SMUT: I Summoned The Demon Lord curvey and broken Daughter-Chapter 58: The Hooded Men 2
Deborah hugged her plushie to her chest, then turned back to him...her tone shifting back to that carefree, almost childlike excitement.
"So relax, Minato."
She nudged him with her elbow.
"Let’s enjoy this adventure."
And with absolutely no hesitation, she started walking into the cave.
Minato stood frozen for half a second before muttering to himself...
"...it is going to be a long journey ."
Then he ran and hurried after her... they moved deeper into the cave, the air grew hotter and heavier, like a room full of steam. Minato wiped the sweat forming on his forehead.
Deborah walked a few steps ahead, barefoot, completely unbothered, her plushie still tucked under her arm...
Then the narrow cave passage suddenly opened up, and both Minato and Deborah froze.
Their eyes widened.
They couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
It wasn’t just a cave anymore...
The entire inside had been carved and rebuilt into a massive underground meeting hall. Stone pillars had been shaped by hand, torches were placed evenly along the walls, and a wide circular platform stood at the center like a stage.
Different voices echoed all around.
Minato instantly grabbed Deborah’s pajama sleeve and pulled her behind a large rock...
Deborah leaned in close, whispering with a grin,
"Calm down, Minato. You’re being way too rough. Didn’t think you were the type to drag a girl around."
Before he could reply, she flicked the side of his head lightly.
"And seriously...stop yanking me like I’m Amelia."
Minato stiffened up he looked at her with nonchalant eyes, but begrudgingly dipped his head in acknowledgment.
Then Deborah pointed upward...
"Come on. Up."
Before he could question it, she jumped...straight to the ceiling...and stuck there as if gravity didn’t exist. She motioned for him to follow.
Minato swallowed his saliva. He had seen Amelia do it at his apartment, but he wasn’t sure if he could do it too...
He pressed his foot against the wall and tried to push upward the way she had shown him.
His right foot stuck...
Then his other foot...
Then both of his hands...
"...Holy crap. I actually did it," he whispered.
"Good boy," she whispered back, smiling. "Now move."
They crawled upside down across the ceiling, keeping quiet.
Below them, about twenty figures in black hooded robes began removing their hoods. Minato held his breath.
One of the robed figures spoke, "They should be here any moment."
Another replied, "Make space for the leaders."
A few seconds later, footsteps approached from another tunnel.
All the robed figures lowered their heads as their leaders entered the chamber...
Below them, one of the leaders removed his hood, showing his face and blue hair tied neatly back and his sharp red eyes scanning the crowd.
Deborah’s eyes widened in recognition.
"...Darius McQueen Veshart," she whispered sharply.
Her tone was serious, very different from her usual playful one.
"That is Amelia’s fiancé."
She muttered under her breath, "This bastard... I knew he was suspicious."
Minato clenched his jaw. The system had already informed him about Darius’ betrayal, but hearing Deborah say it made him happy because he wouldn’t need to explain anything to Elizabeth, because Deborah would do it for him...
One of the hooded men stepped forward.
"Lord Arizona, Lord Luciana, Lord Adams, Lord Darius... everything is prepared."
Darius nodded twice. "Good. We proceed as planned. The Demon Lord’s rule will end soon. The Blood Tree will be ours."
Several members murmured in agreement.
Another man stepped forward, lowering his hood.
"What about the princess? Amelia Alexander Earhart? She disappeared for weeks and suddenly returned. Don’t you think she might obstruct our operation?"
Darius’s jaw tightened. His expression shifted from irritation to controlled anger.
"No. She will not."
He clenched his fist slowly, and the sound of his leather glove kept creaking out loud.
"She will obey. Whether she likes it or not."
Another member spoke up from the crowd.
"But... what if she doesn’t?"
Darius turned his head slightly. His eyes were cold and direct, as if the answer required no hesitation.
"Then we will kill her."
A few of the followers stiffened. Some nodded. No one argued.
Darius continued, voice firm and steady,
"Sentiment has no place in this. The blood Tree, the throne, and our future come first. If Amelia or any of her sisters stands in the way, they will be removed like any other obstacle."
He scanned the room.
"Is that understood?"
The entire chamber answered in unison.
"Yes, Lord Darius."
Before the topic could end, another follower spoke up.
"And the newly turned vampire? The boy she came back with? He may interfere."
Darius scoffed. "A newly turned vampire? He’s irrelevant. If I see him again, I’ll crush him."
Minato’s stomach tightened the moment he heard Darius say it... He kept his breathing quiet, clinging to the ceiling beside Deborah.
Deborah’s face immediately changed. The lazy, casual expression she normally wore was gone. Her eyes sharpened, glowing bright red, and her grip on her plushie tightened until the fabric got stretched out.
"...That lousy bastard," she whispered, voice low and steady. "I knew he was arrogant, but to say that about his own fiancé..."
Minato bites down on his lips, unable to hide the anger that was building in his chest.
Deborah leaned slightly closer, keeping her voice controlled...
"Minato, listen carefully. What you heard here stays between us. Don’t breathe a word to anyone except Amelia and Elizabeth. She needs to know who she’s dealing with."
Minato nodded in agreement, but sadly, Amelia already knows about it.
Below them, the meeting continued...members discussing strategy, gathering supplies, and preparing for something large. Darius and other leaders stood in the center like they owned the room, giving out orders with no hesitation.
Minato kept watching, memorizing every face and every word...
Deborah’s expression stayed fixed on Darius.
"That psychopath thinks he can lay a finger on my little sister?" she muttered quietly. "Let him try. He’ll lose more than just his pride."
She angrily grabbed Minato’s wrist firmly.
"We’re leaving. We’ve seen enough. If we stay any longer, I might drop down there and rip his tongue out."
Minato didn’t argue, because he too was pissed...
Silently, the two of them crawled back toward the tunnel entrance, careful not to make a sound as the cult continued planning below them.
