Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth-Chapter 1053: My Dad Told Me Not to Play with Fools
Right now, it’s not too late, and under the night sky, the streetlights along the pebble path are lit.
The weather has been gradually warming up lately, and there are quite a few kids playing outside.
Su Bai walked with Yangyang to the side of the soccer field, looked at the children on the field, then looked down at him and asked, "Do you want to play?" 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Yangyang turned his head to glance and refused, "No."
"Don’t know how to play?"
"It doesn’t look that hard, I just don’t want to play." Yangyang answered seriously, "It’s best not to do intense exercise after a meal, just a casual stroll is fine."
Su Bai was amused by his words, "You’re young and already so particular. Who taught you that?"
"Grandpa said it."
Yangyang grew up in the Fu Mansion, raised single-handedly by several of the Fu Family elders.
He stood by the field, watching the people playing, with not even a hint of interest to join them.
He doesn’t like being around strangers very much, and... these people don’t seem very smart.
"Hey!"
Just as Yangyang was about to pull Su Bai away, someone suddenly ran towards them.
"Wait a minute!"
The boy quickly ran up to them, panting, and asked Yangyang.
"Do you want to play with us?"
Yangyang shook his head, rejecting him mercilessly, "No, I don’t even know you."
"...I live next door to you!"
He’s seen him several times already, how could he not recognize him?!
"Oh." Yangyang thought seriously and still didn’t recognize him.
He looked up at Su Bai, "Uncle, it’s getting late, let’s go back, I haven’t done my homework yet."
"Alright, alright, let’s go back." Su Bai smiled, waved goodbye to the little friend who came to chat, and then took him home.
When they got home, Yangyang went straight into the study and finished all his homework in a matter of minutes, then ran to Lin Rui’s room to play a couple of games before going back to his room to shower and get ready for bed.
Su Bai had been sharing a room with him these days. He pushed open the door, saw Yangyang sitting on the bed playing with his phone, and walked over, casually asking, "What are you doing?"
"Texting."
"To whom???"
Curious, Su Bai craned his neck, thinking he was playing games, but unexpectedly, he was chatting with someone.
"Classmate," Yangyang answered honestly, "They’re asking which school I’m going to for elementary, saying they want to go to the same one."
Su Bai knew kids these days matured early, even kindergartners played with phones skillfully.
Yesterday, he saw a news story about a five-year-old who used his mom’s phone to buy a bunch of toys online, and she only found out when the packages arrived.
Before he knew it, Fu Xiaoyang was about to start school too.
Su Bai gazed at him for a moment, then smiled and sat by the bed to chat with him.
"Do you know which school you’re going to?"
"Yes, the second elementary."
"Really not going abroad?" Su Bai thought he was joking before, but it turned out he really planned to stay.
"No, I want to be with Mom and Dad." Yangyang confidently replied, "There’s nothing fun abroad anyway."
Where Fu Shihan and Su Wanxin are is where he wants to be.
Fu Xiaoyang thought about the conversation he had with Fu Shihan today at school, and couldn’t help but grin widely.
When is the next parent-teacher meeting?
Maybe... suggest to the teacher tomorrow that it’s time for a parent-teacher meeting!
"What are you giggling about?" Su Bai had been watching him, finding this kid a bit amusing.
