To thank them for bringing her to a horror house which she really enjoyed, Cayenne brought her friends to the closest clothing store and bought them a change of clothes. After that, they went to have some sweets at Daleβs cafΓ© before finally making their way to her house.
βI forgot to bring these earlier.β Cayenne expressed while handing them a gift bag. βI got them from my last trip.β
βWow! Really?! Thank you, Yen.β Faith even hugged her to express her gratitude. βI must have saved the world in my last life to be able to meet you in this life.β
βWhat about me? What did you save in your last life to meet me in this life?β Noah susses out with scrutinizing gaze.
βThe universe.β
.....
Cayenne couldnβt help but laugh at them while shaking her head. There was never a day that the two of them wonβt bicker as far as she knew.
βMartin, can you bring the package here in the living room? I will sort them out with my friends.β
βIs it the one that arrived this morning?β
βDid we receive something else?β
βYes, Ms. Yen. Another package came this afternoon according to James.β
βIβll ask Stefan if he ordered anything online. Anyway, just get the one that we received this morning.β
βYes, maβam.β
Martin left immediately and called his colleagues for help since several packages arrived early in the morning. Cayenne also called Stefan to inquire about the other package that came because she didnβt want to open anything which wasnβt hers.
βThat must be the package that Monet sent. I donβt know what are the contents but she said that you can use them to raise funds.β Stefan stated when his wife asked about the package. βShe also said that you can call her once you check the content and ask anything if you have questions.β
βOkay. Iβll check it later.β
βAlso, she sent us an email about the photoshoot. Letβs talk about it tonight after dinner.β
βGot it.β
When the call ended, Cayenne returned to the living room and found the huge boxes there. Martin was already opening them with a sharp cutter while Noah and Faith chatted.
βMs. Yen, do you need help with those?β Daisy asked the moment she came inside from her school as well.
βThereβs no need. I have friends who can help me. Just help your mom with our dinner. Whereβs Dalia? Didnβt you come home with her?β
βMy sisterβs class needed to perform something to get their clearance signed. We informed sir Kyle about it since he usually comes home late because of some school matters. He said heβd come and pick her up on his way home.β
βThatβs good to know. Go and change your clothes.β
βYes, Ms. Yen.β Daisy left to change her clothes and help her mother in the kitchen. Ζπeππππππ¨π·eπ‘.ππΌm
Cayenne cares for their helpers and their bodyguards so it was no longer new to Faith and Noah since they have visited her home several times already.
βHow are we going to sort them?β Noah asked when he saw the content of the boxes.
βLetβs separate all the clothes and toys. The toys will be divided between boys and girls, and the same goes for the clothes.β
βAre you going to give this to the foundations that we visited last time?β
βNo. I will be giving these to another orphanage. The orphanage isnβt huge and was supported by the local households only. I just heard of this orphanage from one of my fans who left a comment in my recent vlog.β
βArenβt these things expensive? You could have gotten more if you bought these things here.β Faith commented while looking at the items in her hands. βBesides, orphans wouldnβt really mind if you give them expensive or cheap things. To them, everything is the same.β
βActually, these things arenβt really expensive. Though I understand your point that we could give them more, but I was thinking about the quality of the things that I could give them. I wanted something that would last long since I wouldnβt be able to give them something all the time.β
βWell, thatβs also true.β Faith agreed unhesitant to her words. βThen, when do you plan to give these things? I have a little sister at home and she has a lot of things that she didnβt need anymore. Weβll do some decluttering and bring the ones that wonβt be needed to the orphanage.β
βThatβs a nice idea. Shall we tell our classmates who have siblings, too?β Noah added which brought a new idea to Cayenneβs mind. Instead of doing it on her own, why not ask her classmates to do the same and join her to do this? In that way, many people could help and many people will be helped.
βLetβs discuss it with them later in our group chat.β
The three of them continued sorting out the items while chatting about the orphanage that Cayenne discovered through a fan. She told them about the situation, the location, and how the locals tried to help this orphanage for the children to survive day by day.
Unlike orphanages that can be found in the city with many donations, this orphanage was found in a mountain area. At first, a couple picked up a child on the road and brought the child home. They even posted it online but no one responded to claim the baby. Of course, no stupid person would do that after throwing their child. Theyβd be sued for abandonment.
The department of childrenβs welfare responded to this post at that time and helped the child find a foster parent. Later on, this incident happened again and the same department helped. Time after time, this incident kept happening for a few months of interval and soon, the department of childrenβs welfare was beginning to suspect the nearby village that it was their own children that they neglected. Being a poor countryside village, they didnβt want the hassle of being under the limelight with many people beginning to judge them. In the end, they took the responsibility for these abandoned children and made a small home for them. If these villagers knew something about the law, they could have filed a case against the government agency. Unfortunately, they werenβt that knowledgeable about the laws governing their country.
Since this became part of their daily life, they no longer mind it.
