"17.5 million Mystic Crystals."

Savage's deep grating voice echoed in the Auction Hall, and glances and murmurs were thrown at him.

Despite the glances, murmurs, and killing intent that was thrown at the leader of the Legion of Nightmares, Savage with his arms crossed and a nonchalant expression on his face.

Anon's eyes flashed with a cold light as he glanced at Savage who sat at the far end to his right.

'Not now.'

Anon calmly looked away, and then he subtly observed the others in the Auction Hall.

He was waiting to see if any other person would bid for Nightmare Essence Crystal, however to his slight surprise and dissatisfaction, none placed a higher bid on the Nightmare Essence Crystal.

He could hear the conversations of some people as they talked about the price being too high and about most choosing to wait for the other items.

He also heard some 'low' level organizations choosing not to make enemies out of Savage because of his backing.

The source of this c𝐨ntent is freёnovelkiss.com.

When Anon heard this, he became interested because this was one of the information of the Underworld Divine did not have.

After becoming enemies with the Legion of Nightmares, Divine gave him every single information he had about Savage and the remaining members of the number one group of the Underworld.

Divine warned him that Savage had a powerful backing and it was most likely related to the true owners of the Underworld, however, he was not able to get any information on his backing no matter how much he tried.

Anon was hoping to get information on the backing of Savage from the conversations of the people in the Auction Hall, however, he got none.

Not a single individual mentioned or gave a hint to Savage's backing, and Anon was slightly disappointed by this.

Calista announced Savage as the winner of the auction for the Nightmare Essence Crystal, and Corey sighed with regret.

He wished he had enough money so that he could outbid Savage, thereby making Savage to spend more money to purchase the Nightmare Essence Crystal.

'Well, it is what it is.'

Corey shifted his attention back to Calista who was announcing the second item to be auctioned.

"The second item is something that you blacksmiths and talented wealthy individuals that deal with fire would absolutely love."

Calista gave a charming smile towards the audience and purposely paused for a few seconds, allowing the anticipation in the audience to build up.

She gestured to her right, and the hologram of a flaming red crystal flower appeared above her hand.

The moment the hologram appeared, the temperature in the room rose, and some individuals with low fire resistance began sweating.

Anon's brows rose in surprise and he looked at Calista with a surprised and curious expression.

'That's clearly a hologram, but even if it's a hologram, the temperature in the room increased?'

'How is she doing it? Is it a formation or an item? Or an array?'

'And what of the actual flower? Is the temperature of the room going to increase more than this if the actual flower was placed here?'

'I'm curious.'

Anon shifted his attention back to the flower, and then Calista spoke.

"I'm sure most of you already know this item, but for those that don't know, this is a Flameheart Lotus."

"Flameheart Lotus is an extremely rare flower that blooms only once in ten thousand years in planets with extremely high temperatures and powerful volcanic environments."

"Its petals can be used to forge top tier Mystic fire-related weapons, and the entire flower itself can be used to enhance one's affinity with the fire element."

"If you don't have a fire affinity, this can be your chance to gain a high fire affinity."

The expressions of those who had no idea of what a Flameheart Lotus was, changed.

The thought of having a high fire affinity was extremely appealing to them because their battle prowess would drastically increase.

The fire element was a common but powerful element, and most were not blessed with an affinity for the fire element.

With a high affinity for the fire element, the time it would take one to learn a fire related skill would drastically decrease, and the weight of learning a new skill would also drastically decrease on their souls.

Anon knew all of this, and he was minutely interested in the Flameheart Lotus because he was curious about how it would feel if he gained a fire affinity.

'In fact, I'm curious. What elements do I have an affinity for?... I've never checked to be honest.'

Anon glanced at Divine, and he saw that Divine was not the least interested in the Flameheart Lotus.

He was not surprised by this because he had a feeling that only the Supremes had a higher affinity for the fire element than Divine.

A mere Flameheart Lotus could not help him in anyway.

Some minutes later of intense bidding, shouting, and curses, the Flameheart Lotus was won by the Temple of Flames for a price of 20 million Mystic Crystals.

When Corey saw that it was the Temple of Flames that won the bid for the Flameheart Lotus, his lips could not help but twitch.

His two enemies were the ones that won the auction of two precious treasures. It was a strange feeling, and it left a bitter taste in his mouth that he could not bid for any item because he was in plain words... Flat broke.

'It can only be a coincidence... Right?'

Just as Corey had this thought, Calista spoke.

"The next item to be auctioned is an extremely rare and volatile object... A void-touched relic."

Calista gestured to her left, and Corey's expression changed slightly. His body moved subconsciously moved forward as his pure black eyes stared straight at the hologram of the void-touched relic.

"This is an ancient artifact that's rumored to have survived the collapse of an unknown dimension. As you can sense, the artifact has an unknown spatial power we call the void."

"For those of you that don't know what this relic can be used for, let me tell you."

"It can be used to craft void related artifacts, weapons, or armor."

"Most especially, it can be used to learn and ponder on the profundity of space, which can lead to an increase in your spatial and temporal powers."

"The last use is one of madness and danger, but who am I of all people to judge?"

Calista paused, and then she grinned.

"You can also implant it into your body, which could grant you unpredictable yet powerful void-based mutations."

The expressions of everybody changed and the atmosphere became tense as Calista deliberately paused for a whole six seconds.

"The bidding price starts at 200 million Mystic Crystals."
