Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 634 - 633: Master?
As Divine racked his brain on what he should do and what decision he should make, Old Man Poison reached the arena and stood a few meters in front of Lyam, the younger brother of Savage who was referred to as The Reaper.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!!"
"OUR NEXT BATTLE IS BETWEEN THE OLD MASTER OF POISONS AND THE MAN WHO HAUNTS YOU TILL YOU BREATHE YOUR LAST... THE REAPERRRR!!!!"
"TO NOT WASTE OUR TIME, LET THE BATTLE.... BEGIN!"
The announcer teleported out of the arena the moment he ended his battle, and the crowd erupted in loud cheers as Old Man Poison and Lyam stood without making a move.
Seconds went by, and then Lyam smiled, "I'm sure you're wondering why you're fighting me, right Old Man?"
Old Man Poison tilted his head while raising his brows, "To give you the home training your mother failed to give you?"
Liam's smile froze for two seconds before his smile widened to an exaggerated degree.
"You'll regret your words, Old Man."
"You're a million years too young to make me regret anything, boy." Old Man Poison chuckled.
A second after Old Man Poison chuckled, Lyam vanished from where he stood. Dust flew up into the air as a deep footprint could be seen on the sand grounds of the arena.
Clang!
What followed next was a loud clang as Lyam stood in front of Old Man Poison with a dagger that was a few inches from Old Man Poison's neck.
In between the dagger and Old Man Poison's neck was a translucent spherical barrier made of mystic energy.
"You're reaction time is fast for a man whose one foot into the grave."
Lyam smiled darkly, and Old Man Poison shook his head like a father being disappointed in his child.
Lyam snarled and was about to respond to Old Man Poison's words, but the spherical barrier made of mystic energy transformed into a green mist and Lyam's expression changed.
He quickly jumped to the back, and the moment he did, Old Man Poison also jumped to the back.
Without waiting for Lyam to act, he pointed his staff at Lyam. Ten dark green poison balls appeared in front of his staff, and with a wave of his staff, they flew towards Lyam.
Lyam scoffed when he saw the attack, and with an expression of disdain, he calmly dodged the dark green poison balls.
Old Man Poison was not surprised or fazed by this. Instead, he pointed his staff at Lyam and in the next second, the dark green poison balls Lyam exploded the moment they went past Lyam.
A poisonous dark green cloud engulfed Lyam but surrounding Lyam was a golden spherical barrier that protected him from the poison.
"Is this all you got, old man?!"
"If it is, I must say that I'm extremely disappointed!"
Lyam shouted with a bored expression that was also filled with disdain and cruelty.
"Didn't your mother teach you to respect your elders?"
Old Man Poison replied, and Lyam's expression changed to one of rage. A dark aura appeared on his body, and he took a step forward in order to make a dash towards Old Man Poison.
However, he stumbled and fell face flat into the ground.
"Huh?" Lyam was stunned, and he looked at his legs.
What he saw surprised him because he was expecting to notice a difference in his legs or maybe he had been poisoned without his knowledge, but shockingly, it was not his legs that had a problem but the ground.
The sandy ground beneath him was no longer sandy but was now shockingly glass.
"What the?"
"I know you're too stupid to understand, so I'll explain it to you." Old Man Poison's voice drifted into Lyam's ears, causing Lyam to look at him.
"The poison balls you foolishly ignored contained a special type of poison I created that contains elements like aluminium and iron oxide. When this poison is exposed to the air, it creates a thermite reaction which burns at over 2,500°C, which is hot enough to melt sand into glass."
"Your barrier protected you from the heat, but it didn't protect the sand."
"If you attended your chemistry class in school I'm sure you'll know that sand can turn into glass under a high enough temperature."
Old Man Poison shook his head as he spoke, and then he pointed his staff at Lyam.
"I always tell that stubborn disciple of mine that poison can perform a lot of things. It can applied in any situation and it's only one's imagination that limits a poison user."
Lyam had a dark expression when he heard Old Man Poison's words, and with a snarl he tried to get up.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you."
Crack!
Lyam's expression changed, and he looked down at his hands with a horrified expression.
Due to his rage, he shattered the glass beneath him but the moment he did that, his hands fell into a puddle of poison that was as hot as magma.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!!!"
"I warned you."
Old Man Poison chuckled, and then his staff began to glow.
"I never said those poison balls were only made of one type of poison."
The glow on Old Man Poison's staff got brighter, and then, Old Man Poison pointed his staff at the screaming Lyam.
A gleaming bright darkish red poisonous arrow appeared in front of Old Man Poison's staff, and with a cold and indifferent expression, Old Man Poison spoke.
"Like I said, you're-"
"A million years too young to make me regret anything."
Lyam's voice drifted into Old Man Poison's ears, and the moment it did, Old Man Poison's pupils constricted to the limits.
Why?
Because Lyam's voice came from behind him but there was still another Lyam in front of him.
For some reason, Old Man Poison's eyes went up, to a certain part of the audience, and there he saw a panicking Divine, Rosa, Fatty Black Bonez, Triple X, and Dave rushing towards the arena.
'What is happening?'

Unfortunately, Old Man Poison did not possess a mind as unique as Corey's that could allow him to react and think simultaneously and at a speed that was unfathomable to even Immortals.
Puchi!
A completely black dagger that was made out of a strange bone pierced out of Old Man Poison's chest. The dagger remained there for a second but in the next, it went upwards before coming out from Old Man Poison's left shoulder.
Old Man Poison's eyes froze, and so did his body before he fell face flat to the ground.
The entire Amphitheatre went silent as everybody stared at Old Man Poison's corpse, but three seconds later, a voice echoed in the Amphitheatre.
"Master?"
