Sinner System-Chapter 549: Final Dungeon - Final Floor (Part 3)
"H-Holy...wow, that was really trippy," Remarked Cleo, looking a bit disoriented.
Alright, let’s have a look, Appraisal:
Stats:
HP: 2240 -> 3500
MP: 3500 -> 5000
Strength: 2240 -> 3500
Agility: 3200 -> 5000
Vitality: 2240 -> 3500
Perception: 3200 -> 5000
Power Level: 2,770,000 -> 4,250,000
Huh...her current base stats are higher than her stats with Monstrification were before, she’s gotten a lot stronger. This is a hell of a substantial increase, wow.
And with Monstrification, her Power Level will rise to around, uh...slightly below six million, I think, if my math is right. Ai?
<Correct>
<Her Power Level with Monstrification would be 5,958,300>
Nice, I was pretty close.
"You’re more than fifty percent more powerful than you were, holy shit," Remarked Aria in bemusement.
"Yeah, I wasn’t expecting this. Especially since I’d apparently already reached the upper limit of how much stronger I could get. But my Hidden Skill was able to force an evolution, thanks to the dense and powerful concentration of Mana in this Dungeon," She replied, looking pretty giddy.
<I think that’s probably what happened to you too>
<The bonus for acquiring all seven Apostles of Sin effectively evolved you, and that was aided by the dense concentration of Mana in this Dungeon, which resulted in the power boost from the evolution being a lot more significant>
<And since Ariella is linked to you, she got caught up in it too>
I see...heh, I seriously doubt Vaszel could have ever expected that the Final Dungeon would end up boosting all of us to such drastic extents. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"Looks like you haven’t gotten any new Skills, is the boost to your raw power the only change?" I asked Cleo.
"No, not quite. Yeah, I didn’t get any new abilities, but my existing ones have improved. My Item Box has expanded from a hundred slots to two hundred and fifty slots.
All the Skills I acquired from Monsters used to only last for five seconds and then a minute cooldown, but I can now use them for ten seconds, followed by a thirty second cooldown.
The same applies to Partial Monstrification too. And as for Monstrification, my time limit has increased from ten to fifteen minutes, and the cooldown has been halved from an hour to half an hour," She grinned with a gleam in her eyes.
"Damn, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m feeling pretty good about our odds right now," Spoke up Jaden.
"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Let’s get a move on and kick the Demon Lord’s ass," Responded Ciel, cracking her knuckles.
Her bloodlust is palpable, not that I can blame her.
"Hang on. Before we go, let’s discuss our plan. Despite our increases in power, none of us are even close to the Demon Lord’s level. The odds aren’t great for any of us in a one on one fight. With that in mind, I say we have Petrus take all except one of us into the shadows. And the odd one out should be me," I remarked, getting straight to the point.
"Hard pass," Frowned Aria without hesitation.
"Yeah, what she said. I’m not on board with that," Added Jaden in agreement.
"Same here. We should just stick with the original plan and have all of us X-Aces in play," Ciel chimed in.
"U-Um, yeah, I agree," Nodded Cleo.
I did expect some opposition, but not this much.
"Also, I can’t take that many people into the shadows. While it is easier now thanks to my new Personalis Arma, it still has limits. It’s really difficult to keep people down in the shadows with me if I’m not making direct physical contact with them. Otherwise, they’ll just get forcibly ejected back out through the nearest shadow," Petrus informed me.
Then, either way, it’s a moot point.
"Let’s just proceed and see what happens. Yes, it’s dangerous, incredibly so, but we already knew that going into this," Pointed out Aria, as she took hold of my hand and gave it a soft squeeze.
"I-...yeah, I suppose you’ve got a point there. It’s just...since I’ve got the Apostles, it just seemed like, if one of us has to fight the Demon Lord, it should be me," I replied with a sigh.
"Hey, I can summon them now too, remember?" She reminded me with a smile.
"And even if the rest of us aren’t strong enough to defeat him, we can at least weaken and tire him out before he kills us," Added Jaden with a grin.
"U-Uh, I’m hoping it won’t come to that, but yeah, I agree," Chimed in Cleo.
"Same here," Nodded Ciel without hesitation.
"We’ve all come this far, so we might as well see it through to the end," Remarked Jaden, as he lightly punched my shoulder.
"Alright, then...you guys have made your point. Let’s get going. Avaritia, have you located the Demon Lord?"
"<Yes, Master, I have. There are a number of Greater Demons ahead, with a handful of Archdemons beyond that. Then, not too far ahead of the Demon Lord’s position, there are five Archdemons who are more powerful than the others>."
"What about that Archdemon you mentioned before, Spektar, was it?" I asked her.
"<I’m afraid I do not know, he does not have a scent, since he has no physical form>," She replied with a shake of her head.
That Archdemon definitely has me concerned, considering that we don’t even know what his abilities are.
"Since he doesn’t have a physical form, does that mean he can, like, turn invisible and stuff?" Inquired Brid warily.
"<Well, not that I know of. But I have never seen him in battle or display any of his abilities>."
"<Yes, it is the same with me. Besides the ability to phase through walls and ceilings, I do not have any idea of what he is capable of>," Added Gula with a shrug.
"In that case, we’ll just have to keep an eye out for him. Now, then...let’s do this. Avaritia, lead the way."
"<Yes, as you command, Master>."
