Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth-Chapter 1034: Suspecting There’s Something Wrong with You Two
"How many months?" Su Bai frowned, questioning Su Wanxin.
At this point, Su Wanxin couldn’t hide it anymore and had to confess, "Two months. I was thinking of telling you all in person when you came over this time."
Su Bai let out a cold snort and questioned her extensively, asking both relevant and irrelevant questions, before finally getting up and leaving.
Fu Shihan watched him go upstairs, then turned to Su Wanxin and gently asked, "Did things fall apart with the little secretary? Didn’t use protection?"
"Don’t meddle in Su Bai’s affairs." Su Wanxin tapped his leg, "Things are a bit complicated."
"You know I’m most interested in complicated matters."
"You’re not allowed to be interested in this one!"
Fu Shihan was silent for a moment, then smiled meaningfully.
If she won’t tell, then go ask Su Yao. After all, Su Yao is loose-lipped and can spill anything.
However, since the little secretary is out of the picture, then...
Fu Shihan lowered his eyelids, his eyes flickering.
Seeing the mischievous smile on his lips, Su Wanxin knew someone was in for trouble.
As for who that might be, she couldn’t quite figure it out yet, but one thing was certain: he was definitely going to mess with Su Bai.
Feeling physically and mentally exhausted, Su Wanxin went upstairs to work overtime. She buried herself in work in the study, unconsciously busying herself until ten o’clock.
The study door was knocked, and when Su Wanxin looked up, it was Su Bai.
"Why aren’t you asleep yet? Even pregnant, you don’t take a break."
Su Bai stepped over, glanced at the documents on the desk, and frowned.
"Once Yaoyao’s engagement is over, come home and stay for a while, take good care of the pregnancy!"
"Brother, I can’t stay idle."
"What’s so hard about staying idle? Just eat and sleep! If you can’t sleep, then go shopping and buy clothes, I’ll give you money!"
Every time he saw his sister working so hard, he felt like Fu Shihan was exploiting her labor.
That brat, letting his sister work so much even when she’s pregnant, truly heartless.
"I have money. Brother, my brokerage company is especially profitable, it’s been ranked first here for several years in a row."
Su Wanxin’s smile was bright and boastful.
"When you get married, I’ll give you a big gift, how about that?"
The conversation circled back to Su Bai. His expression changed subtly as he raised his hand to ruffle Su Wanxin’s hair like kneading dough.
"Don’t worry about unnecessary things, I’m not at the point where you need to rush me into marriage."
"Why wouldn’t you be?"
Su Wanxin pulled him to sit down and whispered.
"Su Yao is getting engaged this year and will definitely be married by next year at the latest. You and our eldest brother still don’t even have a girlfriend. Do you know what mom told me?"
"What did she say this time?"
"She said she’s beginning to wonder if you two have orientation issues."
Su Bai: "..."
"Fine if you don’t want to get married, but at least get a girlfriend to appease the family, right? I remember you have quite a few female friends, don’t you like any of them?"
"Yeah." Su Bai nodded, "My little sister is too outstanding, so I can’t see anyone else as good enough. So, this is your and Su Yao’s responsibility."
"Tsk, that’s what you call finding a scapegoat."
Su Wanxin felt a headache and cleverly didn’t bring up the matter of the secretary again.
She knew Su Bai wasn’t exactly discriminatory towards bisexual people, but he certainly couldn’t easily accept it either.
After all, he couldn’t confirm if his girlfriend might just dump him tomorrow for another woman. Such a scenario was too overwhelming for Su Bai; he just couldn’t accept it.
