Though in the end, the explosion wasn’t actually big enough to harm either of us.

Once the dust and smoke settled, I looked down at the thing that had exploded. Though looking at it now, there really wasn’t much that was left of this thing after it had exploded.

What had exploded just now was a magic stone.

Since magic stones had the ability to absorb mana, I thought that they would be capable of absorbing the divine energy as well.

Both of them were a form of energy, though one of them was clearly on a higher level than the other. It seemed that this was a level that was on a completely different scale as well with how it had exploded.

After all, it wasn’t as if the divine energy that Queenie used was that strong in the first place.

The divine energy that Queenie possessed came from Insectum which had the property of propagation. That meant that it was only able to restore itself without actually making itself stronger.

So it could be said that this was only low grade divine energy.

Yet it was still enough to make the magic stone explode like this.

Albeit, this was only a low grade magic stone in the first place.

When Queenie recovered from the shock of the explosion, the way that she looked at me clearly showed that she blamed me for this.

The only thing that I could do was give a shrug and say in a helpless voice, "I didn’t think that it would explode like this."

I certainly knew that it wouldn’t work, but for it to explode all of a sudden like this...

No one would have been able to see this coming.

Queenie looked at me like this for a bit as if she was trying to force me into admitting that I had planned this, but I really couldn’t since I had no idea this was going to happen.

So in the end, she looked away as if she accepted that this was the truth.

Though it didn’t seem like she was about to test any of the other things that were here as well.

However, I didn’t let her do that as I took out a few more things and put them in front of her.

Queenie didn’t seem interested at first in the things that I put down, but that soon changed. She slowly looked at them as if she was noticing them for the first time.

That was because the scent of these things had drawn her in.

I had my experience from when this world was still a game world, so I knew what kind of things bugs wouldn’t be able to resist in this world. For someone as lazy as Queenie, this was twice as effective against her.

That was why she grabbed these things and swallowed them down before releasing divine energy again.

This time, the results weren’t the same as the magic crystal.

I really didn’t know what would work, so I had brought a bunch of different things with me in hopes that we would be able to find something that would work. It was just that none of these things really did what I had wanted them to do.

Though there was one interesting thing to note while we were doing these experiments.

It was the fact that most of them didn’t explode. In fact, most of them didn’t even break down from having the divine energy injected into them.

It was very different from the magic crystal where it had exploded from trying to contain the divine energy.

"It’s because they just have no compatibility with the divine energy at all, huh?" I couldn’t help muttering to myself as I watched all of this happen.

The magic stone was different because it had a property to it that allowed it to store energy in the form of mana. These items that I took out didn’t have the same property, so the divine energy that was flowing through them flowed right back out.

They couldn’t stop the divine energy from leaving them...

"Then it seems like only items that can hold energy will be able to do what I want them to do." I muttered to myself once more before taking something out.

As soon as this thing came out, Queenie looked over at me with a hungry look.

It was clear that she wanted to eat this thing, but I couldn’t let her have it since this was an important item. At the same time, this was a rare item that even I wasn’t able to get that easily.

This was something that I had gotten from the sages last time I was in the Sorcery Empire.

I never thought that I would need to use this thing, but I wanted to test it.

"Try injecting divine energy into this."

Queenie couldn’t help flinching when she heard this since the last time that she had done this, the item had exploded. Though this time, it wasn’t as if this item was weak like the one that I had used previously.

This time, it was a high grade magic stone that had been taken out.

Though that also made Queenie more afraid since there was no doubt that the explosion from a high grade magic stone would be much stronger than the explosion of a low grade magic stone.

"Just send one of the bugs to do it."

Queenie thought about it before giving a nod.

I also took full precaution and wrapped the magic stone in a barrier that isolated it just in case.

The bug filled with divine energy went into the barrier and pressed up against the magic stone, letting the divine energy out of its body.

However, the high grade magic stone didn’t blow up like the low grade magic stone did.

It seemed like the high grade magic stone was able to absorb this divine energy.
