SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 541 - 539: FAREWELL, GESALSI
Chapter 541: Chapter 539: FAREWELL, GESALSI
There is time for everything. A time to meet and a time to part.
That was exactly what was happening on this day.
After being in Gesalsi and staying loyally at the Royal Regale Hotel for three weeks, it was time for Diamond to say goodbye to the lavish lifestyle and return home.
She was returning home that day, though she would be arriving on the 13th, after two days.
Her flight was at 2 pm, however, despite that, she still woke up pretty early as usual, went to the gym and ogled some handsome men and beautiful women.
After that, she returned to her suite, freshened up, and visited the restaurant for a fresh breakfast buffet.
After enjoying a hearty meal, she visited the spa, where she got her last massage. While getting this wonderful massage, the kind masseurs and managers gave her several skincare gifts.
Receiving gifts wasn’t something that usually happened to her, so she was quite thrilled at getting that. And the givers were also relieved. After all, who knows if the guest would accept their heartfelt gift?
Anyway, after the trip to the massage parlor, she returned to her suite, where many gifts were waiting for her.
Seeing the many gifts organized nicely in the living room, Diamond looked at Iseul, feeling teary.
How could the hotel be so magnanimous and generous like that?
Her heart pounded wildly. And like a child, she went through the gift bags and grinned widely when she saw what she had been given.
There were gifts specially found at the hotel and nowhere else. And some of them were probably derived from her tastes. She got powdered coffee and tea leaves. The tea and coffee had been quite flavorful. Maybe it was winter, but she really liked drinking it whenever she had time.
There were many other things, but what she really loved was a compilation of photos that turned into two albums for her.
They were photos taken without her knowledge. However, if she wasn’t mistaken, there seemed to be such a service at the hotel. They take photos of the guests unaware. That way, the photos would come out naturally.
Seeing the photos briefly, she fell in love with them immediately.
She didn’t have many photos of her taken and compiled like that for years. During the period when she went to university, the images stopped there and resumed when she got money.
So, she was lacking a lot. Seeing the photo albums and remembering the photocards, she vowed to take more photos with her family as well and create a lot of memories.
She would start with the birthday. She would have the drone do a good job and taking sneak photos and videos. One day, they would go through the videos and just laugh at it.
That’s how memories are made.
Satisfied with the gift, she remembered that she hadn’t given these people many gifts in the weeks she had been here.
So, she had Iseul summon all her bodyguards into the suite while she prepared to leave the hotel.
Since the other guards weren’t at the hotel, it took a while for them to come to her.
During that time, Diamond freshened herself for the third time and changed into something warm but not overly hot.
On the plane it won’t be freezing like outside, so she needed to consider that.
When she was done, she stashed everything in her storage ring. Since the guards were gathering in the living room and all her bags were in the bedroom, she didn’t have to worry about being seen.
By the time she came out, time had flown and her eight guards, her chauffer and Iseul, were waiting for her patiently in the living room.
When she saw them, she sat down with a smile on her face, admiring their wonderful bodies hidden by those black suits.
Unfortunately, she didn’t have more time to admire them for longer. After all, she needed to go. The clock was ticking.
"I called you all here just to say a few things before I leave and part ways," feeling nostalgic about the parting she said, missing these ten already. "It’s been great being with you guys. In the period that I was here, you did your best to make my life comfortable. Because of you, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing and on top of it all, my family back home was at ease knowing that you were protecting me always."
Diamond understood that these people were doing their job and getting paid for it. However, as a human being, she felt that being grateful was the only way to go.
If they didn’t take this seriously, maybe they would have safeguarded her halfheartedly without care. However, these people had done their utmost best. She was pretty much satisfied.
Although there wasn’t any danger that she came across, having her family have a sense of peace was of greater importance.
It was also good that no one tried to attack her. It would be shocking and scary if that happened.
She was simply too high profile when it came to money. It tends to attract thieves and simple-minded people.
The ten never thought that they would be thanked like that. They were just doing their job and yet they were getting praised. They couldn’t help but feel touched.
Diamond was one of the best guests they had served ever since working at the hotel. She wasn’t a difficult person to serve, and she wasn’t overbearing. She was quite easy to serve and someone who just enjoyed life.
They felt blessed and wanted to thank her for being their guest. Otherwise, when would they have such an easy time?
Diamond didn’t know what these ten were thinking as he continued with her gratitude speech. After the short speech, she took out ten thick envelopes.
She learnt the Gesalsi money-gifting culture. Handing out envelopes. As for how much was inside, the person receiving would have to check for himself.
When the ten received the envelopes, they didn’t stand in ceremony. After spending time with her, they knew her giving habits.
"Thank you very much!"
Instead of being pretentious, it was better to accept the gift with a warm heart.
When the gifts were given out, Diamond beamed brightly.
It was another day of doing some good deeds again.
Rather than giving these people some materialistic gift which might not suit their taste, giving them money that they could use to buy whatever they want instead, felt much better.
That was why she did that. Let them spend it on whatever they want.
At least when they are spending it, they would remember that once upon a time, Diamond was their guest.
