"Now, the question is...who to give this to?" I mused, looking around at the others.

Should we boost one of the X-Aces? Or give it to one of the Aces instead, increase their chances of survival if they do end up having to fight one of the Sentinels?

"How about you, Jaden?" Suggested Aria, as she glanced at him.

"Hm...I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted, but I’d say we give it to one of the Aces instead," He replied after mulling it over.

"Yeah, I think that’s the right call," Nodded Aarav in agreement.

"Same. One of the first three Sentinels also had a Personalis Arma, right? That likely means at least a few of the remaining Sentinels also possess one, so equipping one of the Aces is probably the best move," Added Iseul objectively.

"Alright, looks like it’s settled. So, who gets it?" I inquired, glancing between the Aces.

"As much as I’d love to have a unique weapon of my own, it’d probably be wasted on me. Right now, I’m just banking my hopes on staying out of the vicinity of the Sentinels and hope that’s enough to avoid getting dragged into a fight," Spoke up Jax sheepishly.

"How about you, Petrus? Since it looks like you’ll be fighting alone if you end up getting selected by the roulette, you might be the best option," I suggested thoughtfully.

"Perhaps, but...my Magic is highly unlikely to be powerful enough to kill Monsters as powerful as the Sentinels, even my strongest Spells aren’t powerful enough to kill Calamity Level Monsters in one hit. So, with that in mind, I’d say we should give it Miss Ciel, since she’s likely the only one of us Aces with enough firepower to kill a Sentinel," He surmised, as he nodded at Ciel.

"Yeah, I agree with giving it to her, though I suppose I am biased. She’s also incredibly reckless, so she could definitely use some extra protection," Nodded Rex in agreement.

"Well...I mean, if everyone’s okay with me getting it, I’m certainly not going to refuse," She replied with a wry smile.

"Doesn’t look like anyone has any objections, so I guess it’s settled," I remarked, before approaching her with the Personalis Arma.

"Ooh, I wonder what kind of weapon I’ll get? Maybe a sword? Regular swords always break when I’m up against powerful enemies or opponents," She grinned, looking a bit giddy.

"Alright, clear your mind and brace yourself, the process will begin as soon as you take hold of it," I instructed her, adding as I placed my hand on her shoulder, "And try not to move, if I lose physical contact, the process will get interrupted, and, well...you’ll probably end up dying."

"Yeah, definitely don’t want that. Oh, in that case, maybe it’ll be better if we sit down?" She suggested in response.

"Oh, good thinking," I nodded, before adding as we took a seat on the grassy ground and held the rod out towards her, "Okay, whenever your ready, take hold of it."

A burst of energy erupted around the rod, before it began glowing brightly and rapidly changed shape, floating up towards Ciel’s right arm and wrapping around it, forming a gleaming, wide black bracelet around her right wrist and extending a bit over her forearm, with a streaky red pattern around it and a narrow red gemstone embedded in the middle.

The pattern and gem were the same hue as the explosive energy of her Magic, as well as the Mana Orbs on the rings she had on each index finger.

"Alright, now you need to name it, and the process will be complete," I informed her.

What’s the ??? part of the display, though? Some kind of locked Skill or ability? There’s no instruction on how to unlock it, though.

"Huh? A name? What exactly does this thing do? It isn’t exactly a weapon," She frowned, a perplexed look on her face as she stared at her wrist.

What? Oh, right...Aria can hear Ai’s voice when in physical contact with me, plus we have that link between us, which let Ai impart a few elements of the System to her, and Cleo has her own System.

But since Ciel doesn’t have a System, and I don’t have a link with her, she has no way of seeing the effects and abilities of her Personalis Arma.

"It boosts you physically by twenty percent, boosts the potency of your Magic by twenty-five percent, and makes you immune to the effects of your own Magic. And there’s another ability that I can’t discern, think you have to unlock it somehow, no idea how, though," I informed her.

"Woah...okay, those effects sound amazing! Come to think of it, I do feel stronger, and the flow of my Mana feels a bit more intense. Alright, I think I’ll name it...Fragor! That means explosion in Latin, it’s perfect!

Oh, wait, if I’m immune to my Magic, does that mean I can now set off explosions at close-range without a worry?!" She realized with a bright, excited gleam in her eyes as she glanced at Rex.

Does she have a new Spell that was too dangerous to use, but isn’t anymore? Based on Rex’s expression, I think that’s exactly what it is.

"Yeah, that right. Plus, since Personalis Arma are effectively indestructible, you can also use it to defend. It isn’t exactly the widest shield, but it should at least be able to block potentially fatal strikes to the throat and heart," I pointed out, as she hopped onto her feet and raised her arm up, staring at the bracelet before moving around, throwing a couple of punches across the air with a grin.

"Mhm, I’m definitely stronger. Hell, yeah...this is the best!"
