Everyone turns in the same direction as the goofball rounds the close corner with his waistband in the grip of both hands as if he was just using the bathroom.

The Izanagi Captain falls to his side, but laughs it off with everyone else(except Saku and Laban).

Saku, knowing Katsu’s true intentions, raises an eyebrow towards his rival’s ingenious, playful personality.

Saku(thinking): *What were you up to, Katsu?*

From the ground, Katsu makes eye contact with the Yin Vessel, their Anjell Eyes EyeEngaging for a brief moment...

Katsu(telepathy): *None-ya business...*

Before they disengage and Katsu looks at his own savior coming to the rescue.

With her Eyelien activated, Laban DaeMon, another one of Katsu’s skeptics, leans in closer to Saku’s ear while everyone else is focused on watching Shelly dash over and help her own purpose to his feet.

Laban DaeMon(whispers): "Don’t you worry Saki, he’s not slick.

Like a drug testing ’Jake’, I ain’t afraid to make sure that son of a bitch actually whipped his dick out and pissed...

Saku(whispers): "I appreciate the dedication and initiative Laban, but it’s fine.

All I need from you today is to help protect Sanpaku’s people.

As Katsu gets to his feet and Shelly helps brush him off, Saku looks at Charybdis and his Stoner Rifle strapped to his back. Then at the Glock holstered to Sol and Drakania’s waists.

The two weakest of the group have two of the same handguns the ex-Don had gifted the winning side after her defeat by Shelly.

Saku(whispers): "Thanks to you, we have all the supplies we’ll need.

There are guns for civilians willing to add protective support, and not to mention a freaking tank."

The Valkyrie blooded woman blushes from the recognition being given to her by one of the only two people who mean something to her.

Saku: "If it weren’t for your cashe of artillery, I would feel a lot less comfortable about our ability to hold back an entire army."

Laban DaeMon(whispering): "But Saki!

I don’t have a SoulSeiõrShield like Skalmönd and the Amazonian...

If I get hit with a bullet in a vital, I’m fucked."

With her attention shifting from Shelly and Katsu, Itsuka notices Laban’s face close to Saku’s, whispering, but she can’t hear their words.

Saku(whispering): "Hehe...

Don’t start acting modest just to get pity from me, Laban.

If it’s only one or two people firing at you, your symbiote and your Valkyrie instincts should be enough to dodge bullets and help take out hostiles."

The Daemon’s lowers her sight and head, looking at the ground. She takes in the otherwise encouraging words from her own ’God’ and a single chuckle escapes her nose.

Laban DaeMon(whispers): "If I do die, my Saki, will you take care of my funeral?"

Saku(whispers): "Laban, stop it!"

The annoyed tone behind Saku’s response slightly surprises the witch in love.

The chosen Yin Vessel activates his blessed left Anjell Eye, releasing it’s black aura with a white stripe down the middle. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

No longer needing to hear their conversation, as soon as Itsuka sees the activation, she steps in.

Itsuka: "Saku what are you doing?!

You’re not supposed to be using your Anjell Eye!"

Her loud response makes everyone look over to the young Izanami captain as Katsu and Shelly rejoin the rest of the group, seeing what she’s talking about.

Saku: "Don’t worry..."

He looks over to Katsu without engaging their blessed symbiotes.

Saku: "After the days rest, Katsu and I should be fully charged and ready to help.

Isn’t that right, Katsu?"

The scheming Yang Vessel shows everyone his friendly smile and activates his own Anjell Eye once again.

Katsu: "Yup!"
