Splitting the Heavens-Chapter 1619: Last Star Chart Pt.2
Chapter 1619: Last Star Chart Pt.2
With Shang Xia's assistance, Yan Ming methodically surveyed the sun from various aspects.
Meanwhile, his External Avatar started to patrol in a 500,000 mile radius around the sun to prevent any potential threats from appearing.
Finally, when they regrouped and compiled their findings, they concluded that it was an excellent candidate for Shang Xia’s breakthrough to the Seven Star Realm.
Even among the over 20 suns surveyed in the past across other Star Charts, its quality and compatibility ranked among the best!
The success of their first survey greatly uplifted Shang Xia's spirits.
Yan Ming appeared much calmer, having been involved in the survey of all the Star Charts.
As for Shang Xia’s External Avatar... Whenever it was with Shang Xia, all his emotions were essentially based on his true body.
After confirming that the sun that was located in the Merak position was suitable, the 3 set off again. This time, their destination was the sun at the Dubhe position.
The Dubhe position should be the star at the very end of the handle in the Big Dipper constellation but it was actually closest to where they were.
On their way to the second sun, Shang Xia and gang actually encountered a group of Star Pirates.
However, those pirates clearly picked the wrong target. The moment Shang Xia’s External Avatar revealed his aura to be a high-level True Immortal, they realized they had fucked up really badly.
That wasn’t even the worst part. Shang Xia’s External Avatar revealed his aura to scare them and buy time while Shang Xia personally moved to eliminate the fleet completely.
Given that Shang Xia's ascension to the Seven Star Realm was at stake, he wasn’t taking any chances. Especially not to the Star Pirates who roamed the Chaotic Sea of Stars. None of them were innocent and deserved to live anyway.
That wasn’t all. After unleashing Breaking World and shattering the void around the Star Pirate fleet and tossing them into the region of fractured space, he intentionally left a few of them alive. With his External Avatar and Yan Ming, Shang Xia tracked down the secret base of the Star Pirates on a desolate Earth Star not too far away.
The Earth Star, though not particularly large and situated in a rather obscure and dark location, was also completely destroyed under Shang Xia's fifth move. He shattered it with a single Breaking World, turning it into a field of space debris.
After their short detour, the trio quickly arrived at the position in the void that was likely where the sun at the Dubhe position.
It didn’t take them long to locate the giant burning ball. Compared to the first sun, it was slightly smaller. It contained abundant energy, but even at a glance, it was clear to them it was slightly inferior to the first.
Thankfully... It wasn’t that much weaker than the first sun.
Soon, Shang Xia’s External Avatar that was patrolling the region brought back news. "There are several Earth Stars that use this sun as a light source, with life flourishing on them. There are traces of human habitation on 2 of them. Overall, though, there is no significant danger. The most powerful beings on these Earth Stars do not possess the ability to enter the void on their own. There are no traces of True Immortals or even legends about them.”
To truly stand in the void without any external aid, one would need to be in the Martial Extermination Realm at the very least. If they wanted to navigate the void or stay in it for long periods of time, they would have to be in the Martial Dipper Realm.
For native beings on the Earth Stars mentioned, those in the Martial Extermination Realm would basically be celestial beings. If one appeared, legends would certainly follow.
Damaging the sun significantly would require Shang Xia to exert full effort, and only a true expert with the might of the Martial Emptiness Realm would pose an actual threat to the sun.
Given the current information, the section of the void seemed to be within a safe boundary.
As time continued to pass, Shang Xia had been wandering in the void for almost 2 months. Much of the time was spent on the journey from the sun at the Dubhe position to the sun at the Phecda position.
Ironically, their journey was not without disturbances. Midway through their planned route, roughly at the center of the handle of the Big Dipper constellation, they suddenly encountered spatial turbulence that blocked their path.
Shang Xia immediately felt a sense of foreboding. Based on past experiences, there was likely a world hidden behind disturbances like that, but whether it was an Azure World, a Spirit World, or an Essence World was unknown. Hell... It could even be a world of even higher quality!
"What do you plan to do?" Yan Ming asked him, her tone somewhat despondent.
Shang Xia gritted his teeth and growled, "I'll go in and have a look!"
Yan Ming understood that Shang Xia was unwilling to simply give up, so she asked, "Why don’t you send your External Avatar to scout ahead anyway?”
She glanced at his External Avatar, who remained silent.
He was, after all, a manifestation of Shang Xia's soul and did not possess independent thought.
Shang Xia mumbled, "He'll stay with you. In an emergency, just run. I have my own ways to protect myself!"
With that, Shang Xia plunged into the chaotic space.
Crossing unfamiliar regions of chaotic streams was dangerous as he wouldn’t know where he was. A slight misstep meant getting utterly lost.
Fortunately, he was accompanied by the new Grand Stargazer, Yan Ming. Even if he couldn't cross the chaotic streams to find the world it might protect, Shang Xia could still retreat safely with Yan Ming's coordination and spatial positioning.
Of course... That was his last resort.
He crossed multiple regions of chaotic streams and he was an experienced traveler in the sense. There were many times he had no guidance.

Spending some time and energy, he discovered the correct path in the void and entered a region of foreign space.
As soon as he emerged, a feeling of caution filled his mind. However, his instinct wasn’t to flee instantly.
After a brief hesitation and after making sure to conceal his aura and disguise his presence thoroughly, Shang Xia resolutely crossed the unstable buffer zone to enter the region of space around the world.
It didn’t appear too large. Shang Xia only traveled a few hundred thousand miles in the void before he saw a massive floating landmass in the distance. It was covered by a thin barrier that couldn’t even be considered a heavenly screen. It invoked a sense of familiarity in him.
"This is what a Barbaric World should look like!" Shang Xia mused silently, then quickly approached the outskirts for a closer observation.
A Barbaric World could only support an expert in the Martial Extermination Realm at the very most. Martial Dipper Realm experts needed special methods to enter, similar to how a True Immortal in an Azure World could only rely on hidden means to remain in their world or leave entirely.
With Shang Xia's powerful divine soul, the thin barrier couldn’t block his senses. It barely took him a moment to discover what was happening within.
What intrigued him was that not only were there Martial Dipper Realm experts within... 2 of them had an aura that clearly didn’t belong to the world!
Judging from the area around them, Shang Xia could tell that they held extraordinary status in the Barbaric World.
They seemed more like representatives sent from a superior world to reside there!
