Slime Leveling [Litrpg, Timeloop]-Chapter 183—Kneeling King
In the goblin village, in Giliberu's dwelling.
The moon rose to its peak, illuminating the world.
"Here… Giru," Giliberu sliced a portion of meat from the rabbit, and handed it over to a goblin kid.
Giru took the meat with both hands and grinned widely.
Swiftly, Giliberu sliced the meat into different pieces and handed them over to the goblins.
Thud!
The door was knocked just when Giliberu had finished distributing.
Giru stood up and opened the door as the Goblin Lord had entered the room.
"This…." Giliberu opened his mouth and scowled.
Goblin Lord had carried a woman on his shoulders.
He said, "This is one delicate toy I found with some effort," and placed her on the bed, as Giliberu stood up and moved aside.
'She's so beautiful…' Giliberu clicked his tongue, glancing at the woman clad in a bright red burgundy gown. 'She feels like a gentle girl who needs protection.'
'She's no less beautiful than Haruka, Seralyth…' he mused, frowning.
Goblin Lord said, "She is the princess of Zethia. I kidnapped her specially for you." 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"Why?" Giliberu asked, glaring at the Goblin Lord with cold eyes.
"I want a grandson." Goblin Lord declared sternly, patting his son's shoulder as he walked away.
Everyone had run away when the Goblin Lord had arrived.
'Idiot… utter idiot,' Giliberu scowled, clenching his fists.
"Hhh," the princess winced as she turned on the bed.
Giliberu glanced at her as she slowly opened her eyes, rubbing her forehead.
She roared, once she spotted Giliberu, "AHhhh!"
"Don't worry… I won't harm you." Giliberu said in the first human tongue, Herica.
"You… don't come close." She yelled, covering herself despite being dressed.
Giliberu's eyes twitched. 'Just how do they see goblins…'
Then he recalled how goblins treated women. 'Yeah, no doubt her reaction is correct… and she's kidnapped, after all.'
He moved back to let her breathe.
She glanced around, her eyes widened as she trembled. She cast, "Fireball!"
A seal flared on her chest, breaking the crimson rune, which manifested on her palm.
"My power is sealed?" She screamed.
Goblin Lord, who was outside, nodded to himself, hearing screams. "Son, you must give me a grandson quick…"
"Don't worry," Giliberu raised his arms, trying his best to calm her. "I won't come closer."
"I'm Giliberu, and who are you?" he asked, trying to let her breathe.
"Rororr." Suddenly, a loud roar echoed through the entire hill.
"This…" Goblin Lord trembled, his body twitched, as demonic magic suddenly went berserk.
He yelled, "Goblins, escape!... Kids, run."
He broke into Giliberu's dwelling and hugged him from behind.
"I'm going to die," he said, releasing him after a moment.
Giliberu was surprised by the flow of events.
He frowned as the Goblin Lord flashed in front of the princess and knocked her out by chopping her neck.
He then placed his palm on the floor and pulled a plank of wood up.
"Escape…" he barked.
Giliberu's demonic force also went berserk, as he felt a chill.
'Something dangerous is focusing its murderous intent on us,' he realized, with complex emotions in his eyes, as he entered the secret tunnel.
"Son… you are special," Goblin Lord said, with dryness.
He glanced at the princess and continued, "You are intelligent from birth, aren't you?"
Giliberu shook as he stood silent in the tunnel.
Goblin Lord said, with dim eyes, "Sorry, son, for killing your mom… we goblins are like this… I hope you, as a reincarnator, change this and make goblins better."
The words hung in the air.
He had tears as he continued, "I'm sorry, it was never about the grandson."
He placed the plank back, as Giliberu stood in the secret tunnel, still shocked.
The darkness swallowed the tunnel.
'He knows…' Giliberu shook, as he recalled Goblin Lord poking his baby face and how Goblin Lord somehow let him go when he mentioned things he shouldn't know in the first place.
The realization struck harder than the roar outside.
Goblin Lord drew his axe from his storage pouch and yelled, "Son… prove that your way is correct… I'll watch from hell."
Silence answered him.
'Am I hating him...or...' Giliberu couldn't understand his own complex emotions as tears fell.
He remembered the day he had stared at the fruit as a goblin baby. The Goblin Lord had returned with it hours later, missing an arm.
He had never asked for it.
Monster roar echoed outside.
'Just an arm… it regenerates,' he scowled. But his tears kept falling.
"Roarr!… where is the princess of Zethia?" A loud male voice echoed through the goblin village.
'So it was all about her…' Giliberu thought, wiping his eyes as he sat down.
A few hours ago—
"Raoor!" Dragon roared as he flew through the air.
"Darling… this is Zethia…" Sienna said, pointing to towering gates below her.
"Let's go in." Dragon grinned as he rushed in, not caring about his wing power, which blew many humans like ants below.
Some were outright dead due to pressure.
"Stand down… Alex," The blond guard yelled at a young guard who picked weapons, glaring at the bright red dragon, which had four limbs, a majestic sculpture-like body, two wide wings, and powerful dragon scales.
"But, it killed people…" Alex roared, biting his lips.
"Save your life." The blond guard said, pulling down Alex to kneel.
Dragon cast, "Fire Dragon Breath."
A crimson magic rune flared on his mouth as Dragon blew fire from his mouth.
Zzz!
Hot orange fire burned everything in his path.
Alex, the blond guard, and a few more were burnt to dust.
Citizens' screams, panic roars, and squeals echoed through the air.
Dragon smiled as he flew to the palace, watching a stampede break below.
A few moments later—
"Where is the princess?" Dragon asked as he landed in front of the palace, where a few humans knelt down in surrender.
"My daughter was kidnapped." A middle-aged man clad in a gold robe and a crown on his head, replied while swallowing his saliva.
"What? Who dares?" Dragon hissed. "Don't they know only dragons are worthy of such treasures?"
"It's goblins…" An old man stammered, who knelt beside the king.
"Goblins? Are you serious?" Dragon barked, narrowing his eyes.
"Goblins have a Tier 3 being." An old man in a butler suit said, almost touching the ground with his head, "And our country is small and weak…we have only one newly entered tier 3 powerhouse."
Back to present—
Dragon had followed the Goblin Lord and Elder Goblin's demonic force and rushed to the goblin village.
He yelled, "Where is my wife?"
The ground trembled under his roar.
