The owner had arrived, and Executive Manager Zhan and the hotel staff had gathered to greet him. They had laid up a red carpet at the hotel's entrance and stood aside for the extremely distinguished guest.

While the hotel staff behind him looked on in confusion, Executive Manager Zhan stood motionless in front of the crowd, waiting for Yue Xuexia to arrive. Suddenly, they were told to put down a red carpet and clean the most expensive suite in the Crowned Regent Hotel, which takes millions of dollars to reserve.

Before they could understand what was happening the Executive Manager ordered them to gather. All they know is that they would be welcoming a special guest to their hotel.

Among the staff, one of the hotel receptionists is someone Yue Xuexia would recognize if she saw her. It was an old classmate from her high school days. The name of this receptionist is Fu Meiran.

Fu Meiran was Yue Xuexia's high school classmate. Despite Yue Xuexia's indolence, Fu Meiran's grades were consistently in the top five. Fu Meiran was a competitive person by nature, and she could never accept that Yue Xuexia would always score higher than her on exams. Instead, she would repeatedly challenge Yue Xuexia only to lose.

Then, after coming up with a vicious plan against Yue Xuexia once, she accused Yue Xuexia of purposefully manipulating her scores following their junior year final exams. Of course, no one believed her because Yue Xuexia was a student whose grades were always stable—never falling short of the average, never reaching perfection as if she is maintaining that range of points.

Additionally, their class advisor has a bias in favor of Yue Xuexia because she is aware of the true cause of her low grades: Yue Xuexia was born with a weak heart, suffered from uncontrollable asthma, and was frequently absent from school. As a result, her grades were never the best because of her lack of attendance and on-site activities. Nearly all of their teachers were aware of this and understood Yue Xuexia's circumstances, which is why they never questioned why her score was in the middle range despite her intelligence.

However, Fu Meiran maintains that Yue Xuexia is lying about her illness and that she was cheating; in other words, she could not accept that she is less intelligent than a sick person like Yue Xuexia and wanted to ruin her reputation. Fu Meiran's accusations of cheating were met with disdain from both her teachers and her classmates, regardless of gender.

When she sees their responses, her hatred for Yue Xuexia grows, and she starts acting irrationally. The principal of the school was even called because of what she did. As a result, the principal and teachers decided to force Fu Meiran to face reality. They asked both of them to take the same recently created math exam, which they would complete in front of all of the teachers, including the principal.

Fu Meiran proudly accepted this situation and thought it was the stage she needed to prove that she is better than Yue Xuexia. Reality proves her wrong. Her results were good, but against Yue Xuexia who got a perfect score, she seems like a clown in the eyes of others. Yue Xuexia, who could no longer bother with this annoying lady, agreed without hesitation.

A restaurant waiter from the hotel who had seen the appearance of Yue Xuexia before said otherwise. Some more staff from the restaurant area agreed with this brother's words.

"The owner is a goddess! Why compare her with a mortal? That's a waste of time."

"That's right! We've seen her before. She is a perfect lady!"

"The word fairy pales in comparison to being used on her. She is like an immortal instead.".

"Really? The owner is that beautiful!?"

Fu Meiran was envious of these remarks because, like the former Yue Xuexia, she detested all women who were both richer and prettier than she was. It was at this point that Executive Manager Zhan couldn't help but scold them especially when Fu Meiran belittled the owner in his face.

Manager Zhan said, "Who are you to spread those kinds of rumors!? Is the owner someone you can reach in your life? How shameless to talk behind people like that. Watch your mouth in front of the owner or I will fire you, Receptionist Fu."

"I... I... I'm sorry..." said Fu Meiran.

Fu Meiran, who used to be severely spoiled by the staff since she was the sweetheart of the middle-aged man assistant manager who was directly behind Executive Manager Zhan, stammered as she described how scared she was by the Executive Manager's apparent lack of interest.

Executive Manager Zhan glares at his assistant and warns, "Watch over your lover. If the owner decided to thoroughly check the staff's relationship, I wouldn't be surprised if she fired all your lovers."

"Yes. Yes. Executive Manager Zhan, I will keep your words in mind," said the Assistant Manager while cursing nonstop in his mind.

At this very moment, a familiar-looking Rolls-Royce Dawn pulled up in front of the hotel; Executive Manager Zhan was ecstatic to see it and even assisted in opening the driver's door.

Executive Manager Zhan greeted, "A pleasant evening to the mistress. This Zhan had prepared everything for the owner's stay. I will let someone else park your car, Eldest Miss Yue."
