Soul World Of Strong Souls-Chapter 69: Missing Princess 4
NOTE : This Chapter continues from the last one, if you didn’t read the last one, go and read it, then continue here.
Gilthunder glared at the two parents who were confused and stressed about their only young daughter.
He gasped when he had them giving a point about asking his mates; he thought that they would tell the truth before he did, and that would land him in real trouble. His honest reviews will be compromised.
He cleared his throat, paving the road for his words to be clearly heard by the two royals. The king and queen paused and glared at Gilthunder, who softly closed his eyes while he took a deep breath with his nose.
He released the air and said, "The princess..." He hesitated; he then glared aside, his face pale and scared for some reason. He then continued, "The princess fled to the northern side!" he said while he tightly closed his eyes, waiting for the king and queen’s response.
Suddenly, the queen said, "Huh?! What do you mean she fled to the northern side?" she asked with a rageous face that was waiting to explode. Her face was all red because of anger, and her eyes were blazing with rage as she glared at Gil.
"Sorry, my queen, we didn’t catch her. We tried, but she was so fast that none of the soldiers knew where she went; they only found her gear!" Gilthunder explained while she took the bean off its shell.
His gaze was on the shiny floor while his teeth gritted as he silently blamed himself for not verifying the soldiers before they left.
’I saw her; she looked suspicious. Why didn’t I check...?’
Before he finished thinking, the king connected the dots and understood Gil’s words. He angrily fired a question, saying, "What do you mean, her gear?" 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
The queen added, "Yes, from what I remember, she doesn’t have a gear, so what’s the meaning of that?" she said while she swung her hands as she used them to support herself to talk.
Gil slowly opened his eyes and glared at the thrones. He then replied to the two same questions that were shot at him by the royal ones.
He smoothly explained after taking a deep breath with his nose. He said, "The princess wore a disguise in order to go with us. She managed to trick one soldier that I didn’t actually pinpoint. She took our military gear and....."
"Wait a minute, are you saying that my daughter Sonia stooped so low?" The queen stood up in anger and asked Gil. His voice echoed through the throne room, surprising the castle savants that were outside.
Some savants started to go closer to the passage of the throne room as they tried to listen to what they were talking about.
They had their ears next to the wall near the start of the passage, where there were two guards who were also distracted, trying to listen to the voices that barely got out.
Inside, the king calmed his wife and made her sit down.
"Hey hey, calm down, breathe. It happened; the water is already on the ground. There’s no way of getting it back to the bucket. Just listen to what she did; maybe we will get a clue of where she went." The king succeeded in getting the queen to calm her body, heart, and mind. He got her to quietly sit down. He smoothly spoke to her with respect and calmness, his eyes glued straight to her eyes.
When she sat down, the king raised his right hand and said, "Continue, please!" he nicely said, with a print of a fake smile on his face that curled his lips up.
He bowed his head a bit and said, "Thank you, my king. The princess took the gear and rode the wagons to where she left Kai. When we reached it, she rushed towards the crowd, where we found Goro lying."
"She removed the helmet, and that’s when we saw that it was her. When she found out that the Kai guy was not around, she took off. When she took off, I told my guys to chase her because she was going the other way. They chased her, but they failed to catch her, and that’s where she escaped."
The king held his chin that was fully covered by his brown beard. He then looked at the queen, who looked intense and scared. She had her gaze frozen, glaring at the ground near Gil.
The king looked back at Gil and sighed. He then said, "Haa, that’s a hard one. I never thought that she’d disobey me. Now where could she be?"
Gilthunder frowned, his eyes smoothly closed as he related the king’s pain. He bowed and said, "I’ll be taking my leave now!"
"Ohh okay!" the King said as he raised his eyes, watching Gil standing up; he then drifted his eyes off him to the right side that had a window.
When Gil was about to get out, the King said, "Wait a moment, you said, ’Where did the princess go again?’" the king asked after he snapped his eyes open as he glared at Gilthunder.
Respectively, Gilthunder turned around and responded, "She headed to the northern side!"
"Okay, you can go now!" the King said as he started to rub his head.
"Okay!" Gilthunder took off, leaving the throne room with an intense feeling that whirled around because of fear, sadness, and terror.
They asked themselves where the princess went, but they ran out of ideas. They scratched their heads, but nothing came up.
After some time, the king widened his eyes as he gulped. He sat up straight and glared at the door.
He started saying, "She went to the northern side, right?"
The princess nodded, her eyes on the astonished-looking king.
The king continued and said, "Who do we know who lives there?" he asked as he drifted his eyes that narrowed while going to the queen.
She smoothly responded with a low voice, "Ahh, I don’t know; it doesn’t ring a bell."
"I’m sure this guy called... Satoru lives there."
