?The reason for the protest was that the people were unhappy with the recent changes that we had implemented.

We handed out all the new seeds and had them change after the last harvest.

It had been over a month since the forceful changes that Noah had put in place and most of the fields were empty…Well, they weren't completely empty since there were still sprouts that came out of the soil.

It was just that it took too long compared to the usual crops that the citizens grew that they became anxious.

They didn't want to switch to these new crops in the first place, but they were forced to swap to the new crops because of the royal decree. As such, the only thing that they could do now was gather to protest this royal decree.

This was a matter of their livelihoods, so these people were ready to fight for it.

Haley just shook her head and said with a bitter smile, "It seems like you've underestimated how greedy they are. Once they smell blood in the water, they are like hungry sharks."

The prime minister knitted his brows even more when he heard this.

After a long silence, he said, "Let me handle this. I'll make sure that they rue the day that they chose to betray me."

Seeing this, I had no doubt that the prime minister would be able to take care of this without a problem, but there was something else that I had to say.
