If you think it will burn me way more than I’d let on, then you’re joking.”
Liam raises his hands in defeat. “I didn’t say nada, Killian.” I want to wipe that grin off. “Having conflicted thoughts already?”
I scoff at his playfulness. A chuckle echoes in my room.
“I need Hazel occupied and you just happen to be the best person to do the job.” At least, he’s the only person I trust with everything I have in me.
Liam’s grin suddenly fades. “Is this about what we discussed last night?” He asks. There’s that deadly aura masking out his gaze. I nod slightly. It is.
Last night when I was interrupted, Liam gave me a gift. It was poison and every other thing the murderer used to kill my parents. Of course I couldn’t have Hazel seeing those so I kept the box in my closet but it dissolved every desire I had at that moment. It made me thirsty for something darker, something more devious and I knew I would fuck my frustration and rage into her if we continued so I did not proceed.
Not when she’s injured and not when I don’t ever want to be the one to hurt her.
I let out a sigh. The man I am when I am with her. . . The man I am willing to be for her. . . Yet she still has conflicted thoughts about the two of us being public about our relationship. My brows crease as I try to think about the positive aspects of things.
If Hazel continues this act with my brother, however daunting it is, it’ll leave her way too occupied with the lie to realise my distance. I’ll be near, of course, but I don’t need her to witness this dark side of me. Nor do I need her to know how horribly my mood may change when the justice I’ve so much desired for decades is carried out by my hands. I wonder if what I’d derive is exactly what I have always hoped for but I do know whatever it is I feel afterwards, satisfaction will be one of it.
Liam cocks his head to the side, his eyes shut closed and his lips pursed in a line to form a maniacal smile. “Whatever you do, leave the organs and head intact for me.” He blurts out. How he looks so carefree while saying something so sinister is thrilling. Liam doesn’t want to be present during the extermination. I haven’t asked why but I didn’t need to to have a guess.
He also did not dive too deep into interrogation so not to find something that will dissipate his want for revenge. Something like the murderer changing and possibly having a home. I do not care if the murderer has changed. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
To hell with it. I will butcher every member of that family if they even exist and if I have to. An eye for an eye is the old saying, in this case, it’s a dead man for numerous bloodshed. Not even a foetus will make me hold off on what I plan to do.
A smirk forms on my lips as I stare at him. “I’d bring her alive so you can have the pleasure of dissecting it out of her yourself.” I say.
“Sure.” Liam cooes.
“And Liam,” I call, walking to the door.
“Yes, brother?” Liam humours my tone.
“I don’t care if you’re my brother, lay one finger on Hazel the way you did earlier and I’ll be sure to cut it off.”
Liam’s eyes open. He stares at me with fascination. I don’t know what he’s thinking but he shouldn’t try me. “Mhm.” He responds, his typical calm way.
“I love you, little brother.” I say, walking out of my bedroom and leaving him inside.
“I love you too.” Trails from across the room. The door comes shut. My smirk widens. As he should.
