Chapter 861: Chapter 859: TALKING ABOUT BOYS 3

So, Diamond satisfied his curiosity and Richard was in a state of shock until they got to his mansion.

The two were very engrossed in their stories, talking about boys, and they didn’t even have a chance to admire the scenery.

When they got home, Richard was more interested in hearing the story. So, he simply dragged Diamond to his room, leaving the bags to the servants to deal with.

At the same time, he didn’t have a single clue that someone next door was busy watching him with binoculars and had a gloomy expression. It was too frightening.

Richard was unaware of that, as he was busy listening to the continuation of the story back in his bedroom.

Listening to how the twins betrayed her in the end, Richard was so furious that he cursed them big time, making Diamond feel very good about it.

"It’s good that you ended it with them. They should be ashamed of themselves. How could they be greedy and want what was not theirs?" Richard truly disliked people who wanted to take advantage of others.

He was reminded of how his ex-boyfriend shamelessly talked about how they could both raise the child. After all, they weren’t going to conceive and whatnot.

It was the last string that made him break up with that scumbag.

Anyway, getting back to Diamond, she also narrated how she met Gael’s mother when she was with the twins, as well as how their relationship progressed.

"So, you see. I gave it a try. I honestly didn’t think that I would be with him today, but over time he convinced me and made me want to try dating again. Moreover, he knows what I am into. So, even if I bring him another brother in the future, he wouldn’t say a single thing."

Richard laughed heartily when he heard that. After listening to Diamond’s dating experience, he found his fear to be a child’s play.

If a woman was so daring to date multiple guys with them knowing each other. What was stopping him from trying it?

If it fails, he can just break up and enter a new relationship until he finds his soulmate. He should be out there, right?

"That’s a good one. I didn’t expect that to be honest. Thank you for telling me!"

"Haha, it’s not a problem. Besides, it won’t remain a secret," she jokingly said though she knew she wasn’t joking.

If in the future she introduced her boyfriends to her friends. Won’t they be able to tell what was happening?

The truth would still come out one way or the other.

"I will use your confidence and try to see where it would get me. If it doesn’t work, then I will just move on!"

"Hehe, just don’t give your heart wholeheartedly before, you are sure. At most, if you can’t have his heart then have something else!" she said with a wink and Richard rolled his eyes at her, heat rising to his face, understanding what she was talking about.

The two friends teased each other for a while before Richard asked, "So, at the moment. Do you have other guys you are interested in?" curious about the matter.

Diamond’s eyes lit up when she heard that and raised four fingers.

Richard yelped in shock as he saw that number. He hurriedly covered his mouth, looking at her with dumbfoundedly.

Diamond chuckled when she saw that reaction. She shamelessly elaborated, "I can’t help myself. They are very tall and handsome. Above all, they treat me well. Oh, they also know. So, how do you expect me not to like them?" just thinking about those guys, Diamond couldn’t help but be tempted.

Richard uncovered his mouth and flicked Diamond on the forehead. "Girl, how can you be so greedy? Doesn’t that make it five if you, by chance, get them all?"

Diamond scratched her forehead with a chuckle upon hearing that. "Unfortunately, one of them I can’t have," she said regretfully, without answering Richard’s question directly.

Richard rolled his eyes when he heard that. "You .... What am I supposed to do with you?"

"Just support your girl. At least I will not give up until I do my best. I have told myself that as long as I like a guy, I will put in a lot of effort. It would be a pity if I just lost him and regret it when I had a chance."

"So, you are the type to pursue if given a chance?"

"Definitely. Who said that girls can’t make the first move? As long as he is not taken, there is a chance for me. I will pursue him, date him and, if it fails, then leave it. It’s as simple as that!"

Her principles were very simple. Of course, she would boil the frog in warm water first and not startle it. It would be bad if she made her prey run away without securing it tightly.

Richard felt like he was receiving lessons the more he listened, but he agreed to her methods.

He once lost a guy he had deep feelings for because he didn’t open his mouth. By the time he learnt that he was dating, he could only cry under the blankets, had a strong fever and was hospitalized for a week.

It was so embarrassing, but it was how it went and couldn’t be reversed.

So perhaps, pursuing someone regardless of the answer could give the pursuer clarity. If the confession gets accepted, then celebrate. If rejected, then feel the temporary pain and move on. It was as simple as that.

The two exchanged ideas about pursuing others and after an hour or so, the butler came to call them down for dinner.

It was only then that they realized that they had talked about boys for a long time and didn’t even feel hungry. They were so engrossed. It made them both laugh very loud.

When was the last time that they had such a fun conversation?

The two went to the dining room without changing and found a table of food waiting for them. Richard, knowing his friend’s appetite, had the chef prepare a lot of dishes and Diamond was excited when she saw the food.

The servants were quite alarmed, then shocked and got used to it after seeing how dishes were slowly disappearing as Diamond ate the food with gusto.

Diamond influenced Richard and ate a few more dishes, but still couldn’t match with Diamond. In the end, he watched amusedly as Diamond swept all the food at the table until there were empty plates remaining.

After the sumptuous dinner, Diamond praised the chef generously and the hard-working chef, who was wondering if he was preparing for many people but only saw one person finally feel happy upon seeing the food finished.

After dinner, the two friends went outside for a walk to digest the food, though it was unnecessary for Diamond. The food had already been converted to energy the moment it was eaten. So, what was this digesting business?

Nonetheless, the other people knew nothing of that, and Richard needed to digest his food. So, she accompanied him.

During that process, Diamond also took that chance to take a closer look at the mansion.

It was large. Nearly the same size as her villa, but way smaller when compared to her ancestral home. However, the mansions were built detached and a distance away from each other.

There was a lot of space and beautiful gardens and they were very remote.

They walked for like thirty minutes with Richard introducing her to this and that until they returned inside.

This time, Richard brought her to the room that she would be using during her stay.

It was big with an ensuite and a balcony. The bags remained untouched but were put in the closet.

"How about we meet later in like an hour?" he suggested, knowing that they both needed to freshen up.

Diamond didn’t object to that but readily agreed.

Richard left, giving her some space, and headed to his room while Diamond remained in the room to explore more.

Richard went to his room, filled the tub, entered the tub, and started playing with his phone. To be exact, he started replying to his friends.

In the group chat with friends who were close to Diamond. He shared that he picked up Diamond already. Those that were coming also shared the news that they were coming and those that weren’t, also shared that they gave gifts to those who were coming.

As for Diamond, she was offline and didn’t participate.

As he went through the messages, his face twitched when he saw that one chat with over fifty messages that had been received in these short few hours.

"What’s wrong with this young man?" he cursed while rolling his eyes, but the smile hanging on his lips couldn’t be avoided.

He didn’t bother to click on the chat but directly called the other party.

He was curious about what made him so anxious to bombard him with so many messages like that.

And when the call was answered, he regretted it.
