Sinner System-Chapter 543: Final Dungeon - Seventh Floor (Part 3)

The pillar in front of me began glowing, and then, in the next instant, I was teleported into the space within the ring of pillars. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

About two thirds of the space was sandy and damp, while the remaining third was covered in water, the waves crashing against my opponent’s legs as he stepped out onto the sand, narrowing his eyes at me.

Okay, this is it. Really don’t wanna die, so I should make sure I win. And if that isn’t possible, I’ll try to take him down with me, or at least inflict enough damage to weaken him.

"How revolting. Such a weak, lowly creature, with a look in its eyes that indicates that it truly believes it can kill me," He growled disdainfully.

"Well, yeah, I’m at a major disadvantage here, you’re clearly more powerful than I am. But, hey, anything can happen," I smirked tauntingly.

"Be careful! It looks like he has the ability to grow bigger, watch out for that!" Called out Kai, Deino tensing slightly as he glanced that way and narrowed his eyes with an irritated growl.

That’s useful to know, I’ll have to keep it in mind. Now, then...

"[Blood Mode]," I chanted, before taking aim and firing a rapid, piercing beam of blood towards the Monster, shooting towards his Core with immense speed.

The beam shot through the left side of his torso as he shuffled across rapidly, the Sentinel grimacing as a trickle of blood ran out, before the wound swiftly closed up.

He let out a threatening snarl and shot towards me, drawing out his blades, before crossing them in front of himself as I fired out another piercing blood beam, which collided against the crossed swords, blocking my attack.

Those blades of his look like they’re a bit over a meter and a half long, and they’re pretty wide too...they’re well-suited for both offense and defense.

"[Bone Mode]!" I exclaimed, springing back as he closed in and lunged forward, swinging his right blade across at my left side, grazing my forearm, just below my elbow, before raising his other blade defensively as I fired out a volley of bone bullets.

The bullets pinging off the face of his blade as I backed away and got some distance, before raising my left hand in his direction and extending out a bone spike towards him with as much speed as I could generate.

Suddenly, he leapt forward and above it before it could reach him, before swinging his blades out in front of himself as I fired out a barrage of bone bullets towards him, deflecting them away as he plummeted towards me.

I stopped firing and backed away as fast as I could as he began to close in, before suddenly twisting his body across and whipping his tail towards me, which elongated as his body began to expand.

I tilted my head across as his tail closed in on me, too fast to evade, before wincing in pain as it slammed onto my left shoulder with immense force, a sharp twinge of pain erupting as he dislocated my shoulder upon impact.

As his tail thudded against the floor, I gritted my teeth as I fired a bone spike out of my right wrist, a snarl echoing out as it pierced through his tail, before he flung it off with a sharp flick of his tail, spinning around and swinging both his blades straight down towards me.

I narrowly evaded the slashes as I launched myself back with a pressurized burst of blood from the front of my feet, before stiffening as he slammed his blades against the ground and used them to vault himself straight towards me.

His feet slammed against the middle of my torso with a crushing impact, sending me hurtling back through the air before crashing onto one of the pillars with a sharp gasp, coughing out blood as I fell off the pillar and collapsed onto my knees.

Th-That was close...I managed to absorb some of the force by forming a layer of bone over my torso and increasing the concentration of blood around that spot, but that still did a ton of damage.

Fortunately, broken bones aren’t a problem for me, I can repair them with ease. But there’s not much I can do about the damage to my internal organs, I can stem any internal bleeding, sure, but I can’t heal the actual damage.

I manipulated my bones to pop my left shoulder back into place and repair my fractured ribs, getting back onto my feet with a grimace as Deino came rushing in towards me fiercely.

As he closed in on me, I launched myself straight up into the air with a pressurized burst of blood from my soles, before unleashing a drilling bone projectile down towards him from my left hand, switching my Blood n’ Bone Blaster to Blood Mode and whipping my arm across as I fired out a piercing blood beam.

He swiftly blocked it with the face of his right blade, before hurtling his left blade up towards me with a powerful snap of his wrist, the serrated edge of the blade grazing my right bicep as I blasted myself across to the left with pressurized blood, narrowly avoiding a direct hit.

I fired out another piercing blood beam down towards him, which he blocked with his blade, before chasing after me as I zipped through the air, keeping my distance.

I can’t fire those blood beams in rapid succession, otherwise I could just keep spamming it until one slips through...but that isn’t an option. And the bone bullets don’t quite have enough momentum to seriously threaten him.

Okay, I’ll keep my distance up here, at least long enough to come up with a plan and regain my bearings, I should play it safe and-...

Suddenly, he began to rapidly grow again, his blades expanding in direct proportion, before he flung one of them towards me with a powerful flick of his wrist, the large blade spinning towards my head with alarming speed.

I veered down and across as fast as I could, losing a few strands of hair as I just barely avoiding losing my head, before my eyes widened in alarm as he leapt up and grabbed me with his left hand, tightening his grasp around me as his blade plummeted and hit the ground with crash...
