Sinner System-Chapter 435: Kai vs Cleo (Part 2)

"<Queen Taratect Venom>!" Exclaimed Cleo as she rushed towards me, spewing out a violent spray of corrosive venom at me.

As I sprang back, a sharp sizzle rang out as the venom splattered across the ground, eating into the dirt, right as Cleo leapt towards me and slashed at my head with the blades over her right knuckles.

I swiftly raised my left arm, the middle of her forearm colliding against it as I brought her swing to an abrupt halt, before I swiftly leapt back as she chanted...

"<Thunderbird Lightning>!"

Violent streaks of lightning erupted around her, which I narrowly evaded, before she fired out an intense, rapid blast of lightning at me from her mouth.

I raised Desecrator up defensively, the blade consuming the attack as I intercepted the lightning before it could reach me.

"<Wyvern Wind>!"

I lifted my gaze as she blasted herself up into the air, before unleashing another burst of wind to launch herself down towards me, slashing at my head with her left arm as she closed in.

She stiffened as I grabbed her wrist and jerked her across, before slamming her onto the ground with a swift snap of my wrist, her back thudding against the dirt as she let out a stifled gasp.

"Are you able to use only one Skill at a time?" I inquired, as I let go of her wrist and stepped back.

"Huh? Oh, uh, yeah...I can’t activate a second one unless I deactivate the first or the time limit runs out," She nodded, as she got back onto her feet.

"I see. Alright, then...let’s continue," I remarked, before she shot towards me as I backed away, chasing after me.

"<Supersonic-...>!" She began, before abruptly trailing off as I suddenly stopped backing away and charged at her.

"Another thing...try chanting quietly, otherwise you give away next move," I advised her, as I met her gaze from a few meters ahead.

She tensed and sprang back, before swiftly chanting under her breath and firing out a blazing wave of flames at me from her mouth.

"<Drain: Cloak>," I chanted, coating my entire body in a misty white shroud of energy, the flames getting consumed by the energy and fading away as they came into contact.

She then zipped up into the air as a burst of wind erupted around her, before unleashing a rapid wind blast down towards me.

I felt a thud against my chest as the attack struck me, the Drain energy consuming the Magic but had no effect on the physical force generated by the attack. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

I deactivated it as she hovered in the air for a moment, before sprinting away as she began to plummet, swiftly chanting quietly and firing out a ringing burst of sound from her mouth, evading it.

She took off her gauntlets and tossed them aside, before chasing after me at top speed. Suddenly, both her arms morphed into Wind Wyvern wings, a gust of wind erupting around them.

I see, that’s why she took off her gauntlets, they can’t stretch enough to accommodate those wings...

She shot up into the air with a swift flap of her wings, before swooping down towards me as wind swirled around her wings.

She angled her right wing towards my neck as she closed in, before grimacing as I ducked under it and drove my left hand up, slamming my palm against the middle of her torso.

A sharp cry of pain rang out as I unleashed Mana Pulse, her body shuddering in pain before she lost control of her flight as her wings abruptly reverted back to arms.

She shakily scrambled back onto her feet, a trickle of blood running down the left corner of her mouth, before she stumbled back slightly.

Her Super Regeneration has likely healed the physical damage already, but she won’t be able to use her Skills as easily for a while.

Hm, perhaps I made a mistake using Mana Pulse...it’s counterproductive to the main purpose of this training, for her to get used to her abilities-...oh?

"<Cereberus Flames>!" She roared, before unleashing a devastating wave of flames towards me from her mouth.

I spread out my wings and zipped up into the air, before swooping down towards her at full speed, firing out a burst of Negative Energy from my feet to propel myself.

She leapt off to her left as I closed in and slashed at her with my blade, letting out a gasp of pain as I inflicted a deep gash across her right bicep, blood streaming down her arm, before she spun around as I shot past her and backed away several paces, getting some distance.

She let out a slow exhale as the cut closed up, composing herself before a determined look appeared in her eyes, as she chanted...

"<Monstrification>."

I stared in fascination as a burst of energy erupted around her, her body starting to transform, her hair spiking and standing up on end.

A mix of fiery orange, electric blue, aqua blue, icy blue and airy green scales appeared all over her limbs, torso and face, her eyes turning a glowing, fully green hue, the same color as a Basilisk’s petrifying beams.

Wings extended out of her shoulder blades, with a mix of fiery orange, electric blue and airy green feathers sprouting across them, a tail extending out of her lower back with a snake head at the end.

Her teeth and nails extended into long, razor-sharp fangs and claws, before her hands morphed into curved, light green blades, similar to a Scythe Mantis’s arms.

But Scythe Mantises’ blades take up their entire forearms, hers only tranformed her hands...the blades are smaller than the Scythe Mantises’, but appear to be just as sharp.

Hm, but then, what was the point of the claws that formed, only to morph into these scythes? Perhaps she can switch between them?

Curved horns, more like a Minotaur’s than a Demon’s, appeared on either side of her head, tufts of thick, jet-black fur coating her forearms, her tongue narrowing and forking like a snake’s, before eight large spider legs extended out in rows on her back, between her wings and tail.

"This...is my full power," She uttered, her voice a bit raspy and hissy, as her forked tongue flicked out of her mouth.

"I see...in that case, I won’t be restricting myself anymore."
