Chapter 7: Chapter 7: It's Not My Turn to Warm the Bed

Wanxin Su had braced herself to shamelessly force her way in, but she didn't expect to hear such words, which instantly eased her mood a bit.

Successfully going upstairs, she arrived outside Fu Shihan's office.

After a moment's hesitation, Wanxin Su raised her hand and knocked on the door. After hearing a response from inside, she pushed the door and entered.

The spacious and cold office was just like it had been years ago, nothing had changed.

Wanxin Su looked at the man in front of the desk, who was reading a document. His tall nose was adorned with gold-rimmed glasses, and his handsome profile exuded an unapproachable coldness.

Wanxin Su watched him carefully and greedily until he picked up a pen to sign the document, and then slowly lifted his head.

Almost instantly, the passionate emotions in Wanxin Su's eyes disappeared, turning detached and indifferent.

"Do you need something?"

Fu Shihan, seeing that she had been acting like she was invisible, asked coldly.

Wanxin Su was startled for a moment, then spoke: "President Fu, please... let me see him."

Fu Shihan's gaze swept over her body before finally fixing on her face.

The scratches were too obvious to ignore.

"Is this the self-torture strategy you plan to use today?"

The pain on Wanxin Su's face still burned, and she naturally understood what he meant.

With a slight smile, she denied: "I was scratched by a stray cat on the way here, making President Fu laugh."

A flash of sharpness passed through Fu Shihan's eyes.

"With your abilities, even if you don't come back here, you could still get a handsome salary. You know that once you show up, I won't let you go."

Fu Shihan looked at her and asked in a very light voice.

"Do you still want to come back to the company? Between 60% of the shares and your life, you should know which is lighter and which is heavier."

"President Fu might disagree with my choice, but I know very well that money is more important than life."

Fu Shihan sneered thoughtfully and nodded. "So how do you plan to beg me?"

Wanxin Su: "... What does President Fu wish for me to do?"

"Does your question mean that you'll agree to anything I ask you to do?"

"I don't really have any value to use, and there are so many beautiful women around President Fu, the likes of warming the bed certainly wouldn't fall to me. As for the rest, it's nothing more than running errands and working hard for money, which of course, I will agree to."

"Are you so sure it won't be your turn?"

Wanxin Su was not about to take the hat Fu Shihan was trying to put on her.

He moved his gaze inch by inch over her body, scrutinizing her from top to bottom.

Especially certain important parts, he looked even more closely, as if she had no clothes on at all.

Wanxin Su clenched her teeth, but no matter how firm she was, her ears still turned red.

Fu Shihan had his fill of looking before slowly withdrawing his gaze, unexpectedly changing the subject.

"There's a project in Southern China that ST wants to snag. If things go as expected, their company representative should already be downstairs. I want you to handle it."

"S...T?" As Wanxin Su thought of Shen Xiaochen whom she met downstairs, she didn't know whether to cry or to laugh. "President Fu, isn't that inappropriate?"

"What's the reason?"

"Emotionally speaking, Miss Shen is your fiancee who has not yet entered our family. Logically speaking, I've never been involved with this project before. If there's a mistake, it's the Fu Group's face on the line."

Wanxin Su couldn't understand, President Fu was even marrying Shen Xiaochen, so why this behavior?

Even though he hadn't finished speaking, Wanxin Su still understood his meaning.

He didn't intend to let go of the Southern China project, and ST couldn't play the sympathy card either.

He was that kind of person; no one could snatch meat out of his mouth unless the meat was spoiled and he didn't want it.
