Corey's deep voice echoed in the tunnel as he swung his Genesis Armament down, and a bright sharp arc of light moved towards the boulder.

Corey watched with narrowed eyes as the arc of white light moved, and then collided with the boulder.

Although the boulder was made out of extremely dense earth energy which could even affect the space and gravity around it, in the face of a technique of the Paragon Martial Arts and Corey's comprehension of space, the boulder stood no chance.

It split into two, and Corey lowered his axe.

However, just as he lowered his axe, his eyes widened when he saw a massive amount of acid pour out from the split boulder.

"You've got to be kidding me."

Corey's mumbled with an expression full of disbelief. He was surprised by the sort of attacks that were coming his way.

'Because of how dense the earth elemental energies were, I failed to see the acid hidden in the boulder.'

Corey furrowed his brows, and increased the output of his Eyes of Omniscience.

'That acid is so strong and potent to the point that it can melt the flesh of a peak Tier 5.'

Corey calmly raised his right hand, and icy blue runes appeared around him. They spun, and Corey's pure white eyes flashed.

"Go."

The icy blue runes moved and transformed into an icy mist. The moment the icy mist touched the acid, the acid froze mid air.

He clenched his hand, and the frozen acid shattered into tiny pieces and fell like snow.

Corey lowered his hand and exhaled softly, and then he glanced at Lydia, young Calista, and the Terror Queen.

He could see the awe in their eyes as they gazed at the falling icy particles. Due to the fog, they had not been able to see what Corey had done after the appearance of the boulder.

"So beautiful."

Young Calista stretched out her hand with a childish smile, wanting to grab one of the icy particles, and Corey's lips twitched.

'That's an acid that can melt the flesh of a peak Tier 5, little girl. It's far from being beautiful.'

Corey shook his head slightly, and made sure that not even a single frozen acid particle was able to pass through the sphere of wind around the three women.

After making sure that they were safe and there was no other attack, he dispersed the fog around them and in the tunnel.

Without wasting anymore second, he began running with three spheres of wind behind him.

As Corey ran, he faced several other traps. There were times he faced a rain of arrows coming down at him, multiple spears shooting out of the walls of the tunnel, and even spatial distortion at some point.

However, Corey was able to deal with every single one of the attacks, and then he came across a destroyed elevator.

When he saw the remnants of the elevator, he saw writings on one of the pieces of the elevator.

We're alive.

Just two words, but Corey's expression remained the same.

Indifferent.

He had not been bothered about the lives of Divine, Kiefer, Rosa, and Selene, mainly because of Divine, Kiefer, and Selene.

Both of them were Blessed, most especially Divine who was a Child of Heaven, so killing him was not going to be easy at all.

Although he knew that Divine's status as a Child of Heaven was not enough to guarantee the lives of Rosa, Selene, and also Kiefer, he was not still bothered.

And the true reason was because of Selene.

Through the Master-Slave soul contract they had, Corey could sense the status of Selene, know whether she was dead or alive, and also have a general feeling of her location.

It was through Selene that he knew what direction to take.

'Looks their elevator exploded just like mine.'

Corey looked at the rubble of the elevator one more time before he continued running with Lightning Movement Art.

During his run, he faced other traps and attacks, but he was able to effectively deal with them while protecting Lydia, young Calista, and the Terror Queen at the same time.

However, something strange happened approximately five minutes after Corey left the site of the destroyed elevator.

Corey was running while watching out for any sudden traps or attack, but then an extremely large and long teleportation circle suddenly appeared beneath his feet.

"Damn it."

Because of his Void Phoenix Heart, he sensed the disturbance in space before the formation even activated, but the size of the formation was just too massive.

He could not outrun it on time and he could still not teleport because of the Supreme Ancestor.

The formation glowed brightly, and because of it's sudden appearance, Corey could not interfere with the process.

He, and the three wind spheres behind him vanished, and a second later, he appeared in front of the door to an elevator.

Corey looked around warily, and a surprised light flashed in his eyes when he saw no sign of an enemy or danger.

He looked at the elevator door and frowned.

He recalled the path he took as he moved through space, and after comparing it to the map he had, he realized that he was at the central cube of the Underworld.

His frown deepened, and he tried to look through the door but he was blocked by a powerful formation and he even felt the formation counterattacking him by attacking his mind.

But Corey was able to block the attack with ease.

'An attack that can damage the mind of a Tier 6?'

Corey's frown deepened, and then he increased the output of his Eyes of Omniscience.

He was finally able to see through the formations on the door, and when he did, his eyes widened.

A phantom axe appeared in his hand, and he swung it at the door, instantly splitting it in two.

Without wasting a single second, he dashed into the room behind the door and sent a slash at the Clown who was holding Divine's neck.
