428 Fairy Zone

“Snow Sovereign.” Elliot said with a good natured and highly pleased smile.

It wasn’t everyday that he got to experience a pleasant surprise from his beasts.

Whatever a Snow Sovereign was, it would be epic! His power could only rise.

No, not rise.

Spike!

“Master, I could feel a strange call of sorts. My time with you in this Realm is short.” Snow Sovereign Winter said softly.

“Hmmmm?” Elliot frowned lightly.𝘧𝘳𝐞𝚎𝑤ℯ𝘣𝗻𝘰ѵℯl.c𝐨𝚖

It wasn’t due to the fact that Winter was leaving him. He had no worries about that. Wherever she went, he knew without a shred of doubt that she would never betray him.

Especially not after becoming a Snow Sovereign. With her wielding such great power, who or what could force her to betray him?

No, his main concern upon hearing her words was simply the fact that there was a “call” from another realm that could make her so sure that she had to answer. What realm was that?

And also the simple fact that if there was a “caller” who could make a powerhouse such as Winter obey despite being a contracted beast under Elliot, then it would be logical to think that the “caller” would be a powerful being or power.

And that meant that there was yet another mystery he had to deal with.

“Your time to deal with Red is running short as well.” Wu Kong reminded her good naturedly. Freeze him solid first before continuing your chat please.”

Winter glanced at Wu Kong and gave him a strange smile.

Whoosh!!!!

With a single thought, the beach they were at instantly turned into a frozen winter wonderland.

There was no discernable energy movement.

All around them in exactly a kilometer radius, everything turned from summer time to deep winter.

And in an incredible display of control, everything beyond that kilometer radius was completely untouched by the cold!

Everything and everybody froze.

Red.

Wu Kong.

Kai.

Everybody except Elliot.

At his level, although he could vaguely sense the biting cold that Winter manifested, he was able to resist it with automatic ease.

Elliot did, however, raise one eyebrow at Winter’s act of sheer dominance over her own brothers and sisters.

“I am not being arrogant, Master. But a Sovereign is a Sovereign. None may disrespect me. None, maybe except for you.” Winter said with her strange smile still on her face.

Elliot’s eyes gleamed with great interest.

“What exactly is a Sovereign, Winter? And why are you one?” Elliot asked.

“I am not exactly sure how it all works, Master. But here in this realm, I know I am undefeatable by anything it can produce. Here… I am at the level of a Goddess.” Winter explained.

“A Goddess. Like Aleyria and that Magius guy?” Elliot asked.

“Yes. At their level of strength, but…” Winter hesitated slightly before adding. “With much more authority.”

“Authority?? Under whose provision?” Elliot asked sharply.

“That I do not know. I can only say that if not for the loyalty that I have personally pledged to you, I would be able to issue orders to you, and it would be the most natural thing for you to obey me.” Winter said with her strange smile.

“Interesting. Interesting! I had thought that I had reached the apex of power. But hearing what you have to say, it seems to me that everything in this level of universe is but the preparatory stage of something bigger.

Laws. Sovereigns. And all of that just as I am about to cross into Ancient level. What else do I not know about this mysterious realm or multiverse or plane? Am I still a frog in the well, even after so much has happened?” Elliot exclaimed rather passionately.

He was feeling half annoyed that his journey to the top seemed so never-endingly long. However, a part of him was also feeling extremely excited. Based on his progress with the Laws and Winter’s seeming ease in becoming a Sovereign, he was sure that it was only a matter of time until he got to the top.

The REAL top.

His motivation and drive to be the strongest ever lived was rock solid!

However, apparently, fate decided that it wasn’t solid enough.

At that moment, a devastating sense of loss exploded in his heart in a sudden and shocking turn of events!

“What…” Elliot’s eyes widened in horror. Although he had no idea what just happened, he knew that it was bad.

Very, very bad!

Without missing a single breath, Elliot activated every single clone he had spread out all throughout the universe and casted all their senses everywhere to search for the cause of the sense of loss he was feeling.

At the same time, he checked on all his loved ones and those he considered as friends..

His sisters were fine.

All the human survivors were fine.

Aleyria and co were fine.

Monkey King, Jul’Taras and co were fine.

Elliot gritted his teeth in frustration as he realized who fate had chosen to be the source of his pain.

Jessica Sands!

“All of you. Find Purity and Jessica.” Elliot ordered all of his beasts with a soft but icy tone.

He was BEYOND pissed, BEYOND heartbroken, BEYOND anything words could say.

He wanted to save Jessica right there and then, and he would pay almost ANYTHING to get that done!

His only hope was that the Dragon Apostles would have an idea where Purity could have gone to.

“The soul power structure we have designed for you is almost done.” Dragon Apostle Blackwing said quietly. “You can finish it up yourself and ascend to the Ancient Level. I advise you to do that first before following us.”

“Following you?” Elliot asked Dragon Apostle Blackwing sharply.

“Yes. I have an idea where Purity went. The universe is full of incredibly mysterious spaces. Near Purity’s lair is one such space. She calls it… Fairy Zone.” Blackwing began.

Elliot’s eyes narrowed at his words.

“Fairy Zone. I do not like the sound of it.”
