His translucent, gelatinous body looks similar to a Slime, and based on his Skills, he’s got all the abilities of the various Slime species. Is he some sort of higher evolved form of those Monsters? What the hell is going on here?

He unleashed a gust of cold, freezing air towards me as I shot forward, before switching to lightning as I flew straight through the frost, which had no effect on me.

As a blast of lightning hit me with no effect, he rapidly slithered away, before extending out several tendrils towards me.

I unleashed an intense burst of Negative Energy as the tendrils closed in on me, blowing them away before a couple of wind arrows came shooting in towards him from his left.

He rapidly formed a thick shield of slime from his left hand, the arrows colliding against it and erupting upon impact. Violent ripples burst out across the shield, before a barrage of bone bullets zipped in from his right as I closed in on him.

"[Super Accel Flame Lance]!" I exclaimed as I drove my right fist forward, the bone bullets converging in on the side of his head at the same time.

Suddenly, my eyes widened as the Monster flattened himself into a thick, gloopy puddle, the bone bullets shooting past the top of my fist. A fierce burst of heat erupted across the air as my fist whizzed through, right as Viscous rapidly rose up in the form of a sharp spike.

I narrowly managed to block the spike from piercing through me as I crossed my arms defensively, the impact jarring my forearms as the spike collided against my gauntlets, sticking to me despite the explosive, fiery burst upon impact, pushing me up through the air with immense speed.

As I snapped my mouth open, charging up Negative Energy, he unleashed a pressurized burst of water from the tip of the spike he’d shaped himself into, blasting me away through the air before the slimy spike rapidly shrunk down and reverted to his humanoid form.

He slithered across as a volley of wind arrows shot towards him, erupting as they struck the ground, before unleashing a crackling, streaky bolt of lightning towards Jin, who leapt away and narrowly evaded it.

"Damn it, hold still!" Snapped Aarav, firing a piercing blood beam out of the bone cannon over his right hand as he whipped his arm across, the beam slicing through the air towards the Monster’s head.

Viscous shrunk down slightly, the beam zipping over the top of his head, before he raised his left hand towards Aarav and rapidly extended his arm out with blinding speed, slamming onto the middle of Aarav’s stomach and eliciting a sharp wheeze of pain from him, sending him hurtling back through the air.

As he crashed onto a collapsed building, I unleashed several slashing waves of Negative Energy down towards Viscous, Jin following my lead with a flurry of wind arrows.

Dozens of tendrils burst out of Viscous’s back as he slithered away with immense speed, avoiding our attacks as the tendrils extended up towards me with immense speed.

I shot through the air as they closed in on me and fired out pressurized, piercing beams of water, chasing after me rapidly as I weaved through the air at full speed, evading the beams and firing out bursts of Negative Energy from my feet to keep them from catching up to me.

Damn it...!

Elemental Immunity won’t have any effect on negating the physical pressure exerted through these concentrated beams of water, I’m dead if one hits my heart or brain!

Loud bursts rang out as Jin continued firing out wind arrows at Viscous, who shot towards him, a wind arrow grazing his left side and erupting as he closed in on Jin, blasting several chunks of slime off his body. A choked gasp then rang out as Viscous rapidly expanded his right hand and enveloped Jin’s head before he could react.

Shit!

I unleashed a barrage of Negative Energy blasts at the tendrils chasing after me, blasting them to pieces and swooping down towards Viscous. I whipped my right arm across, firing out a pressurized Negative Energy slash towards him.

A thick wall of slime expanded out from behind his back, absorbing the force of my attack...right as dozens of slimy spikes burst out all over Jin’s body.

He tensed and seized up sharply, before going limp and collapsing onto the ground as Viscous withdrew the slime he’d pumped into Jin’s body, a puddle of blood forming around him on the ground as he laid on the dirt lifelessly.

"You bastard-...!" I began, as I started to charge up Negative Energy.

"NOOO!!!" Aarav’s voice suddenly rang out, a gutteral roar of anguish and rage echoing out, before a drilling blast of blood came shooting towards Viscous.

The blast hit his head and burst through in an instant, his head growing back almost instantly, before Aarav unleashed a pressurized burst of blood to launch himself forward, a massive bone blade forming above him as he raised his arms.

He let out a fierce yell of exertion as he closed in and swung the blade down, a deafening crash ringing out as it slammed onto the ground, a thick cloud of dust rising up upon impact.

Viscous suddenly zipped out of the dust cloud and slithered towards Aarav with immense speed, lunging forward as he closed in. Suddenly, he got lifted high off the ground as several bone spikes burst out through the dirt, skewering the Monster.

His right arm morphed into a blade as he began to slip free of the spikes, before I blew his arm off with a swirling Negative Energy blast as I shot forward at full speed. I coated my left arm in Negative Energy and whipped it across as I closed in, a fierce blast of crimson flames and Negative Energy erupting and blowing him away.

He landed several meters away, repairing the damage and restoring his humanoid shape...no, I don’t think we’re actually damaging him. Attacking his body has no real effect, it looks like he doesn’t have any weaknesses besides his Core...
