Shattering Humanity-Chapter 429: A Shared (Imaginary) Friend
’He responded, "If only I had the strength to resist you or could rely on a strong supporter.
The angels said, "O Lot! We are the messengers of your Lord. They will never reach you. So travel with your family in the dark of night, and do not let any of you look back, except your wife. She will certainly suffer the fate of the others. Their appointed time is the morning. Is the morning not near?
When Our command came, We turned the cities upside down and rained down on them clustered stones of baked clay, marked by your Lord O Prophet. And these stones are not far from the pagan wrongdoers!" -Surah Hud 11:81-83

[Paloponnese, Greece]
{Current Day}
In the night, underneath the starry sky with zero light pollution, SeiõrSnow continues to fall.
A strong gust of wind blows through the circular ruins to the ancient hillside Mycenae civilization.
In the same spot as before, an ambiguous black cloak flaps behind the tallest of the remaining walls and an elegantly prideful woman’s voice can be heard slowly chuckling and then talking to herself.
AgaMeMnon DæMon: "Ohohoh...Now that is quite the plot twist...
The sudden shift in SoulSeiõr of that 2nd Generation...
It seems Skalmönd is fighting her."
The mysterious and hidden woman’s stretching arms can be seen over the broken stone cover and she releases a quiet, high pitched, stretching moan of relief.
AgaMeMnon DæMon: "Well, if it wasn’t a haughty feeling of nostalgia sensing Skalmönd’s SoulSeiõr return to this world..."
Once again the woman chuckles to herself and she can be heard jumping in place on one foot to the next. Like a sports player warming themselves up before a big game.
AgaMeMnon DæMon: "...I was expecting to feel neither of their presences again, but life can only try it’s best to deceive the exulting conquerers like myself.
So it really has been almost 1,000 years since I was forced to grow up and give you up, but it’s an alleviation to know you found someone new.."
Behind the busted ancient wall, an all black cloak with Camphor Tree patches stops flapping as the wind calms down and the individual inside stops mini-hopping.
From in the dark shadow of the raised hood, two bright blue eyes glow and contort from the DæMon’s uncontrollable smiling cheeks.
AgaMeMnon DæMon: "...But you are just as much of a vainglorious domineer as when you were my imaginary friend, Phæstis."
...
Aiden: "If what that Saku guy told me is true and if both Katsu and Shelly believe in me..."
The brainiac carefully walks over, brushing off the dirt and ash, the text on the heavily protected and unburned machine reads:
"-FLIGHT CRASH RECORDER-
DO NOT TOUCH OR TRANSFER FROM POSITION! IF FOUND, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES!"
The rebel ignores the written request and picks up the heavy object used to record multiple forms of data.
Aiden: "... I’ll have to refrain from consuming knowledge, and start creating.
Not for the sake of being the most pragmatic compared to her, but to use my own sagacity to help my physically stronger friends defeat their... our enemies."
...
[Faithful Friends Firehouse]
{Current Day}
SeiõrSnow steadily continues to softly fall on the shingles of the firehouse rooftop.
Away from the conflict happening on northern shores, in a small brick shed just outside of the Faithful Friends Firehouse, there are the sounds of a what can only be described as "amateur engineering" being muffled.
A welding gun fusing metals together, and the white hot light that the tool creates can be seen through the crack at the bottom of the mostly closed vinyl overhead door.
After their long playing time earlier, both Xaaydagaay and Friend are eating outside in the alley like space between the two brick red structures.
Still not use to her human hands Xaaydagaay is eating dry cereal loops from a dog bowl. Next to her is the four legged furry buddy, Friend. He is eating dry dog food and the two wag their tails.
With a little bit of food left in each other’s bowls, Xaaydagaay and Friend look at each other while chewing and them switch bowls to give the other a taste of different food.
A high pitched whining from an electric saw cutting through metal replaces the noise inside the new "workshop".
The ear irritating sound makes both the canine and half orca woman quickly raise their heads, but not feeling threatened the two mammals return to finish their food.
Everything then goes quiet until the overhead door opens halfway making the two outside look over.
Stepping out from the shed, Aiden ducks under the only opening in the tiny building, and uses an attached string to pull the garage door back down behind him.
The young genius has grease marks over his face as he takes his glasses off and wipes sweat from his forehead. After a deep breath of relief he looks at the small cuts and splinters on his hands.
Aiden: "These are nothing compared to what the others have to go through."
The maturing young man tightens his lightly damaged hands into a fist.
Aiden: "I have to keep working hard for Katsu and Shelly..."
He looks over at the set of excited animals staring at him with empty bowls and smiles before conversating to the feral minded mammals.
Aiden: "Oh boy, you guys!
If this prototype works, you don’t know how excited I’ll be!"
With a glimpse of hope in his brown eyes he looks up at the falling universal magic in the form of visible snow.
Aiden: "Whether they can be visibly witnessed or not, multiple forms of energy and their transformations are constantly surrounding us.
Since I can’t observe Seiõr energy other than this transformed, ’whistleblowing’ snow, I’ll have to rely on someone else who can, to confirm whether I’m making incremental progress or just wasting my time..."
Holding out his cut up hand, a single SeiõrSnow flake lands perfectly in his palm and the brainiac closes it into a fist.
Aiden: "But if I’m right..."
He opens up his fist and as presumed, the flakes has disappeared but his hand is visibly healing faster.
Aiden: "...If I’m right, it’ll be amazing to think, I was the one to discover the variable to the single most debated equation that none of the greatest minds could solve.
If Seiõr really is the ’dark energy’ that has baffled physicists and dominates almost 70% of our universe’s total..."
Stopping mid sentence, and realizing he’s lecturing two beasts who can’t understand him, Aiden is slightly embarrassed with himself but clears his throat to collect himself.
Aiden: "Ahem.
Oh who am I kidding, like you two can understand anything about what I’m talking about.
I’m not even sure if I know what I’m trying to make myself believe, haheha."
The #1 brain of Takamagahara makes his way to the front door of the main building, through the short hallway with a door on each side, and into the back garage where Saku and Laban are.
The two animals follow him inside and once they see Saku awake, and putting his damp hair back up in a hair tie, they run over to him excitedly jumping all over him.
As Laban is putting her socks back on she is about it intervene but quickly remembers the free time she just got with her love. She resumes putting her socks and shoes back on.
Once he calms the two down Saku pets both Friend and Xaaydagaay on their heads before noticing Aiden and his dirty face.
Not the best of acquaintances, the delinquent side eyes the nervous bookworm.
Remembering that the mentally gifted "nerd" had been staying away from the battle with Friend and Xaaydagaay, there is no hostility in Saku’s voice as he talks to Aiden while continuing to scratch and pet his two companions.
Saku: "They didn’t give you any trouble, did they?"
Aiden: "N-No, not at all."
He adjusts his glasses while nervously navigating through a civil conversation with the infamous delinquent.
Aiden: "I was out searching for something from the helicopter wreckage and all those two do is chase each other around and nap, ehehe."
Laban finishes tying her shoes back on her feet and pops to her feet before reaching in her back pocket for the golden blunt case.
Laban DaeMon: "Since that ’bird’ is pretty much useless now, we might as well pick clean whatever’s salvageable.
What did you find?"
Now feeling a sense of comfort from the pair who usually belittle him, Aiden gets a slight jolt of excitement as he becomes fully engaged in the idea.
Aiden: "Oh yea!
The two of you are perfect for helping me so I can run hopefully run a few tests with my new ’prototype’!"
Laban DaeMon & Saku: "... Prototype?"
Aiden(nods): "I designed and construcred it in the shed next door. There’s a crafting bench in there with an abundance of equipment.
Everything is more than less in place and since you two can observe Seiõr, I can get your opinions!"
Saku and Laban look at each other in confusion but quickly shrug it off, following the overexcited inventor back outside.
