Sinner of Cultivation World Steals Toxic Female Lead-Chapter 43: Negotiations
Chapter 43: Negotiations
Following Shaan, Jasmine appeared in a secluded building.
Jasmine stayed true to her words and didn’t allow her subordinates to follow after her.
With only 2 of them present, there was no time for pretense, Shaan immediately released the contents of one of the spatial rings he was wearing on his hand.
In an instant, the entire floor was filled with varieties of grains.
One minute passed....
Five minutes passed....
Finally 15 minutes passed and Jasmine just stood there flabbergasted.
The impact was too big for her.
Feeling her dazzled expression, Shaan couldn’t help but interject.
"Hmmmm?"
"Hello, Madam?"
With Shaan’s reminder, Jasmine was, at last, brought back to reality.
Before she could speak, Shaan dexterously recalled everything back in his space ring leaving her perplexed.
"Why did you take back everything?"
Jasmine could no longer stop her anger.
Such an enormous amount of food supplies?
Just What concept was it?.....especially in the end days, where men are ready to kill, women are ready to sleep with you, all just for a loaf of bread.
She roughly calculated, the supply she had seen just now was enough to make their shelter of about 20,000 people run for a full one month with proper rationing.
"Miss, you misunderstood!"
"I am not doing some form of charity here!"
"The only reason I brought you here was to show my value."
Shaan replied calmly.
Jasmine could never have imagined, instead of those- Mark, Leona and Luther, the real hidden gem had always been hiding at the corner concealing its brilliance all along.
She earlier brushed Shaan’s ability of storing things inside his body’s internal storage space as mere waste, but that was with the reasoning that he won’t have much food to begin with.
Following common sense, she indeed was right, but how could a native like her ever imagine Shaan’s cheat code of being a tranmigrator with the powerful ability of world hopping?
All of them were adults here, she right away understood the underlying meaning of Shaan’s gesture.
Like an enthusiastic shopkeeper, he was showing his stuff, and, without a doubt, she was definitely impressed!
"Mark and the rest of your team members said all the food with you had long been traded by them, so from where did you get all this stuff?"
Jasmine couldn’t help but ask the question in her head.
"Hmmm, Why would I show them all my cards?"
"Like he previously said, it’s not even a month since I have joined them, so Why will I share my things with them so openly, after all, one must keep his other options open all the time."
Shaan’s answer was meaningful and to the point, it was hard for Jasmine to decipher a sense of falsehood from it.
But she understood, if it was her, she too would have probably acted like him, human nature is like that- kind to the extreme when there is abundance and, likewise, cunning to the extreme when there is scarcity, two sides of the same coin, flipping according to different times.
Only those who can wear the mask of such hypocrisy are the ones who have a shot to rise in this post-apocalyptic world. Human’s sophisticated approach...the one who understood this the best are the one who fares the better!
"So since you are willing to show this to me, it means you are ready to trade?"
Jasmine didn’t beat around the bush.
There was no need to ask from where he got the supplies, this is the hidden rule between a seller and buyer- You don’t ask and I don’t ask, as long as we both are happy, why bother with the troublesome things?
"Even if I ask from where the heck you got these supplies, you won’t answer me, right?"
Jasmine smiled knowingly.
"We are all smart and excellent people here, Miss!"
Shaan cleverly dodged her question, leaving her to think about the solution.
Sometimes it’s better to leave the receiver hanging, one must not underestimate curiosity, it can let us think about countless possibilities.
Sure enough, with Shaan’s unclear answer, Jasmine’s mind started running at lightning speed.
In seconds, she thought about countless feasible things.
’Did he stumbled upon an old warehouse that stored grains?’
’Did he steal these supplies from another shelter farby, and is currently on the run?’
’Or did he take advantage of others with his clever tricks?’
Jasmine soon realised, like he said, there’s no point in thinking about it.
As long as the supplies are in her hands, won’t she be the final winner?
Following the layout Shaan had meticulously laid in front of her, she arrived at the next expected question.
"Are these all the supplies with you, or are there more?"
Jasmine completely changed her personality, taking the shape of the gentlest sister one could imagine.....her voice became soft, her every action and pout filled with coquettishness, with a naive yet fascinating action, she tugged her hair strands behind her earlobes and gave a captivating low laugh.
If there was another man, he would have definitely charmed right there.
One must never forget Ancient rules of negotiation- Standing beside a charming woman is much more difficult then the actual negotiation.
A man who can bend can make a nation prosper, but a woman who can bend can change the tide of war, such a vast is the difference, and Jasmine clearly knew how to use her inherent qualities of being a woman as an advantage.
Only two things can unconditionally move a man’s heart- One is ambition and the other is beauty.
Shaan was instantaneously taken aback looking at her attractive face, worthy of being a seductress, with her boneless words Shaan’s eyes almost lost their focus.
Just when he was about to fall into a passive state, the lotus petal inside his consciousness emitted a cold wave, making his rationality return back to reality altogether.
Shaan exhaled a breath of shock. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
Was he almost charmed by her beauty? He took a deep breath and no longer looked at Jasmine with the usual eyes.
Calming his emotions, he gave a subte reply.
"Yes, I do have more things, but that depends on your ability to buy."
"There is no use discussing further if you don’t want to buy in the end!"
Shaan spoke sensibly, this time his head was much clear and full of caution.
Carefully observing Shaan, Jasmine was inwardly amazed.
This was her second talent that she had awakened other than her main talent of controlling fire.
Her second talent was called charm, it could make people lose their reason momentarily, giving her an edge in discussions, that’s why elders sent her to convince Sabrina’s team members to join them.
Awakening a second talent alone was a rare thing, therefore, one could expect how much potential Jasmine had as an evolver.
Her secret charming trick had never failed before, but today this nobody broke free within seconds, it showed that Shaan was not simple.
Both of them hid the surprise on their faces, the one to express is the first to lose, both very well understood this point.
"Of course the more you have the better."
"Let’s say.....1 kg of supplies for 40 zombie crystals, How about that?"
Understanding there was no point in hanging, Jasmine slowly quoted a price.
"60!"
"You have to understand, my food is neither contaminated nor stale, it’s hard to get such food in the current world."
Shaan also showed his fangs.
"But we are ready to buy all your stuff in one go, in the entire south, you won’t find another place that is willing to take out so many zombie crystals in one go!"
Jasmine too tried her best to bargain.
After a heated tug-of-war, finally, the price was set at 50 zombie crystals.
"Okay, now that the price is decided, tell how much supplies you are hoarding in your inner space. I need to make some inner preparation for unexpected surprises."
After setting the price, Jasmine moved to the next point.
Shaan showed a playful smile.
"Actually the amount might surprise you."
After taking an intentional pause to further ignite her restlessness, Shaan gave a vague number.
"The amount should be about 1000 tonnes."
"Just now, I only showed you a fraction of what I have!"
Shaan gave a figure then turned silent.
On the other hand, Jasmine could no longer keep her calm after hearing this number.
1 tonne is equal to 1000 kg.....so 1000 tonnes=1000 x 1000= 10,00,000 kgs
This amount of ration....
It’s enough to let their shelter prosper for a full year where everyone can raise their strength without any restraint.
Heck, they can even become the strongest shelter in the country.
Bringing such supplies back, she would definitely be honoured with merits.
That time becoming a Level 6 evolver or even above is possible, Jasmine straight away started imagining wild fantasies, she felt her hands were getting too hot.
Was she even the right person to take a decision on such an important matter?
But she soon realised the biggest point, do they even have so many zombie crystals to make a successful trade?
Shaan stood there waiting patiently.
